About: I’ve been a pet sitter for 10 years and a trusted member of Rover for 8. I absolutely love all dogs, cats, or any little creature. Animals are my passion and I don’t intimidate easily nor would I ever allow a pet to be mistreated! When watching each pet I take care of them like I would take care of my own family member and worry about them like they are my own child. I truly love them because they are just innocent babies. This will all be taken care of before the visit. Every pet and family are different and I’ve found that a schedule is custom to every visit. In a client's home, I strive to maintain the pet's usual routine to minimize stress. This includes following specific feeding schedules, walking routes, and any medication regimens precisely as instructed. I also make sure to keep the home tidy and secure, respecting the space while ensuring the pet's comfort and safety. I prioritize open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their beloved pet is in good hands. This customized care ensures that every pet receives the attention and love they deserve, regardless of the setting.

I also walk them in the mornings and evenings and love to play with them. I personally don't have a dog as I am a college student so when I get to take care of other peoples animals I treat them as if they were my own ❤️ I have a guinea pig named Gracie whom my friends say is the most spoiled guinea pig in the world :) and I am also an avid fish owner currently I have a South American Flowerhorn Cichlid named Oscar The Grouch, Four African Cichlids, a Blood Parrot and a Jack Dempsey. I have 16 year experience pet sitting and babysitting and feel comfortable watching a variety of animals . Why I love dog sitting All my life I have loved all sorts of animals including dogs. I personally don't own a dog as I'm a college student and don't feel it would be fair to them at this time, so I just love on everyone else's. About: Hello! I have interacted with dogs for most of my life and currently have three pets that I consider to be my own and is spoiled as such! I am a veteran and a current full-time student and enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood and exploring new areas. I have always had a love for all animals. I take pride in everything that I do so rest assured that your pup (or kitty) will be in good hands. There are multiple trails and parks in the area that I would be happy to take your dog to. My own dog is high-energy so I take multiple walks throughout the day and have multiple toys and treats that he doesn't mind sharing :) If your dog is a couch potato, that's ok too! I am flexible to the needs of the individual. Currently working part time from Thurs-Sun in the evenings and am only gone 5 hours. Once school starts back up I will only be working part-time Friday and Saturday. I let my own dogs roam free. I do have a cat and the litter box is in my closet so if your pet likes getting into things they would only be allowed in the living room. I can take dogs that are not cat-friendly as I have family that could take the cat for those days. I take direction from clients if I am visiting their home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
