About: I’ve been a pet sitter for 10 years and a trusted member of Rover for 8. I absolutely love all dogs, cats, or any little creature. Animals are my passion and I don’t intimidate easily nor would I ever allow a pet to be mistreated! When watching each pet I take care of them like I would take care of my own family member and worry about them like they are my own child. I truly love them because they are just innocent babies. This will all be taken care of before the visit. Every pet and family are different and I’ve found that a schedule is custom to every visit. In a client's home, I strive to maintain the pet's usual routine to minimize stress. This includes following specific feeding schedules, walking routes, and any medication regimens precisely as instructed. I also make sure to keep the home tidy and secure, respecting the space while ensuring the pet's comfort and safety. I prioritize open communication with pet owners, providing updates and photos to reassure them that their beloved pet is in good hands. This customized care ensures that every pet receives the attention and love they deserve, regardless of the setting.

Julia was great! We needed someone to take care of our dog at TAMU during our son's jazz concert, and this worked perfectly. Mysa was very happy at the end of the walk, and this saved us from boarding her or having her stay alone for 11+ hours. Plus our son got to see his dog! Thank you Julia!

Caring for others is a huge part of my daily life, and I bring that same level of attention and compassion to pet care. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply some extra attention and companionship, I will treat them like a member of my own family. As a teacher and coach, I have a structured and dependable schedule that allows me to provide consistent pet care. During the school year, I am available for morning, evening and weekend dog walks and drop in visits. During school breaks, holidays, and summer vacation, I have additional flexibility and availability throughout the day. I understand how important routine is for pets and I am committed to providing reliable, attentive care. Whether your pet needs a walk, feeding, playtime, or a quick check in while you’re away, I will make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. Your pets safety and well-being are always my top priorities. During walks and drop-in visits, I carefully follow each owners instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and any special needs their pet may have. About: Hello! I have interacted with dogs for most of my life and currently have three pets that I consider to be my own and is spoiled as such! I am a veteran and a current full-time student and enjoy taking walks around the neighborhood and exploring new areas. I have always had a love for all animals. I take pride in everything that I do so rest assured that your pup (or kitty) will be in good hands. There are multiple trails and parks in the area that I would be happy to take your dog to. My own dog is high-energy so I take multiple walks throughout the day and have multiple toys and treats that he doesn't mind sharing :) If your dog is a couch potato, that's ok too! I am flexible to the needs of the individual. Currently working part time from Thurs-Sun in the evenings and am only gone 5 hours. Once school starts back up I will only be working part-time Friday and Saturday. I let my own dogs roam free. I do have a cat and the litter box is in my closet so if your pet likes getting into things they would only be allowed in the living room. I can take dogs that are not cat-friendly as I have family that could take the cat for those days. I take direction from clients if I am visiting their home.

About: I have worked with animals my whole life. I absolutely adore animals, any animals! I use to work with my aunt at the clinic she works at helping her care, feed, water, clean and play with the animals that would board there. I also help her with the animals that she fosters. I do lots of research on animals and learn how to handle them and care for them. I am pretty acknowledged with animals. I know different types of breeds and their behaviors and the care they need. I would be an awesome candidate to care for your animals because I would love and treat them as my own and put their needs above mine, it would be a dream to care for any and all of your animals! Please don't hesitate to ask me anything! I am available anytime to help you and your animals! I absolutely love caring for animals and it’s all I want to do! I have a pretty flexible schedule at the moment. I live in an apartment that is fenced in and on the bottom floor so your pet will be very safe! I do home visits as well!

About: While I too enjoy traveling I know how it can be when you can’t take your 4 legged family member(s) with you. I have 2 of my own Lionhead )fluff ball) bunnies of my own. I love fur babies of all breeds, shapes and sizes. While I don't have a dog or cat due to my hubbies allergies. I do love them all. Most of my friends or family have dog(s)/cat(s) and they all seem to love me and want my attention when I visit family and friends. When I 1st moved to Dallas my friend needed someone to let her dog out a couple times of day due to her long work hours. I was there to let Jackie out to potty and socialize. I became his Auntie Robin. Now every time I go to visit my friend he thinks I'm there for him and walk and play time. Of course I do this as he is so loveable I'm happy to go for a walk and play with my fur friend while visiting with my friend. I recently cared for my neighbors large and small dogs, 2 cats and a bird on a last minute need while they went away for the holiday weekend. I did home visit twice a day as requested. I would spend 30-45 minutes at the home as the owners requested. The dogs knew me & I was like family. They were happy to see me. I feed them, played with them, let them out to potty and gave appropriate treats for good behavior. My last day they dogs laid on top of me like I was their family. The dogs also listened to me when it was time to kennel them even though they didn't want to go in they did. I currently volunteer for the past 12 years with a domestic rabbit rescue. I go out to the rescue when I can to help, feed, care for special needs bunnies, clean up them yard/x-pens where the bunnies are housed. I give medication when needed. Including medication by means of oral, drops and shots. Including helping with the rescue I also foster bunnies in my home in addition to my 2 fur babies of lionhead bunnies. One of which can be seen in my pictures. Pet sitting/house sitting is my primary job. I enjoy spoiling my pets along with my clients pets. This makes my clients able to enjoy holiday or work trips without worry. As I make sure to treat the clients pet like my own and give lots of love and care like their human. Every pet not matter if my pet, friends, family or a client is an important part of my life when I’m with them. I make sure they know I’m there for them and I will love and care for them at all times.

About: I have always been around dogs since I was little but I have officially dog sat for about 7 years. I grew up with all different types of dogs, so I am able to get along with many different breeds. I have also watched cats, horses and donkies and am willing to learn how to watch any other animal. When I would watch the dogs I would go to their house to feed, water, and let the dogs out as needed. I am willing to do anything with the dogs that is in their normal routine of their days. I am a teacher and nanny so I have different hours day to day but willing to work it out with you. And during the summers my schedule can be a lot more open.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Oak Grove. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Oak Grove.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Oak Grove. On Rover:

  • 90% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 99% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
