“Carmen and Alex were AWESOME! They were on time and did a fabulous job communicating throughout the visits with our very sweet (and shy) cat. They did a perfect job with his food and medicine and he was very happy for the company. I will definitely work with them again for our next trip!”

About: Hi! I've been around animals my whole life, and caring for pets is truly second nature to me. I've owned and loved both dogs and cats since I was a kid, and that lifelong experience shows in how I care for every animal I meet. What really sets me apart is my background in pet care and dog training. I graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural High School, where I took many animal science courses. I took classes in canine behavior, pet shop management, and animal science. I learned how to handle, groom, and care for dogs of all breeds, through hands-on experiences. I bring patience, knowledge, and lots of love to every pet I care for. I am college student spending the rest of my summer from July 8 until August 22 at home. This means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m already helping my family take care of our own dog, so adding more pets to my routine fits in perfectly! I am available Monday through Friday and am very flexible throughout the day, so I can easily accommodate different schedules and needs. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s, their safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I stay in tune with how they are feeling, making sure they’re well-fed, clean, healthy, and getting plenty of rest and outdoor time. At home, I provide a pet-friendly environment. I’m also lucky to live next to a reservation with trails, open fields, and ponds and streams perfect for dogs who love to explore nature. I enjoy taking pets on these little adventures to keep them active and mentally stimulated. When it comes to pet care, I always treat each animal as if they were my own.

“Petrina was wonderful and very thoughtful about helping one of my older cats still get the attention she needed, despite the exuberant furry youngsters in the house. Happy to work with her again :)”

About: I am a college student that grew up with two dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a tortoise. I now only have one cat and one dog. I have lots of space for more animals in my life. I would love to walk dogs, and do day visits with dogs or cats. I am a firm believer that dogs and cats get lonely too, and need attention and care when we are away at work. Rather than a professional dog walker with multiple dogs at once, I want to give individual attention to each pet. I am also able to host dogs at my house, and have a separate room for my cats if needed. I am taking summer classes two nights a week but have a very flexible schedule. I am currently a student. This summer I only have one class twice a week at night, so I have plenty of free time to care for animals! I will update my schedule once I know my classes for the fall semester. I have one friendly dog and one friendly cat. They both love to make friends. Our yard is not fenced in, but it is a large open area in a very quiet neighborhood. I do not let dogs out unsupervised or walk off leash.

About: I have had pets my whole life, volunteered at a farm since I was 6 years old, and have professional experience working at a doggy daycare as a kennel attendant working with up to 30 dogs at a time. I am frequently trusted by neighbors and family friends to care for their dogs, cats, and more! I am a college student home for the summer, working part time with plenty of time to get some steps in with your pup or any other care your pets may need! I will respect your home and property like I’d expect someone to respect of mine. Your pet will be my number one priority. I am confident in new scenarios and ready to adapt to new challenges.

“Mia was super great! She kept me informed of her visits with Ellie and I know she had a great time based on the photos she sent. She looked so happy and content during her playtimes. I would love to have Mia come take care of Ellie again soon!!”

About: I am a certified professional dog trainer and dog walker local to Dedham. I have been in the pet care industry for the last 6 years, including daycares, walli businesses, and shelters. I am deeply invested in the well being of the dogs that I care for, and am always looking to learn how to be a more trained and better caretaker. I am most interested in canine behavior, canine fitness, and canine sports, and would love to work on more advanced training or fun with your dog. I have years of experience with anxious and reactive dogs and enjoy creating a space they are and feel safe and loved. I am looking to provide more training, adventures, and sports services in the future as I continue to gain experience! The dogs I care for are my first priority as this is my full time job. I live in a single family house with a large backyard, with easy access to nearby parks, reservations, and even swimming. All dogs boarding with me begin their day around 7 am and have a last potty break around 10pm. I make sure to walk them at least 5 times, and always include a “big walk” in each day - a trip to a dog park, a hike, a field trip to the beach, an extra long walk with lots of time to sniff, a training session, etc. it is really important to me that the dogs I care for are happy and engaged. I have a single family home with a large backyard, with plenty of private and safe space for your dog to feel comfortable, have fun, and learn new skills. This space has allowed me to really provide an enjoyable stay for your dog, a very different experience to caretaking while living in an apartment! I have years of experience in all caretaking settings and would be happy to fulfill any and all special requests or needs your pets have. My house is relatively dog proof and I have all of the supplies needed for any dog that stays with me.

About: My family had up to four dogs at once while I was growing up, and I currently have an 8-year old Mountain Cur I adopted at 9 months old. I'm available most weekdays for walks or drop-ins before work or at lunch time. Other times may be available depending on the day. My schedule is pretty flexible with enough notice. I cater service to each individual pup's needs. Some dogs just need a way to let out energy in the middle of the day and others need someone to bond with while their owner is away at work. I am available for walks or in-home visits customized based on the dog's needs.

“Our pups loved Ally! We had her scheduled for a few months doing drop-ins every weekday while my husband and I shifted our work schedules. Always so kind and responsive, and she sent the cutest pictures of our 2 dogs in the Rover cards!”

“Gabrielle has been and is amazing with our senior pup Luna! She has gone above and beyond, is always on time, super attentive and very quick to respond and provide updates. As someone who doesnt trust many people to be with my dog, I trust Gabrielle!!”

About: I have cared for animals since I was 9 years old when my family got our first dog. I am very active and love dog walks out in nature. I also love being playful with animals and can play for as long as they want! I have a lot of experience with senior dog care as well. I am working part time this summer and will have plenty of time during the week for pet care. I am also available to stay over if that is the best care plan for your pet :) I will be very consistent and present in the care of your pets. I understand how hard it is for them to be away from you, and will do everything I can to make my time with them enjoyable and comfortable. I am very good at following a schedule and will be prompt with feedings, walks, bathroom trips, medication, and anything else they could possibly need.

“Lauren is a very flexible and reliable dog walker. She is great with Remi and always on time. She keeps me up to date on her visits and always send a picture or two. I’d recommend lauren to anyone in the area who is looking for a reliable dog walker!”

About: Growing up, my family rescued dogs who experienced behavioral problems. I believe that any dog deserves love and proper care by a trusted individual. I am capable of providing meals, going on walks, playing, bath time and brushing, or just hanging out as company for the pups. I work part-time currently and would LOVE to spend the rest of my free time helping out the pets and their families in the area. I’m free Wednesdays and Fridays from noon to 9pm, Thursdays 10am-2pm, and Saturdays from 3-10pm. I don’t do any house-sitting in my own home. I can provide transportation to dog parks or to the pet store, wherever you need! I can assist senior dogs with physical impairments and provide comfort for anxious dogs as well. I value understanding the wants and needs for the family and their dog, putting your needs first in your home. I am very active and prioritize your pups fitness so active playing and taking walks are vital. I also would let the dog go outside either leashed or unleashed depending on if there’s a fence or not. Any other questions, feel free to contact me:)

About: Dogs are welcome to snuggle on my bed and furniture during their stay, ensuring they feel at home and comfortable. They enjoy daily walks, allowing them to explore the neighborhood and stay active. With a spacious backyard to run and play in, your dog will have plenty of room to burn off energy and enjoy their time here. I provide a relaxed and loving environment, so your dog can feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you're away. Whether it's a short trip or a longer stay, I ensure your pet feels comfortable, loved, and well-cared for throughout the year. With my flexible schedule and commitment to your pet’s well-being, you’ll always have peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. In my home, your pet will enjoy a warm, welcoming environment with plenty of love and attention. I have a friendly French Bulldog who gets along well with other pets, providing companionship for your fur baby during their stay. If your pet prefers their own space or needs crate training, I also have a crate available for them to use, ensuring they feel secure and comfortable. I offer a balance of freedom and structure, allowing pets to roam freely, play in the backyard, or relax in a quiet area if needed. Whether they need companionship or privacy, I tailor the care to suit your pet’s individual preferences and comfort level.

“Cynthia was amazing! She sent so many pictures and videos when checking in on our kitties which made us so happy. She is super sweet, trustworthy, and has great communication! She took such good care of our babies. Would definitely recommend her & would use her services again in the future!”

“Emily did an excellent job of taking care of our beloved fur babies. She went over and above the call of duty, heading over to visit before the snowstorm and then trekking through thigh-deep snow before the snow removal folks did their job. She sent us updates and photos every day and adjusted their food based on what she noticed. We came home to happy kitties. Thank you, Emily.”
