Highly-rated overnight sitters - Oaks
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Taylor! We were a bit nervous at first since Steven has only ever stayed with one other person before, but Taylor immediately put us at ease. She was so warm, communicative, and clearly great with dogs. We loved getting daily updates and pictures—it was obvious Steven was having a great time. He looked so happy in every photo, and honestly, a little sad when it was time for him to go! We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust, and we’d absolutely book with Taylor again.”

“This was the first time boarding our dog and this family was amazing. From the moment we met, I had nothing but good vibes and felt incredibly at ease. The updates and pictures were great and they were so communicative. We will be rebooking for sure!!!”

“Laurie was incredible! She took such great care of Roo and really took the time to get to know his needs (he’s a senior dog) and play with him. Roo has pretty bad anxiety, and was comfortable and at home with Laurie.”

“Joseph took care of Luna for a little over 2 weeks, and we couldn’t be more pleased. We got the perfect amount of updates and pictures/videos. We’ve left Luna in Jospeh’s care several times at this point, and have no plans of stopping in the future.”

“Dominic and his team at home took great care of Maddie. She came home worn out from all the playing with the other dogs. They have a great yard for outdoor playtime and plenty of beds all around (and a lap or two).”

“Rachel was amazing! She was very communicative and was graciously flexible with my travel schedule. The dogs loved her and had an amazing time! Will definitely use her again in the future. No concerns whatsoever.”

“Angelica was super responsive and sweet! She made sure Coop was comfortable with his first night away from home. He was worn out from all the playing when we picked him up! Definitely recommend for your pups!”

“Samantha is an excellent dog sitter! She invited Honey and Walter over for a meet and greet a few weeks before the boarding date for everyone to get acquainted. The pups settled right in and enjoyed their time. Samantha checked in regularly and sent pictures to show what they were up to. We will definitely board our dogs with her again!”

“Kayleigh was amazing with our two elderly griffons. One is especially fragile, with blindness and diabetes. Kayleigh went the extra mile to make sure her finicky needs were met so she would eat and get the insulin she needs. I can’t recommend her enough. She was kind, communicative and most of all, super caring to our two babies. Thank you, Kayleigh!!!”

“Madelyn and her husband did an excellent job looking after our dog. Madelyn sent frequent updates with photos and videos each day. It was easy to tell Madelyn provided great care and love to our dog. Highly recommended!”

“Nelson stayed with Noreen over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. She sent pictures of him in the morning, afternoons, and evening each day of his stay. She was very communicative and I didn't have to wonder how he was doing. Noreen was very accommodating to Nelson's diet. He stayed with two of his toys, his special food bowl, treats, and leashes. Noreen had a bed for him to sleep on and water bowls. Pictures showed Nelson enjoying being out in their backyard, going for walks, and playing with the other dogs. It appears he had a great time and I am very grateful that he got to stay with such a nice family over the holiday weekend. I had booked his stay on short notice because it had slipped my mind in preparation for my upcoming trip. All of the local kennels for boarding were booked. Noreen made it very easy for me to book his stay. It was very much appreciated. I highly recommend using her services and would definitely book again.”

“Sharon and Glen provided a nice meet and greet, which was reassuring and permitted my dog to meet their dogs. I needed a long stay and they were able to accommodate at a reasonable price. They sent pictures to update me during our vacation. My dog seemed happy with the arrangement as well! Thank you for a great experience!”

“Michelle has a big heart for the dogs and spoils them with lots of love and toys. She has 2 adorable dogs of her own. We were happy to know she has a 6ft fence to keep my fence jumper in and safe. Both my dogs seemed happier and more at ease when we picked them up opposed to boarding. We would love for Michelle to watch our kids again sometime. Thanks!”

“Misti was so great! During the meet and greet, our dog felt immediately comfortable at her house. She sent us regular updates and pictures, quickly responded, and was overall great to work with. We felt very comfortable going out of town and leaving our dog in her care.”

“Lori was very accommodating with our schedule and was willing to do a meet and greet to be sure our dog would get along with her dogs. She updated us and responded when we sent messages. I think our dog had fun too! Thanks!!”

“Bandit was so happy and calm when I picked him up. It was very clear he was comfortable and well taken care of! She took him on several walks and sent many pictures. He was a HAPPY BOY!!”

“After kenneling Max at the vet multiple times, he always seemed to come home stressed, anxious and out of sorts. After coming home from Sarah’s after 4 days there, it was the same old Max. No anxiety, no stress! Sarah was awesome! Texted pictures and kept us updated on how Max was doing. We are so happy we found a great home away from home for Max when we can’t take him with us!”

“Nina did an excellent job of caring for our older dog. He needs to take pills 2x/day and has an odd diet and she kept to the guidelines on all of his weirdness. I hope Nina is free when I need a Rover next time!”
“Lona and Alan took such great care of my Goldendoodle! They were very kind, stayed in touch with regular updates and pictures, and were super responsive anytime I checked in. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. Highly recommend them!”

“Misti took care of my two cats twice a day for two weeks. She did everything I asked and sent extra notes and pics at each visit. She is a great communicator! Misti even got my shy cat, Paris, into a great routine early on and was able to pet her by the end of the two weeks. I called Misti the cat whisperer for her ability to win Paris over. The house was perfect and cats were happy when we returned home. I will definitely call upon Misti for pet care in the future!”

“Riley is the sweetest! Great at communicating and very thorough and sweet. Provided great updates for our sweet cat throughout the weekend. Will definitely reach out again for cat sitting!”

“Paola was wonderful to my babies and always made the extra effort. She was on time and spent the entire hour with my babies and I truly appreciate that. She sent me photos, I missed them so much its my first time away from my kitten the pictures were so appreciated. Perfect for high energy dogs - Oaks
“I booked with Taylor to watch my dog for a couple hours one morning. He has separation anxiety. She understands the needs for a dog with SA and was able to help manage his nerves while we were gone for some errands.”

About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. I have a doggie door and the back door is always open. I have a 5 year old pup that is very calming and caring. She has been great with other dogs. She is very nurturing and always makes sure those in her space are safe. I have a couple of stories I can provide about her. I am very hands on and constantly checking on my girl and will do the same for your furbaby. Safety is very important to me, not only for your furbaby but for myself and my furbaby as well.

“Lori was incredible and compassionate, promptly responding to my text messages. Since it was my first time leaving my puppies with someone, I would strongly recommend Lori and Rover. Thank you for making this experience so delightful.”

We will be home full time! Let us help with your fur baby! I have a fenced in yard and a basement if the animal needs space. We will take the dogs out regularly. They will be safe and loved here.

About: Are you looking for a place your pet will love to visit, look no further. Your dog will be treated as family while in our care. We have a lot of laps to provide attention and love. We will will walk your dog and play with him/ her daily. Our family has been dog-sitting for many years. We love having extra dogs here. Your dogs will get personal attention and daily walks. We are home most of the day. I've had the privilege of having dogs (and other pets) all my life. Currently we have 3 small dogs. We love having pets in our lives, and they are fun to have around. The children in this house are dog lovers, and they can't wait to help out! Our pets are part of our family and spend time with us whether we are lounging around or playing outside. We have a quiet neighborhood we can walk your dogs around. We have plenty of room for them to play. I hope you will choose our family to be your dog's home away from home. With our range of age in our family, often there is someone home to attend to your dog. During the summers, we have even more flexibly and more of us regularly at home. This gives us regular opportunities for walks and potty breaks.
About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.
About: I am a retired police dispatcher and have a squeaky clean background. I love all animals! I provide calm, reliable care and treat every dog like part of the family while they’re with me. I know how important it is for pet parents to feel comfortable leaving their dog with someone they trust, so I focus on safety, communication, and making pets feel at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a dog’s normal routine, I make sure each pet gets personalized attention and care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m retired and have a very flexible schedule. I’m home often, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I respect both the pet's routine and the home itself by following all care instructions carefully. I treat all dogs like they are my family.

About: I’ve had yorkie’s, dobie’s, lab’s, shepherd’s and schnauzer’s. My little Stevie passed away in April after 13 years together. She can’t be replaced so I’m looking to fill the void by caring for others while my heart mends. I have a lot of free time without a set schedule so there is always time to snuggle and play and go for walks together. I have a 4’ tall fenced yard with neighbors that have dogs too. About: One of the things that sets me apart is my firsthand experience caring for high-energy, intelligent breeds. I have two Huskies and a Samoyed, so I’m very familiar with the exercise, structure, and attention these dogs need to thrive. I understand that active breeds aren’t just looking for a quick potty break—they need engagement, mental stimulation, and plenty of activity. Because I care for three dogs every day, I’m comfortable managing multiple pets, maintaining routines, and recognizing when a dog needs extra attention or a little more space. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll make sure they receive personalized care based on their personality and your preferences. I’m dependable, organized, and know how important communication is when you’re away from your pet. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and being treated like one of my own. My goal is simple: to provide the same level of care, patience, and attention that I give my own Huskies and Samoyed every single day. Pet care is my full time focus, so your pet will receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks on both weekdays and weekends, and I can accommodate early mornings, evenings, and many last-minute requests. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet will be welcomed into a home with years of experience caring for active, large-breed dogs. I currently have two Huskies and a Samoyed, so I’m comfortable with high-energy dogs, different personalities, and maintaining consistent routines. I have a securely fenced yard, closely supervise all playtime, and can separate dogs if needed to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable. I follow each pet’s feeding schedule, medication instructions, and any special care requests, treating every dog like one of my own.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

“Kamila has been taking my Goldendoodle on walks while I am at work and has been so amazing! She communicates very well with me and has been so flexible with my nursing schedule. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone!!”

“Billie is so wonderful! We could not peacefully go to work without her help. Our dog is always happy when I get home and the house is always locked and secured after her departure. THANK YOU!”

“Theresa was punctual, responsive, and it was clear she loved our doggies. She had great communication during and after the walks and our dogs were well-taken care of. We will book with her again!”

About: I grew up on a farm with many dogs, cats, and other animals. In my adult life I have owned a cat, many dogs and a beta fish. I have worked and cared seniors, along with their animals, the last 6 years. I'm currently looking for a job so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I am single with no children or animals at home so I have a lot of flexibility to come to you. I will follow whatever instructions you give to me to take care of your animals. Also if I am staying in your home, I will respect all of your rules.
“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

About: For the past 4 years and counting I have always had a passion for the safety and well-being of all pets. I have always been surrounded by dogs and cats and want to share all the love with any pet regardless of their reactivity or love back for me. I always come with a smart and safe approach until the pup or cat can trust me. I’ve worked for a dog bar park and have professional dog walking experience here in KC where the skills not only improved me, but really made enjoy and appreciate the pet industry more. I can promise effective communication, love, patience, joy, appreciation and happiness with your pet; I want to give the same love from my own pets to yours! I push to make pet care my full time job, I have a strong and pure passion for pets all over the Kansas City area! Walks — I offer play dates at a safe environment with consent and communication with the owner as well as walks. If I have a reactive dog I ask for specifics of their triggers and then apply it to make their walk as safe as possible! At the end of their walk I am very descriptive and honest with my client! If a pup is a senior or puppy I would like to create a safe in home enrichment environment so that they can enjoy themselves! Sits — this all depends on the clients schedule for their pup for their day to day routine! I make it as comfortable for the pups as possible! My clients I currently do have, have fully trust me and the PUPdates they get from me are specific and detailed! They receive three updates per day! They are never worried or have to check in to see how their pup is doing!

About: Growing up I always had some sort of pet whether that be my bearded dragon, leopard gecko, cats, dogs, birds, all of it. I recently lost my disabled kitty but he taught me lots about medication administration, accessibility, and so many more things that are needed when working with a disabled or any kind of medical condition in pets. I now have a kitten and thankfully my childhood dog is still alive which I’m very grateful for. I’d love to spend time with your babies too! I live in Columbia because my boyfriend goes to Mizzou, but I currently am not working anywhere, so I can help you out anytime, anywhere:) I am very careful when it comes to pet safety. Like mentioned earlier my baby, Theo, is disabled as well as special needs. He takes medication and has to have certain accommodations around the apartment just for him. Making sure he is safe is a big priority as well as a big priority for your pet too!
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since I was younger than 10, with experience ranging from playful puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and attention. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide companionship for their pets. I’m comfortable with multiple breeds, different energy levels, and unique routines. My priority is keeping pets safe, happy, and loved while giving owners peace of mind. Whether it’s exercise, cuddles, or special care, I treat every pet like they’re my own. Hi, I’m Madeline! 🐾 I’m a stay-at-home mom to my sweet son, who recently started school, and I’m looking forward to filling my extra time with something I truly love: animals! I’ve always had a big heart for furry friends and believe every pet deserves patience, love, attention, and plenty of cuddles. 🐶🐱💕 As a pet parent myself, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Whether your pup needs a walk, a potty break, playtime, or just some company while you’re away, I’m happy to help! My goal is to make your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. 🐾💗
“Arrived to visits on time, took lots of pics, made sure food and water were filled, but most importantly, Gus enjoyed her and was comfortable with her!!! Will definitely hire Michaela again.”

About: As someone who grew up on a farm, I have experience caring for all kinds of animals, and I love them all. I’ve owned both cats and dogs, so whether you’ve got an energetic doggo that needs lots of movement, a homebody pup that loves cuddles, or a shy kitty who just wants someone’s presence nearby, I am happy to accommodate to offer them the care they need. I have provided lots of exercise enrichment for the dogs I’ve cared for. I genuinely enjoy walking, so it makes both of our days when your pup(s) loves walking too! I also run and would be happy to take your dog on a run if you’re looking to give them some extra exercise. If you’re looking for a friendly and trustworthy person who will treat your pets kindly and with love, please reach out! Are you going out of town? Working long hours? Having guests visit? Wanting more activity for your fur baby? Just need some extra help with pet care? I’d love to connect with you. I’m a part-time graduate student and have a flexible schedule right now, so I’d be happy to stop by for a walk or visit during the day, or stay with your pet if you’re away! I understand how important routine is to animals, and I am happy to accommodate your feeding, walking or bedtime routine to keep them feeling comfortable and cared for! Send me a message to let me know what your needs are and I’d be happy to discuss with you.
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.

“Dependable, knowledgable and kind are the key words I would use to describe Jennifer's service. She has cared for our puppy twice, both times she walked him with her own dog, fed him and played with him. I came home to find a happy content puppy. Thanks Jennifer!”

“Very pleased with the service provided. Received updated about Mack and he was treated very good. Also received a couple videos and photos that I appreciated. Alex and Jacquelynne are very nice and would use them again.”

“Our dog loves Rebecca’s house! He gets spoiled and constant attention from the whole family! We know he’s being taken care of while we are away and it’s the best peace of mind we could ask for while we are away from our special pup!”
