About: Experience with small and large birds, cats and multiple dog breeds. We are a family of four who love animals of all kinds. I’m Amanda, the daughter of a pet store owner and animal advocate. I grew up with dogs, cats and many exotic animals in my home. Pat, dad to our velcro kitty has experience with large dogs. We have two daughters. A teenager and an almost teenager. Both share the same passion for animals that we do and have experience in dog training. We share our home with Ruby, our tiny toy poodle with a big personality, Mavis and Shadow, rescue cats who love to eat and relax in a sunny window and Luna the lovebird who loves to play peek-a-boo. One of us is home all day Thursday-Sunday so there is plenty of time to dedicate to cuddles, enrichment and exercise! Monday- Wednesday can be arranged with a bit of notice. Our pets are well loved and spoiled. We’d love to spoil your babies too! Our yard is unfenced, so dogs will be on leashes or on a run when outside. Comfortable with crating, gating or free range of the house. There is plenty of room for everyone to have space separately or together. Happy to do drop-ins for walks, feeding or playtime!

I met with Melisa a couple of times prior to our trip away, so that Annie could get acquainted with her and her home where Annie stayed for over a week. Melisa has a warm inviting home with a fenced in backyard. I had no doubts that Annie would be loved on while we were away. I got lots of updates and photos of Annie playing, going on walks, napping and snoozing. Melisa is very organized and a pleasure to work with. “Overall, Holly was an exceptional host to my dog slate and she definitely went above and beyond. What I loved is that Holly set up a meet and greet and when my dog slate and I arrived there, you could tell that she had a genuine love and affection for dogs and cared for them just like family. Not only was the initial meeting great for my dog and Holly but Holly and I were able to build good rapport that gave me a sense of security in knowing that I could trust her with my fur baby. I enjoyed that Holly and her family have a beautiful property and beautiful surrounding environments that any dog who hasn't had that experience to play in a lot of land or to go hiking in the woods would find themselves in store for a great time and new adventures. Additionally my dog got to meet alof of Holly very kind family and friends and had a great time socializing. My dog's Slate is six years old, and I told holly that I had been working on some stuff with him and she was very accommodating to that and very understanding to any of the needs that my dog has. Slate ended up staying with Holly for three days and during those three days, Holly made sure that I had no shortage of pictures to receive and updates from my dog. She made sure that I was okay with the updates that she was giving me and I assured her that I loved the communication and encouraged it as any pet parent would, I just wanted to make sure that my puppy was okay and that he was treating Holly and her family well. Again I could not recommend Holly highly enough because the experience was amazing and my dog came back just as happy, if not more than when he left because of all the experiences they took him on. Holly and her family are communicative, sweet, friendly, and overall, just a great family to leave your fur baby with and have complete trust that they will be in good hands.”

About: I’ve had dogs for 30+ years and now I’m retired with no dogs so have room for yours. I am gentle and playful as well as responsible and active. I do not take cats, sorry. I watch our daughter’s dog on occasion but would not watch him at the same time. I had a lovely chihuahua for 16 years, and a husky, as well as a fluffy white mixed pup, all healthy and happy and had their senior years with us as well. I’m retired and home all day doing eBay and other hobbies. I also take daily walks and would take your dog out often as well. I have a large fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. I am also home a lot and allow the small dogs to jump up in my lap and furniture.

“Our son was getting married in upstate NY so we needed a sitter for our dog Kai while we were away. We have always left Kai with either family or friends, but since everyone we knew was attending the wedding I reached out to Laura. We set up a meet and greet -I knew from the first time I met her that she was a perfect match. She was warm and kind - obviously a dog lover - and she made a connection with our normally shy dog right away. She asked a lot of questions about Kai's habits - she wanted to make sure she followed his normal daily routine so that he would be comfortable in her home.. Her house is beautiful and she has a large, fenced in back yard that allowed Kai to run free in a safe environment. Laura took him for a 3 mile daily walk, and sent many pictures and updates the whole 6 days she had him. He became a part of her family❤️ I cannot say enough about how happy we were to have found her. She gave us peace of mind that Kai was well loved and cared for so we were able to enjoy the wedding without any worries. I would HIGHLY recommend Laura to anyone looking for a sitter!!”

About: With over 2 decades of hands-on experience, I have taken care of most breeds of dog, many cats, fish, reptiles, and birds as well! I have an older sister who is a veterinarian and she has passed down care tips essential for perfect pet care. I worked in a dog kennel for three years and was in charge of 20+ dogs and cats a day, their feeding schedules, play groups, medications, and decent and basic care such as baths and grooming. Mornings are filled with cuddles, complete feedings, morning walks, and kisses before my partner and I head off to work. While at work, pets are in a climate controlled environment with multiple cameras on at all times. Water is placed in every room, and safe secluded areas can also be provided. Given I have my own pets, their care is my #1 priority. I have cameras with motion sensor notifications allowing me to check in frequently, and do not work far from my home incase an animal needed immediate attention. Pets are always given attention ad soon as the work day is finished, and spending time with them is always a joy!
