“Very helpful, despite the fact that my car broke so I couldn’t make it to town for the doggy daycare. Sarah was very understanding and kind about getting lost in the shuffle while I was dealing with my vehicle and accommodations in another State. Great communication and very friendly. I definitely would recommend!”

“Our first experience using the Rover app and Laney were exceptional. We felt very comfortable with leaving our dog and he seemed very relaxed and at home with her! I would recommend using her again!!”

About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. I have a doggie door and the back door is always open. I have a 5 year old pup that is very calming and caring. She has been great with other dogs. She is very nurturing and always makes sure those in her space are safe. I have a couple of stories I can provide about her. I am very hands on and constantly checking on my girl and will do the same for your furbaby. Safety is very important to me, not only for your furbaby but for myself and my furbaby as well.

“We were in Kansas City for the weekend for a game and had Cindy watch our dog, Opie. She was so wonderful. He was well taken care of and completely spoiled with her. He was a very happy boy when we picked him up.”

“Here's a review you can use: Brent did an excellent job taking care of my dog, Winnie, while I was on vacation. Knowing that Winnie was in good hands allowed me to fully enjoy my time away. Brent provided regular updates throughout the week, which gave me great peace of mind. It was like a home away from home for Winnie. I will definitely be using Brent again in the future!”

“Lauryn was awesome and super flexible on a last minute trip for daycare! Ruger was comfy and happy & I know her apartment smells delicious because ruger now also smells good! Thank you Lauryn!”

About: I'm currently working 9a-1p so I'll have the time to be in residence with the animals. Let them out and play with them. I love cuddling with animals on the couch or bed. I've had the enjoyment of working on Rover for over 5 years now with plenty of repeat clients and 5 star reviews. I have no prejudice of size or breed. My favorites are big dogs so I actually favor any breeds that may have stereotypes against them. I have a black lab who I love more than anything and 4 cats that keep me on my toes. Please message me with any clarifying questions. 🙂 For the next month or so, I'll be working 9a-1p so I'll be able to come back midday for a bathroom break and then spend time in the evening. I'm very relaxed when I'm dog sitting. I spend time with the dogs, hanging out in the livingroom. If they have toys, then I'll play with them or if they like to play outside we do that.

About: We have both been taking care of dogs and cat our entire lives. We had the responsibility growing up to take care of our animals in every way possible, that being playing, walking, feeding, cuddling, or giving medicine. Dog and cat sitting was one of our first jobs as well growing up. We currently have 2 dogs of our own; Rocky and Bamboo. We are very used to reactive dogs, as our boys are both very reactive on leash. We know how to handle the situation and how to make sure your dog stays out of harms way. Our dogs both went to board and train, so we both better understand reactivity and how to redirect the pups attention. We love to spend time with animals, so when we watch your pet, we will do whatever they want to do. If they want to play, we will play fetch or tug of war until they are exhausted. If they want to walk, we will do a nice walk (weather depending) around the neighborhood. If they like to just lounge around, we will cuddle with them on the couch and make sure they get all the love. When we watch your pets, we will always let you know when we are there, any critical updates, and whenever we head out. We want to make sure you are very informed on your pets well being and their care while we have them under our wing. We also love to send an abundance of photos so you can see your pup while your away, whether it be vacation or just at work for the day. Mikayla works full time from home M-F from 9-5, and Curtis works full time W-Sat from 3am-2pm. We split up the bookings depending on our work week so one of us is always able to take care of your pets. For house sittings, Mikayla does need to be home for at least 4 hours to take care of our dogs due to Curtis's schedule. Then she is able to come to your house and work. We live in a neighborhood with lots of paths to walk dogs. We can also walk your pup in your neighborhood if we are dropping in or house sitting. We have worked with leash reactive dogs for the past 4 years so we know how to handle these situations and how to handle stims, prong collars, gentle leads, and a variety of other tools for walking dogs if your pups uses these for walks.

“Coleen has been taking care of our dog Wally for about 4 months, since we brought him home at 10-weeks old. From stopping by to feed & play with him when he was still a baby, to taking him for walks or having him at her house for day care now that he's older, Coleen has always done a fantastic job taking care of our little boy. Her love for dogs is obvious, and Wally very clearly loves her, too! Highly recommend her services.”

About: *I’m returning to Rover after a long break* Accepting New Clients My love for animals began early and my desire to have them as a part of my family was natural. I learned quickly that my pets preferred to be in the comfort of a home when I was away, where they could enjoy the luxuries of their favorite beds, outside backyard play and one on one attention. This is what lead to the development of The KC Pet Nanny. I found in 2004, when I was traveling, there were few acceptable options for my beloved furry kids aside from an expensive, cold kennels that were far from the home environment they appreciated & came to expect. How could I travel knowing my pets were not the happiest they could be? I couldn't. I set out to make dog sitting an option for everyone, even those within the animal rescue community which I am a proud part of. Each pet parent gets "Nanny Notes" detailing their dogs stay along with photos. *Subscriber to RelaxMyDog . com* I’m a retired Social Worker and I’m home most days. I also have a collage age daughter. I offer time outside to exercise and potty. We have socialization time inside. Most days, weather permitting, they are have the option of outside time every 2-3 hours, Our home environment is stable and harmonious. We have fun, we relax, we thrive. Whether it’s backyard play in a secured fence or indoor recess, safety is a priority.

Cassidy S.Star Sitter
“I highly recommend Cassidy as a pet caregiver. I've personally witnessed her exceptional care for pets, including her own dog, and her genuine compassion shines through in everything she does. Her dedication and loving nature toward all living things have led many people, including myself, to seek her services repeatedly.”

Paula K.

“My dog loves to stay with Paula (so much that we sometimes call her Paw-la)! How do I know? In addition to knowing that she is just a huge animal lover (who often fosters for our local no-kill shelter), I get updates occasionally via text or Facebook. My dog playing with, or cuddled up next to someone in her house. Sometimes it's her. Sometimes it's another pet. Sometimes it's her daughter. But whomever he is getting attention from - he always is enjoying himself. He is a very timid dog, so I am always careful who I allow to tend to him. I have no hesitation in recommending Paula as a Pet Nanny.”
Oaks dog parents share their Rover experiences
James was a Godsend! My backup dog sitter fell through, and James agreed to keep Brownie on very short notice. He was patient with her separation anxiety and won her over quickly. Kind, gentle, dependable, polite, communicative... I can't say enough good things. James turned my stressful week into a peaceful one. 10/10

Nicole kept me updated on Ace’s stay. Sent plenty of pics and messages to ensure me that he was well taken care of. I extended his stay cause I got busy and she was able to watch him the extra days with no problem. Next time I’m in town I’m for sure going to use her services.
