About: While growing up, I fed, watered, played with, and walked our family friends. I even picked up poop! As an adult, I've done it all, from cleaning major messes to administering meds. I love canines and felines of all varieties, from the smallest to the largest! I am available to care for your pet(s) throughout the business day. Although I am also doing some volunteer work, I keep a regular schedule. I will care for your pets according to your express instructions. They will be treated as my own with as much love and concern as I can provide.

About: I have grown up around animals and when I was 6 years old my family adopted our first dog. Since then, I have understood the importance around having an animal in your life, yet also the responsibility it brings with it. At the age of 12 I joined my sister in her dog walking business. Each day we would walk our neighbors dogs after school whilst making sure they went potty and were properly cared for via instructions given to us. As we grew older we started to watch them over night on weekends, and go with our neighbors to places where they needed help with their dogs. Dogs are not just pets…they are family. I have used that time as a dog walker to grow my own personal experience watching other families pets. I have since watched one family’s two dogs for three summers in a row due to the amount of trust and loyalty I have built with them. I can take care of any type of dog that you may have. Small, medium, large; young, adult, senior. It does not matter to me. I love them all and would enjoy watching as well as taking care of them. I am currently working part-time at Kent State University as a Graduate Assistant. The most time I spend in my office is about 4-6hrs per day. On the weekends I am home in Chardon. I will be able to accommodate your animals needs if needed on the weekends, and during the week. I will be home for the summer, but I will be moving down to the Kent area in the fall I always make sure that I meet the dog before I ever start taking care of them. As for walks, I would be sure to give them love before and after long walks. If I were to stay with them, I would ensure the pet and I would have time to play, go potty and a walk, as well eat dinner together so a bond and trust would be built. The pet would stay at their house so they wouldn’t be scared in a new setting.

About: I grew up with dogs and as a kid, I took care of neighbor's dogs from time to time when they were away. My wife loves dogs as long as they belong to someone else. We have cats but I need to do something like this to get some time with dogs. I just retired from teaching after 31 years in the job. I go for walks every day and I thought why not walk with a dog. I am not able to watch dogs at my house. I have a geriatric cat that would probably have a heart attack. I am primarily looking to walk dogs, but I could dog sit over night at the client's house in a pinch.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. When a couple of years ago we lost our senior family dog, I started volunteering with a local rescue and have fostered 20+ puppies over the past few years. Fostering has given me experience with everything from energetic, playful pups to post-surgery care—things like baths, basic grooming, medications (even injections), vet pickups, and lots of patience and love. I also help neighbors with dog walking and pet sitting, so I’m used to different personalities and routines. I truly just love being around dogs—and getting outside for walks is a bonus for me too! I’m available for afternoon and evening walks or check-ins during the week. On weekends, I have much more flexibility and I am available throughout the day for walks, check-ins, or multiple visits if needed. I’m also happy to stick to your dogs’s usual routine to keep them comfortable and happy. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. During walks and check-ins, I follow your instructions closely, keep dogs secure on leash, and make sure they get the right balance of exercise, attention, and care. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like my own.

About: Since I was 11 years old putting dog walking flyers on my neighbors porches, I have always had a passion for taking care of animals. I still have people contacting me to cat or dog sit for them, and they love to recommend me to their friends. I love animals, and I know how to handle them safely and responsibly. From working with horses to dolphins, I have been around many different animals. I have owned reptiles and guinea pigs as well as dogs and cats, I have been working with and riding horses since 2018, and every summer since around 2020 I have gone to the Florida Keys and learned about training dolphins, I have aged out of that program now. I also volunteered at an animal shelter when I was younger. I am looking for a job to use my skills with animals. I work at a veterinary practice for a large animal veterinarian currently on Wednesdays and Fridays. I am looking for another job that I can work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I can also do weekends if you are looking for someone who will stop by and take care of your animal for 30 minutes to an hour, but I like to have time on my weekends to spend with my loved ones, so the activities that take longer I would like the save for weekdays. I promise to love and take care of your animal as if it is my own until their favorite person comes back! I have my own reliable transportation, I can take your dog to a dog park if it is dog friendly, or I have a lot of land at my house. I also could take it to any walking paths. I know how to handle animals of all temperaments, and I am a good communicator and will keep you updated. I would love the opportunity to take care of your animal! I work at a veterinary practice part time on Wednesdays and Fridays and I generally start early in the morning around 7, and it’s a 40 minute drive. My hours can vary but I’m usually done sometime before 4pm. I can do drop by visits on those days early in the morning and after 5pm. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, I can do dog walking, dog sitting, or doggy day care at my house! Anything that generally takes a decent amount of time I can do on those days. On the weekends, I can do house visits for 30 minutes to an hour, but I would like to keep my weekends open as much as possible to spend time with friends and family and go to the barn. I have my own cat as well as 4 other cats, an english bulldog, and a french bulldog owned by my boyfriend’s family that I live with. I generally feed and take care of my cats and the other cats, but I used to pet sit for them and took care of their dogs as well. As far as caring for animals in my own home, I live on 8 acres of land, some of which is a field blocked off by tree line that would be a perfect place to play. I also have a fenced in concrete and grass area for the dogs to use the restroom. I have crates in my house where I can separate dogs if needed. I also know of lots of places to walk dogs, and live by a couple of dog parks. As for care in a clients home, I have lots of experience. I can do litter boxes, feed and water animals, and give enrichment and treats if requested by the owner. I can also let dogs outside on leash, or in a fenced in backyard. I’d rather be safe than sorry, so I avoid taking a dog off leash if they do not have a fenced in or secluded area. I can take them on walks around your neighborhood as well. I am also willing to take care of exotic animals or livestock, as I have plenty of background in that as well.

I have a very sweet dog of my own (his name is Cooper and he gets along very well with other dogs, if your dog ever likes playing/walking with other dogs). He is full of energy, so I am used to long walks and lots of play time. I am also willing to run with your dog if you want / if they enjoy that! I have experience with puppies, special needs dogs, and older dogs. Feel free to leave special instructions so that your pup gets the best care possible. My skill ranges from walks to grooming, I’ve got you covered! Currently, I’m working full-time with free availability Sunday through Tuesday! I currently am a full-time teacher during the school year from 7:30-3. However, I am available after 3 PM and all day on the weekends. I am very interactive with pets and love to play with them! I also love to go on walks and am very active, so I love active pets! I am incredibly responsible and want the best care for your pet, so I am careful to follow all instructions and take care of your home as well.

About: I’ve always been a lover of a variety of different animals, but dogs and cats have always had my heart. Over the course of my life, there has always been a dog or cat present, whether I was babysitting for a family member, or just visiting, was lucky enough to hang out with one of their pets. I’m experienced with dogs and cats of all ages, from puppies and kittens to seniors! I’m patient and analytical, and will pay close attention to your fur baby! I’m currently working a part time job, but whenever I’m not scheduled I should be free all day to sit your fur baby. I’ll keep a close eye on your dog or cat, and shut down any trouble that might emerge. Besides the aforementioned, I've also cared for dogs, small/caged mammals (gerbils & mice), rabbits, fish, and a lizard (leopard gecko)! These pets come with a wide variety of responsibities, needs, & comforts, and I'll do all I can to help your pet have a healthy & positive experience while you're away! :) I'm currently attending school fully online, which means I can study from pretty much anywhere! This also means that I spend many hours of my day at home because I'm not commuting to a school or work site. HOT WEATHER: for dog-friendly clients, i am able to provide outings to low stress trips to uncrowded, pet-friendly stores/facilities for stimulation and enrichment (including a potty break outside before and after, of course!) i am also happy to walk earlier/later in the day to avoid the heat as well! i also enjoy keeping pets company in home, whether its playing with toys, using lick mats, or just spending some time together! because i work evening and overnight shifts, i have guaranteed availability every morning and midday for your dog’s routine. whether you need a recurring daily walker or a same-day visit because you’re running late, i'm local and ready to jump in! my current job is closing in a few months, so i’ll be even more available for your schedule soon :) in public, i use a short-leash grip, stay hyper-aware of our surroundings without distractions like phones/technology of any kind (aside from photos, of course!), and avoid unknown dogs to keep your pup protected. i pride myself on being a trustworthy, punctual communicator, providing frequent photo updates so you’re always in the loop. i am very confident in my ability to kennel/leash pets & i consider myself well-versed in administering medication. i am keen when reading animal stress signals, ensuring your pet feels safe and understood under my care! as of early may, i am taking dog training certification courses to better my understanding and confidence in dog training :)
