About: I have two cats at home and frequently pet-sit for friends & neighbors in the area. I have always had at least one cat in my home, and at one point lived with two miniature Australian Shepherds. I’m currently working part-time and have plenty of time in my schedule. I typically work 5 hours per day, 3-5 days per week, sometimes weekends. I am accustomed to following meal and medication schedules for pets, as well as monitoring a cat on a leash outside or walking a dog twice per day. When walking dogs, I stick to the established route and avoid other dogs.

It was so nice to know how the dogs were doing and to know when she would be leaving them even if for a short time. She never left them longer than what we asked they be left alone, which we have had previous issues with. She also did amazing at leaving our house cleaner than we left it, without an expectation of that. If our friends or family are unable to watch our dogs again we will definitely be using Melody, we trust her as much as our friends and family!”

About: I started taking care of animals when I was really young I think around 6 years old I would take care of my neighbor's dog was a little Pomeranian when they would go places. Also my neighbor had a Irish setter that I would go visit all the time and she would give me a dollar to walk her around the block or talking at least 48 years ago and I still remember it to this day it was one of the best times in my life when I was young. I think I've decided that I want to dedicate my life to this I mean what's left of it anyway lol I've been working with people most of my life and I thought I'd give this a try so daily routine and weekly routine would be up to the customer and it would be your preference after all you're the boss right? I've been a caregiver since 1998 of people I had five background checks last year for the state of Oregon I work for Oregon health Care commission and I'm a caregiver I passed five of them so you would not have to worry about me being in your home I would offer the services that you were requesting and you would also go beyond even more than what you would expect I think I would be a good fit with for anybody I'm an older lady and I've got a lot of grandchildren so I figured taking care of your for a babies and I would treat them like my grandbabies or you would say fur babies. Customer would be my boss so therefore I would do what they would ask.

About: I am responsible, attentive, reliable, ask questions when I need any clarification, willing to administer medication and have, and people will often keep me as a first choice when the next time they need a pet sitter comes along. My weekly schedule is very flexible right now as I am a student at Oregon State University. When school starts in the fall my schedule will be less available but still flexible depending on needs. My pets I take care of by regularly walking them, feeding them, bathing them, taking them to their vet appointments. I also clean the litter box and give them plenty of love.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets. For over twenty years, friends, families, business associates and everybody's been happy and i'm even animal cpr trained I am currently not working. Uh, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets playing with them. I have six acres, and i'm always outside with the dog, so never outside alone. I have a partially fenced yard. I have 6 acres, and I have trails through the property. But I never let the dogs go out by themselves. I always walk them through my property at least four times a day.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents raised and trained wirehaired pointing dogs, which gave me an early introduction to dog behavior, training, and responsible pet care. Today, our home is shared with five dogs and two cats, giving me hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs. Our pets range from young adults to seniors, including a senior Chihuahua, a spirited Chiweenie, a 120-pound Boxer/Mastiff mix who still thinks he’s a lap dog, and two rescued littermates with unique backgrounds and endless affection. Because of this, I am comfortable caring for pets at many different life stages—from energetic younger animals to senior pets who may require extra patience, monitoring, and specialized care. I have experience with medication administration, basic grooming, nail trimming, bathing, litter box maintenance, and recognizing when something may be off with a pet’s health or behavior. Most importantly, I understand that every pet is an individual. Whether they want to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax in their favorite spot, I strive to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care that helps them feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. ❤️🐾 I currently work 8 to 5 Monday through Thursday. However, if need be, I can come in before work, after work and anytime of the day Friday through Sunday. Our dogs have a huge yard to play in, cozy beds to sleep in and get special treats a few times a week. There is never a shortage of pets and cuddles with 7 animals.

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and small animals for over 5 years and have hands-on experience with large breeds, working dogs, reactive dogs, and high-energy personalities. I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I’m comfortable with crate routines, medication administration, basic training reinforcement, long walks, litter box care, feeding routines, and reading animal body language. My professional background in high-stress environments has also made me calm, dependable, detail-oriented, and communicative. I know how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone else, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. During visits, I focus on more than just feeding and potty breaks — I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, playtime, affection, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to routines, behavioral cues, and making animals feel safe and relaxed in their home environment. Safety, structure, and trust are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I have experience with large breeds, reactive dogs, cats, and small animals, so I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and maintaining calm, controlled interactions. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. I prioritize secure handling during walks and visits, double-check doors, gates, harnesses, and crates, and always aim to create a calm and positive environment for pets. I also believe communication is important, so I provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins to help owners feel comfortable while they’re away.
