“Lily was fantastic. My old girl (16!) is sweet and she took to her so quickly and when I came home she wasn’t anxious at all. Lily took the time to make a special connection with my Winnie and the photos and updates were so spot on — I could see Winnie was having a great time with her new human.”

“We absolutely love Amy! Honestly, we were far away from home and are pretty sure our dogs were sad when she left and disappointed to see us. She gives expert walks, did bath time - which is a total circus, and even cleaned some of our muddy blankets. I will call Amy anytime we leave! She’s the absolute best.”

“Tram did a great job of caring for my dog while I was out of town for a weekend. She followed instructions well and sent lots of updates! Would definitely use her again in the future!”

“My boys feel right at home whenever Dani and Seb come over. They always leave the house cleaner than when we left and do the laundry. Will continue to book them time and time again. Only sitters we trust! Thanks again :)”

“Sherry is an AWESOME house/pet sitter for our 2 Shih Tzu's. She communicates well, spends time with the girls, plays with them, loves on them, takes them for walks and field trips - they love her! We came home to a house in perfect order and 2 girls that wondered if they should go home with Sherry instead of staying with us! What more can be said?”

“Claire stayed our home with 5 dogs, not an easy task, and did OUTSTANDING. Thank you Claire for watching our 2 dogs, and 3 foster dogs. We really appreciate your help, especially on short notice.”

“Kari took great care of our dogs and home while we were gone! She went above an beyond to help with a package we were having delivered. We will definitely have her watch our dogs again.”

About: I can’t have my own dog right now, so I’d love to hang out with yours! I grew up with dogs (puppies to old dogs) and I have watched friends’, neighbors’, and family members’ dogs for them. I am responsible and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I work on campus ~9-5 pm (M-F), but my schedule is somewhat flexible if hours need to be adjusted for the pet. I am available all day on weekends and most weeknights. I am a responsible PhD student and will do my best to take care of both your pet and your home and follow any specific guidelines from you. I will take your dog on a run in the morning if you’d like, and I’d love to play with your dog/cat. :) I’m also happy to transport your pet in my car.

“Chevaughn did an amazing job! One of my dogs (Toffee) is 'very' skittish & does not warm up to new people well (it often takes weeks - sometimes months - for people just to be able to pet her). However, when we did the first meet & greet, Toffee was curious & got close enough to sniff him, which I thought was a great sign. But then... Chevaughn was actually able to pet her before leaving. She was wary, but let him. It kinda shocked me a bit. We had met with 2 other potential sitters & Toffee wouldn't get near them. With one of them, she wouldn't even come inside the house from the yard, not even for a treat, so long as the lady was there. Chevaughn has great energy, though. He was calm & assertive, moved gently around Carlee & Toffee, and they both became fast friends with him. While we were away, he even sent video of her licking his hand. That was a huge deal... Chevaughn was reliable, on time, consistent & most importantly, he is kind. Next time we need a sitter, he's our guy and I highly recommend him for taking care of your pups..”

“Nate and Becky were great while staying at our home to watch over our dog. They did everything we asked in regard to caring for Jagger. They were respectful of our home, leaving it exactly as when we left. When we returned, Jagger seemed very content, as if he did not miss us (that means he was in good hands while we were away). I will be booking with them again for future home sitting needs.”

About: I've always loved animals, and several dogs have "owned" me over the years. I lost my bestest girl about 2 years ago and I still mourn her. Now that I'm retiring, I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping care for your furry family members. I have experience with senior dogs, as well as giving meds. I've watched pets for friends and family for years. I'm currently retired and only working for a few hours on Tuesdays - and am home by 1:00 on Tuesdays, so I'm able to give long walks and snuggles. I'm able to stay in your home any day of the week. I live alone so your pet/s will have all my attention. I live in an apartment and will walk your pup several times a day with at least one long (@2 miles) walk if weather and their health allows. I allow pets on the furniture and on the bed if they are used to that. I'm happy to send update pics during the day. I admit that I have lots for my favorite pet friends, but I don't often do selfies, so the pics on here show pets that I've cared for doing activities, but don't include me.

About: I've owned dogs most of my life. Looking to provide care for other pet owners during the week. Life mission to pet all the dogs! I am available Monday to Thursday and some morning weekends. I can provide in home care, walking, feeding, and companionship during the week or before 2p weekends. I am a trustworthy animal loving person looking to provide care for lonely pets during the week at your home or provide walks or trips to a dog park as desired.

“My two senior dogs loved having Diane stay with them. She sent me wonderful pictures, made sure Ben got his medications and they both got their treats, and quickly understood their individual personality quirks. Plus the house looked great when I got home. I hope she can stay with them again when I'm away.”

About: I am a Registered Veterinary Technician and work in a vet clinic. I have experience with giving oral and injectable medications. I can work with senior and special needs dogs and have animal CPR and first aid training. I would love to help out with your baby. I work full time but have availability early in the morning and after 3:30pm. I am free all day on Mondays and I rotate weekend work schedule but still have available time every weekend. I have a fenced in back yard and a dog and three cats. There are separate housing rooms available in the home and lots of toys!

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats. I’m very experienced with both. I use to watch my aunts dogs for her while she was at work. She has 2 dogs and I’d sometimes watch her cats which at the time she had 4. I’m always dealing with cats and dogs. I care for them everyday no matter what. I love animals and I can take care of them. I can feed them, take them for walks, play with them. Do all of the things cats or dogs need. I do these things on a daily basis.

Oaks pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amy was the best sitter we could imagine to take care of our home and 2 fur babies! It was our first time using rover and she made us feel so comfortable with constant communication, pictures and updates throughout her stay. She treated our pets and our house like her own and we will 100% book her to watch them for any future travel we have!

Diane was FABULOUS! She was so great with our anxious dog, Julep, who isn’t always the best with strangers. She took her time with Julep so she would be comfortable and kept to her routine. Diane also stayed at our home and kept it so clean. We are so happy we found Diane!
