“Fantastic experience! Christina is super dog knowledgeable and very responsive to questions. She's very careful about dog interactions and I felt good about leaving my boy here while going on a trip out of state. I got updates with beautiful pictures, and my dog had an exciting time playing with other dogs at camp. I felt bad taking him away from all his new friends when it was time to go home. Your pups are in good hands here!”

“Megan was great. She was very flexible with drop-off and pickup times, sent us plenty of pictures, and even sent us home with some homemade doggie treats. Would definitely recommend.”

“Jessica is amazing! She was incredibly flexible with schedule changes, provided tons of updates and pictures, even for a short stay. I can’t thank her enough for the peace of mind she is given me.”

“Really appreciate Alex watching our pup for the night. He's doesn't get along with most other dogs, but Alex had no issue keeping him separated from her dogs and handled his care with experience and ease. Nice to know he was in good hands! Thank you!”

“I am beyond grateful for Tonya. I was able to take a once in a lifetime vacation because Tonya was there for me. I have a 20 year old very needy pup who isn't easy to care for. She took such good care of him and my home, even while, my smoke alarms decided to beep the entire 8 days. She is a patient woman. I hope you are lucky enough to book her.”

“Marissa was fantastic! She went above and beyond for our dogs and took such good care of them. She sent photos every day. She took them for walks and swims and gave them extra love and the best care. She was extremely responsive, and I would give her 10 stars if I could! I hope to use her again in the future!”

“Max had a wonderful a stay with Eugene & Gale. They are warm friendly people who immediately made Max feel at home. Their dog Acadia is a friendly softie! We will definitely have Max go back!”

“Nathan was so good with my dog, Ella! I was in the planning stages of a tentative trip when I reached out to him and he really took the time to answer all my questions and even ask his own to ensure a successful stay for Ella. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and so kind in his communication from the planning stages, during Ella’s stay, to pick up. He has such a warm and calm demeanor that put both Ella and I at ease. At drop off, Ella and he were fast friends and he really took the time to get to know Ella and help make her feel welcome and comfortable. He sent regular updates and pictures the whole time so I never had to worry how she was doing. And she had an absolute blast! She’s not the easiest dog, she’s still working on a lot and has a ton of energy and he handled her impeccably. He mentioned he has experience with rescue dogs and that really shown through in his demeanor and connection with her. She felt safe and was her playful happy self when I picked her up. He was nice and organized and had her things in order and ready when I got there. He had given her a nice walk and some water right before knowing she had a decent car ride home. I was just so impressed. Will definitely be back. Cannot recommend Nathan enough!”

About: There has always been a dog, or two, in my home, and I wouldn't have it any other way! Your furry friend will be treated like family here! We go for walks a couple times a day, have shared or individual space, and have a dog door to a fenced in area throughout the day. Working from home, I am able to take the pups on walks at lunch and before and/or after work. They will have constant company throughout the day! I have a large yard to leash walk dogs, a finished/heated garage with a dog door to a fenced in area, so pups can go outside as they'd like between walks. I treat all animals as if they are my own; they are welcome on some furniture, have a warm and comfortable space, can meet dietary/medical needs, and will have multiple walks throughout the day.

“Alyx was wonderful to work with and we are very happy we found her! She was easy to communicate with and kept us updated on Lucy's stay with messages and pictures. We were nervous leaving Lucy with a new sitter but feel confident that she was well cared for and given lots of one-on-one attention in her time with Alyx. We definitely recommend her!”

“My dog loves her, very flexible”

“Maddie was great housesitting my dog! Baxter likes her alot and I am very glad. I was so relieved that everything was so neat and clean when I got home too.”

About: I had pets all through childhood and now I've got 4 dogs and 8 indoor cats plus some chickens and ducks. We also have 2 children who adore animals. My skills with pets is heating what they are saying and getting on their level, or giving them space o If needed. I am on short term disability due to medical issues of the autoimmune variety so I am home all the time! I can let dogs out when needed and play with cats. I have lots of availability. I have a fenced in backyard for the dogs (6 foot high wire fence), crates, kennels, rooms that can be shut off from the house, etc. Our animals can also be sectioned off if necessary for the stay.

“Caroline was amazing with my dog!! I could tell she genuinely cared about my dog and I appreciated all the pictures she took of him and sent to me. I’m glad she was able to bond with him and liked the fact she only took one dog at a time. I will 100% use her again moving forward. She even will pick up your pet from your apt which was super convenient when traveling and coordinating work priorities.”

“Katie was fantastic! My dog and her dog got along really well. It's a good deal, and she gave my dog a bag and homemade biscuits when we left.”

“Our pup enjoyed fun adventures, and we enjoyed regular updates.”

“I was anxious about leaving my dog with someone else for the first time in a new state. Kelly went over and above the call of duty to make sure i felt in the loop. She came home tired and happy!”

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! Note: I am very flexible with pricing. If my rates seem too high, feel free to reach out anyway and I'll be happy to see see what we can work out. 😊 I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my adult life I have branched out, first with Rover a few years ago, and then with expanding farther into launching my private pet care business at the beginning of 2024 while still maintaining my presence on Rover. My client base is steadily growing and I am excited to see where this venture takes me! I am reliable and committed to providing excellent service for my clients. If you want a pet caretaker you can count on who will treat your animals as well as their own, I'm your gal! I work part time as a BHP and I try to be as flexible as possible. My schedule changes depending on the time of year. Currently I work with my human client from 7:15 am - 8:15am and 2:30pm - 5:30pm on weekdays and am off on weekends. I take care of animal clients all days of the week. Please message me and I'll do my best to work something out. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, bad things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dog around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety.

About: I'm a genuine dog lover! I've always trained my dogs on basic tricks and commands.I'm aware that dogs have their own personalities, fears, and strengths. I work part-time. I have a flexible schedule. I'm open to having dogs in my house throughout the week and some weekends, if needed, and also just walks. I don't have a fenced yard. However, I will be with them out in my yard to assure a safe environment. I'll take them hiking or for walks around my area. They are welcome inside my house to sleep and rest.

About: After nearly nine years together we lost our beloved rescue doggie last summer. We miss the companionship, but we are not ready to make a full time commitment to another pet. Doggie-sitting your special pet seems like the perfect way to satisfy my desire for a four-legged companion. I work in a school so I have the summer off and will have lots of flexibility once the summer begins. This will allow me to be very attentive to your pet for a day, a night, or while you take a few days of vacation. Our in-town location is great for long or short walks and our home is very pet friendly. All of the members of our household are dog lovers so your pet will get all the loving attention it needs and more. We look forward to meeting your doggie!
