“Bridget has a warm personality and our two large dogs loved her immediately. She’s great at communicating and was very willing to work with us on establishing a system during dog walks. I will definitely be booking her again!”

“Sarah has walked my dog twice now, and I already have her booked for more visits this month. She has followed my directions perfectly and shown up on time both times. She takes photos of the visits and tracks her walk on the Rover app. She is easy to communicate with and seems incredibly reliable. I am so glad to have found her!”

“Grace did an amazing job with my dog Nova! I was quite nervous leaving Nova to go overseas on vacation as I have never spent much time away from her. Nova is a high drive dog who needs an experienced handler and a lot of exercise! Upon meeting Grace and hearing of her experience I immediately felt more secure. Grace is kind and responsible with an extensive background in animal care. Nova loved her from the get go as well. Thank you Grace! Knowing that my Nova was able to get some exercise and mental stimulation with someone I felt comfortable with allowed me to really relax and enjoy my vacation experience. You will be my first choice when the next vacation opportunity arises!”

About: I've been a dog mom for 18 years. My dogs have provided me with companionship, loyalty, joy, structure, and unconditional love over the years. My first dog, Angel, was a Beauceron mix with a blue tongue. She was my best friend, my protector, my shadow. I loved her fiercely. She went over the rainbow bridge three years ago at the age of 14. About a year before she passed, our Kai Ken/Mudi mix, Cody Coyote, joined the family as her companion. This past summer, Corgi pup, Michael, moved in. My son's first official dog. We take regular walks together and they are always making us smile and laugh. I know how special pup companions are and I would love to help you care for yours. Daily walks with my pups are very important for me and for them. I need the movement, and they need to smell. On the weekend, I have more time to walk more pups, check on them, give potty breaks, or feed them. My pups have a fenced in yard and are able to take regular potty breaks every two to four hours. We take walks after I get off work. My pups eat breakfast before I work and eat dinner when my family does. I am available on weekends to give your pup/s potty breaks every two to four hours, up to three walks a day, and feeding in your home.

About: Hi I am available to watch your fur babies/farm critters in your home and daily check ins. While your away I will treat your animals with love care and respect. Just as I would want my fur babies to be cared for. Long walks in nature, belly rubs, lots of attention and will keep you updated as often as you like. I have been helping care for dogs for many years. I have experience with lots of breeds ranging from tiny poodles to giant dobermans. I believe in patients and kindness with a firm alpha tone. If you have a farm I am happy to care for those animals.I have experience with horses, goats, cows, llamas, alpacas, pigs, ducks, geese chickens and sheep. Having a lot of animals myself I understand how hard it is to get away. We have four awesome dogs, four barn cats, chickens, ducks, sheep, pigs and one goat so far on our little homestead. I am at the farm full time with my son and all our animals. Except for when we are out checking on our fur friends I currently can not care for any more animals at my homestead farm. We are at capacity but I am happy to come to your home.

About: Approximately 18 years ago I saved 2 dogs from being euthanized that were living in cages in a FL landfill. Little did I know that it would set me on a path of wanting to rescue more. I moved to WA and started volunteering for several rescues and quickly discovered that it was my passion. I did a lot of long distance transports, fundraising events, fostering, and met a lot of great people along the way. I bought a home 7.5 years ago, because I wanted to start my own in home rescue. Since that time I have fostered 80 dogs, including 3 litters of large breed puppies. I recently had to take a huge cut in pay, and I have decided to do this as a means to close the gap, plus it's been sort of a goal for me...a semi retirement plan, perhaps. I can care for dogs of all sizes, temperament, and ages. Special needs are not a problem. I work 2pm to 10pm, 4 days on and 2 days off. My place of employment is only a few minutes away from my house, so I can come home and check on them, during my lunchtime. I also have a close and very trustworthy friend that lives down the street that can do extra check ins, if I feel like your pet needs it. I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention that he/she requires. I will care for your pet in your home as instructed. In my home they will have their own personal space, no contact with any other dogs for safety reasons. I believe in safety first, and I will never force your pet to do anything that it doesn't want to do. I'm am only a short term caregiver to them, and it's my responsibility to care for them with as much compassion and understanding as possible. I have a garage that is setup like a living room. A radio, television, webcam, couch, carpeting, and a 4x8x6 kennel, if needed. There's also fans, A/C, and heat...if needed. There's a doggie door with a 10x10 outdoor, covered kennel. I also have several high quality Retriver kennels (covered) on my concrete patio that I can make into a 10x20. 2 10x10s, or 4 5x10s. I have a huge yard and I live in a quiet residential neighborhood where I can take them for walks, if needed. I have a Great Pyrenees that is an escape artist, he can climb over a 10ft fence, and has even pulled the boards off my privacy fence, so my yard is very secure. The house/yard is surrounded by 4 webcams, as well as a webcam in the garage. Access can be provided to them while your pet is in my care. I also have a camper that I can spend overnight with your pet one on one, if they are struggling with being separated from you. House Sitting is turned off, but can be an option, and fees are adjusted based on your pet's individual needs. We can also do drop ins and dog walking within a 5 mile radius.

About: I’ve had pets in my life since I was 2 years old. My dog was my best friend from 2-16 yrs. I was raised on a mini farm and was lucky enough to care for horses, cows, pigs, chickens, several dogs, many cats and recently goats. Nothing brings me more happiness than being around our furry friends. Currently, we have 3 miniature poodle mixes, which we love beyond words. We recently adopted a St. Bernard/Pitbull mix. We have a big dog house 24’x12’ fully fenced to board big dogs. Medium 20 lbs to extra small dogs board/daycare inside our home. We offer an alternative to traditional boarding/daycare. Our dogs are family and guest dogs are welcomed to our family pack. Animals are my passion and bring me fulfillment and joy! Providing daycare and boarding is my profession. I worked a corporate job 35 years as a director in the health insurance field. After I was laid off I decided to not go back to the long hours and stress. Instead I dove head first into following my dream of opening a pet service business. I’ve taken my business experience and love for animals to the next level. I am excellent at following the care plan you give me. I want to take care of your pet as you would with as much love as I can give them. I understand the need for pet parents to travel or work knowing their pets are safe, exercised and loved. I offer a customized experience developed just for your dog.

About: I have three cats of my own, and have over 10 years of experience caring for animals. I've cared for dogs as small as chihuahuas, and as big as dobermans! I've also cared for cats, various birds, and reptiles. Your fuzzy friends are in great care with me, as they will get 100% of my love, care, and effort! Rover is my full time commitment, and I always prioritize this over any other job I may take. I am open to do same day bookings sometimes, and have my own car and can travel a bit. I know that all pets have boundaries. Some are more skeptical of strangers than others. If I take care of your pet in your home, I will make sure to not make your animal uncomfortable with the presence of a new person by giving them the space and time they need to warm up to me! I have been told i am a gentle person, so I believe that your pet will be perfectly fine with me! However, I have a sister who lives with me who has a cat that is not so nice with others. So, if you request me to house sit for your animal, I unfortunately cannot do so in my own home, it would have to be at your home. This is just to keep your fuzzy friends safe!

“Thomas was absolutely great! His communication was wonderful right off the gate and he arrived timely and was very personable and polite. Our dog is very powerful and she requires someone with the strength to reign her in… Thomas was perfectly qualified. We could not have been more pleased with him and give him our highest recommendation!”

“Tae’Lor has been fantastic to work with for repeated walks for our dog, Hazel! She is very kind and communicative, and takes great care of our pup. I’m very happy to have found Tae’Lor and excited to keep working with her.”

About: I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the pet owners for allowing me the privilege of being a part of your lives. Regrettably, I must inform you that my husband and I are moving to Florida to care of family. Each and every animal I have had the pleasure of caring for has touched my heart and will forever be cherished. Thank you once again, Phyllis Weaver My husband and I recently returned to Washington after an absence of 18 years. This was due to his 20-plus years of service in the military and our subsequent 13 years in Arkansas following his retirement. During our time in Arkansas, I made a significant contribution to Yellville, a small rural town, by establishing a no-kill animal shelter, as there was no shelter in the county at the time. The shelter continues to operate successfully. At the shelter, I performed every conceivable task, from administering vaccinations and medications to providing baths and cleaning up after the animals. This experience has instilled in me a deep commitment to providing your pets with the utmost care and attention. I am pleased to accept pets of any size or weight. Additionally, I am available to care for special needs dogs, including seniors, those with visual or hearing impairments, and those requiring extra care. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me, Phyllis Weaver My schedule has been wide open since being semi-retired, and my husband is fully retired. I love him to death. However, he drives me crazy sometimes. This is why I have time for your pets! When watching your animal(s) in your home I make sure that he/she feels safe and secure and well taken care of inside or outside when you are not present.

About: I have taken care of Cats for years. I had a Diabetic cat, I gave him insulin twice a day. I can give any medication, brush, play, and care for any cat. I also am very good with dogs. I am soft spoken and gentle, animals usually always connect and bond with me. I am pretty flexible, if there is communication I can be ready when needed. Honestly, animals are a priority. They're family and I want to be that reliable person for you and your fur baby. I could offer care in my home but I have 4 cats of my own, and a dog. I think in the clients home would be best for the comfort of the animal. I am probably the best person you could have in your home. I am extremely trustworthy and am there just to give quality care to your animal! I own a siding business with my family and do pet care whenever I'm needed. My schedule is usually very flexible as long as I get it on the calendar! I will do what the client is comfortable with. If you want your animals crated at certain times. I can do that. If you want them running free and getting cuddles, I can do that! I know how hard it is to trust someone in your home and with your animals. I am a very trustworthy person and can always send pictures and keep you updated and comfortable! I have even video chatted so a child would see her animals she was missing while on vacation!

About: Will keep the dog(s) entertained, fed, and cleaned up after. I take photos so I can even send some to you of your pets while with me. I hope they have a favorite toy or ball because we will be playing fetch or toss with each other. I like how each dog has their own personality that only comes out from spending time with them. So I’m excited to meet new friends and hopefully walk or sit them multiple times. I understand pets and respect them on a high level; which means I feel like your dog is your child. You won’t have to worry about if your dog is in good hands or not. I miss having a dog around my home. So I’m just looking to hang out with yours. Thanks in advance! :) This is my full time work. Please keep me busy, and know that I'll be happy to help. I have open availability at this time. I will make sure they are fed on time and let them outside to go to the bathroom. They are treated like family. Nothing but the best.

Mariah V.
“I highly recommend Mariah! I’ve worked with Mariah for years now (not entirely through rover- initially met her through word of mouth) and she has been very reliable. My doggo and kitty love her! She’s my go-to person whenever I want to take vacations or when anything comes up. My kitty loves anyone who feeds and pets her. What I love about Mariah though is she is especially considerate of my doggo’s little quirks and needs, and she understands the world of pet parenting as she has dogs herself. I trust her to stay in my home (she always makes it look better than when I left it). She’s always on time and conducts herself professionally. Most importantly, my doggo gets very excited whenever he see’s her so that says something. She takes him on many walks! It can be hard to find good and reliable people so I’m keeping this gem close to me. I hope my words can help others who are looking for a good pet sitter too! I would 10/10 highly recommend Mariah! Thank you Mariah for always being there and for loving my fur babies!”

Faye C.
“Faye is beyond wonderful with dogs! She runs her own rescue, and has a way with any temperament of dog. Her house and yard are set up specifically to accomodate different personalities/behaviors, and thanks to her escape artist dog, it has maximum security now! I trust Faye with my own animals, and know that they will be adored while she is watching them, and know that I will receive multiple updates on them to keep me feeling at ease :) I will always highly recommend Faye to anyone needing their dogs cared for. It is way more personal than leaving them at a boarding facility, and they will actually enjoy their time with her.”

Tammie W.
“I could not have asked for a better person than Tammie to take care of my 6 month old puppy. She is a very caring person and took excellent care of Piper, who is very active. While on vacation, she sent me plenty of pictures and videos to assure me all was going well. I would definitely recommend Tammie to anyone looking for a great pet sitter.”

Trinity H.
“Trinity is wonderful with animals and is a natural at ready their body language. My two labs who are 5 and 10 love to be around her and play with her. Trinity shows lots of care towards my older dog seeing as she can’t do as much as the younger and makes sure she is ok. Trinity also does really well with cats too. I highly recommend her to watch your pets.”

Jesse & Jasmine K.Star Sitter
“Jesse has taken care of my sweet boy, Milo, on multiple occasions. He is able to keep my 1.5 year old husky entertained and out of trouble. There aren’t too many people willing to go the extra mile for dogs, especially high energy ones like Milo. He provided me photo updates and timelines for Milo’s whereabouts and feeding times. I HIGHLY recommended Jesse’s services.”

Phyllis W.
“Great experience in taking care of my pets. Very trustworthy and treats my animals as if they are her own. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.”

Victoria L.
“She is very loving and caring for all animals she recently rescued chipmunk babies that had fallen down a cliff and ended up on the road. She found a wild animal rescue service and drove a hundred miles out of her way to take them to that rescue site. The chipmunks all survived and were released in the same location they were found. A profound love for animals and the desire to treat all animals as if they were her own.”
