“Alyssa was absolutely amazing beyond expectations. She cared for our 2 pups and our cat. Great communication and true care for our babies. Would highly recommend and when needed Will definitely ask for help again. A+++”

“After meeting with Maureen I knew she is someone that I could trust with my babies and my house. She was on-time and took good care of my dogs. Communication was just right which allowed me to enjoy my evening away. I now feel like I have someone can trust. Thank you Maureen, "You're the best".”

“Bethany was amazing!! Communication was stellar, our puppers seemed oh so comfortable and in-routine. My little worry wart heart was fully able to enjoy our night out. 10/10 can’t recommend Bethany enough.”

“Taylor was very good with Hunter. He had a couple of skin infections and she was on top of it! He had a trip to the vet and a trip to the ER. She made sure he had his medicine, daily exercise, food and water, and made sure he wore the dreaded cone. Taylor took very good care of him. Taylor gave us daily updates and pictures of Hunter. If she had a question, she asked. Taylor also stayed at our house. She treated it as her own. Everything was in order when we came home. Bedding (ours and Hunters) was washed. We were very pleased with the care Taylor gave Hunter and our home.”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! I know my babies were in great hands and were loved beyond belief. Stephanie has the ability the juggle multiple pet sittings as once! She will take extra care of your animals as if they are her own. She sent pictures the whole time so I could see their furry faces! She will constantly make sure you are updated and in the loop and has a fast response time. She even went so much as to empty our garbage and empty the litter box even though she did not have to. 10/10 recommend and will be rebooking so my babies can see Auntie Steph!!”

“We’re so happy with Brooke taking care of our fur baby, Maggie Mae! She’s absolutely amazing for overnight stays—we trust her completely in our home, and everything is always just as we left it. On top of that, she’s gone above and beyond for us. While we were away, she graciously was willing to deal with roofers and show them exactly where the leak was—such a huge help! Also, Brooke is incredibly accommodating and understanding, especially when our travel plans shift due to airline delays or cancellations. She sends plenty of pictures (which we love, because we miss our Mags!) and is always super communicative, positive, and reliable. Highly, highly, highly recommend! We are thankful for her.”

“Stephanie was amazing with my girls. She took care of them. Sent a ton of pictures and went above and beyond with their care. I highly recommend using Stephanie for your fur babies.”

“Jason was wonderful, patient with our anxious dogs. We lost both our sitters as they moved. So we’re working on finding new sitters. At first our little one was very scared and vicious.. Jason gave him treats and won him over in no time. He just stayed the day, but definitely call him again. He’s definitely a dog whisperer.👍💜🐾”

“Hailee did a great job with our two dogs and cat while we were gone for almost a week. She responded to messages and kept me updated when I checked in. One of my neighbors met her outside with our dogs and said she could tell my babies loved Hailee which just makes my heart happy. When we returned, our house was just as I left it. Thank you for being there for us and our family on pretty short notice when our other sitter fell through. I think we ended up with exactly who we were supposed to.”

About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner for 10 years, I’m now embarking on a new chapter after 24 wonderful years in Chicago. Following a long career in advertising sales, I’m seeking a slower-paced, more fulfilling path — one that lets me combine my reliability with my love for animals. At 49, I bring maturity, responsibility, and genuine care to every pup I watch, ensuring your they are looked after as if they were my own. Also, the doodle you see in some pics is my amazingly chill, gets along with every living thing, sidekick Lambeau. So please note your dog(s) must be okay with other dogs. I'm currently taking some time off and won't be going back to remote work until the fall '26, at the earliest. So I'm very flexible with my time at the moment. I live in an apartment complex (2 bed / 2 bath) with a huge unfenced grassy area off my lanai, that Lambeau and I call our own backyard. I also live across the street from John Chesnut park, in the Tarpon Woods area so Lambeau and I spend lots of time at that huge dog park and/or exploring the various trails. So if you're open to that as well, I'll gladly take your pup(s) over there for some adventures.
“Lydia and Emmitt took such good care of my little guy! They provided pictures and daily updates. They reiterated how they provided meals, walks, and medications in their communications. They put me at ease and allowed me to focus on work. I came home to a clean home and happy dog! I highly recommend (unless it's when I need them again!) Lol!”

“Linda is wonderful! She truly loves dogs. She treated Flo like her own. We canceled this bokking once because of Hurricane Milton then rebooked after the storm had passed and we made it through unscathed. Linda, however, had lost power at her house. We will definitely book with Linda again-- if she is available! She is understandably in high demand.”

About: Hi, I’m Alex! I’ve been caring for ALL types of animals since I was a kid, and it’s something I truly love! I have 2 cats of my own, regularly dogsit German Shepherds for a close friend, and occasionally volunteer with the Humane Society of Pinellas. Having worked with pets of all ages, from bottle babies to seniors with special needs, my best approach is to calmly match energy. Patience is more than key, and I will always respect each animal’s unique personality and nonverbal boundaries. Pet care is my full-time job! Working with animals and supporting my community are truly my passions. I’m very savvy with time management and love keeping my schedule steady, reliable, and flexible for my clients. Unless we discuss otherwise, I typically spend 30–40 minutes at each drop-in to give your pets proper attention and care without ever rushing. Weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests are always welcome! Even if my calendar shows I’m booked, still feel free to reach out. Further distances and specific circumstances may incur additional fees, which will always be disclosed before confirming. Caring for pets in their own home helps them feel safe and secure in a familiar space. With my own animals at home, this setup also works best for me! I focus on maintaining your pet’s usual routines and paying close attention to their comfort, body language, and any changes in behavior. A calm, familiar environment is essential for building an organic, trusting relationship between new human and pet!
Oak Forest Of Countryside pet parents share their Rover experiences
I am beyond satisfied with the care, dedication and love Mason gave my kitties while I was away. There was daily communication. He sent plenty of pictures. My boys were in good spirit when I returned (cats will let you know if they were not happy while you’re gone! - iykyk). I have found my go to person for my babies!!! Thank God!! Please book Mason - you will not be disappointed!!

Stephanie is absolutely wonderful and took such great care of our dog Summit! She went above and beyond for us while we were out of the country ! I truly can’t say enough amazing things about her and has become like family to us. She’s extremely reliable, common, and treats your pet as if her own. She sent tons of pics so we wouldn’t miss her too much while gone. We will use her again in a second on our next trip away ❤️

Lydia and Emmitt took such great care of my two dogs! Annie can be difficult and has anxiety but they handled her so well. They came 4 times a day and stayed for an hour each time. They sent pictures and updates every day. I enjoyed my vacation more knowing that Bishop and Annie were well cared for.

I know my dog Pickles is in great hands when Richi comes to pet sit for him. Pickles loves lots of attention and love and Richi is so caring and always sends me photos to enjoy. I highly recommend these two pet lovers for times we need to be away from our fur babies.

Lydia was an amazing dog sitter! I was heading on vacation and couldn’t bring Chico along, so I turned to Rover and found Lydia. From our very first conversation, I knew she was the perfect fit—and Chico immediately adored her. While I was away, she kept me updated with plenty of pictures and videos, and it was clear he was having a wonderful time. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Jace was fantastic! She did 2 short visits before our trip to get to know our 3 kitties, including one that was still in the integration process. One of our cats has a special diet as well. She was very responsive and sent my wife plenty of photos and videos. We can tell our cats liked her and we will book her for our upcoming out-of-town time when we go to a wedding. She went above and beyond and because of her study situation online, she was able to be at our home about 18-20 hours per day, which replicates our schedule working almost entirely from home. If you think to book her, do it. You will not regret your decision.
