About: I've had dogs off and on my entire life but it wasn't until we adopted our baby girl Coco that I really fell in love. We had 13.5 wonderful years with her, then after she passed we decided to foster dogs in her honor and have been doing this since Sept. 2020 with several local organizations. We have fostered 25 dogs and have sat 26 dogs to date, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with behavioral and medical special needs. I have two years of experience working at a boarding/daycare facility where I was a supervisor for 1.5 years there, this means that I have experience working with dogs who need to take any type of medication- like insulin. I have been working at an animal shelter for 6 months where I’ve grown to learn more about the body language of dogs which has made me more confident in making sure the animals are comfortable and I can tell when they are starting to get overstimulated. I have a fenced in property where your dogs would be safe from getting out and wandering around, I have 3 very social dogs who love to have friends but I could also keep everyone separated if that is what’s needed. I also have crates if your pet needs to go in one. If I were to be at my clients home I would make sure that your pets are able to go potty at a scheduled time either going in your backyard or bringing them on a walk to get everything out of their system. I can make sure that your pet will not have anything in their area that could hurt them or be eaten which could cause more damage as well.

About: I have a sweet beagle that was rescued 7 years ago. I am fully responsible for his care, including feeding, walking, bathing, nail trimming, etc. I always check him for ticks after visiting a park and know how to safely remove them. I enjoy going for long walks, especially in summer, so would be glad to give your dog exercise. My kids have had goats, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, and ducks, which are all fun to play with, and I would be glad to care for your less-typical pets, if needed. I have even cared for lizards and snakes. I am a teacher, so have loads of time available in the summer. During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 on weekdays. I felt comfortable knowing Bowser was in good hands while I was away. Bowser was well cared for, happy, and healthy when I picked him up. Her home was clean and well maintained. Kristen sent me daily updates and pics. I can tell she took the time to make sure Bowser was comfortable and received the attention he needed.
