About: Animal Care Technician with extensive experience with dogs, cats and rodents. Cannot train but am trained on proper handling, walking and administering oral medication. 19 years of experience with dogs from pup to elder (including dogs with medical issues) and 5 years experience with cats from kitten to elder (including cats with medical issues). I am currently not working and have a flexible schedule for anyone looking for booking! I will not be allowing boading or doggy day care at this time due to remodeling but I am willing to house sit, do scheduled drop in's and dog walking. My current schedule includes every day except for Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings due to current client bookings. I do not currently house any pets but I have owned dogs and cats for years before and have extensive experience caring for pets of family and friends.

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a child. Fish, lizards, snakes and dogs and cats. I've had a lot of experience with senior care. I'm currently working overnights on the weekends, leaving my day time availability flexible for your needs. About: I love dogs (and cats) more than anything! I am happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day, overnight, while you are on vacation, or once in awhile for walks, hikes, check ins, at your place or mine! A popular request this summer has been from folks on visiting who would like me to day sit at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort. This summer I am taking a sabbatical to my career job which means more hiking, walks and freedom to spend time with your pet- with flexible scheduling :) While my home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence, pets are never left unattended in the area. Happy to board with your routine in mind in terms of crating or free range of our home and total pampering. Pet sitting at your home is welcome too!

About: I’m a dog lover and have owned several dogs throughout my life - a cocker spaniel, 2 English setters, one chocolate lab and a golden retriever. Right now I’m single, live alone and I like to travel a lot. But I enjoy dog companions and want to make myself available to help you with your dog sitting needs. I’m a daily runner so I can take your dog on runs or long walks. I live near a pond where dogs can swim, and in general I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood that is suitable for all types of dogs. I’m also a health nut, so I will only feed your dog good food and/or whatever is required of their diet. About: 🐱🐶 Animals have been my whole world my whole life! I have experience with a variety of animals from fish 🐠 to turtles🐢 as well as dogs🐕 and cats🐈‍⬛. I use positive reinforcement training techniques with our three rescue dogs and I use worship all cats techniques with our cats 😆. I am comfortable and familiar with the needs of puppies and kittens as well as senior animals. So medication💊 and physical therapy💪 exercises are something I am happy to provide! I went to college for animal behavior and animal sciences and have a degree in Ecology 🌎 I completed a 2 year course in wildlife rehabilitation. I will treat your animals as if they were my own and that means they get the utmost care and attention. 🫡 I will respect and follow whatever your babies' needs and preferences are as well as yours when it comes to them and to your space. 💓 We love taking our dogs on all sorts of outdoor adventures but safety is always our top priorty⛰️🦺! I am great at reading animals and understanding the different personalities and quirks they each have so I can provide them with the best care that works for them 🧐 Every animal is different but they all deserve our best! I have a flexible schedule and my own car that allows me to be an adaptive and on call care giver. I don't mind late bookings or cancelations as I understand that things come up. I am new to rover and still figuring out what works best but am always willing to work with clients on what works best for them and their pets. Animals are my first priority but I also believe homes and personal spaces are sacred and I will always treat them with respect and attention. All animals are different so its important to use to always be aware of anything potentially unsafe. Our home is for animals first and there is nowhere they aren't allowed although animal guests and clients are always fully supervised to make sure they are safe and comfortable. Our home is very easy going and has a lot of space for different needs and comforts. In your home, I will defer to your personal preferences always.

About: Hello! I’m originally from Virginia but am working in Bar Harbor for the summer and fall season! I have been dog sitting on Rover for over two years now and I absolutely love it. Some other facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your dog(s)! My work schedule is flexible and I’m not usually gone for longer than 3 to 4 hours. If you have any questions or requests, don’t hesitate to ask! I will care for your pets by giving them lots of pets and taking them on walks. I will be attentive to your pets needs and do everything in a timely manner because I care about caring for your pet! I will also send pictures and updates 2x a day.

About: I've owned two high energy and high maintenance dogs for the past 5 years, I've owned cats for 15 years. I currently volunteer at an animal shelter caring for cats, dogs, and small animals. I used to compete in dog shows and have followed through with training many dogs thought my early childhood until now. I now am training dogs, working on harness training cats and enjoy taking care of as many pets as possible. I'm currently working part time but do not have shifts longer than 6 hours and mostly work online, so I just need WiFi available for me to work while house sitting. This is a non smoking non drinking household that is quiet and has no other animals. There is a large fenced back yard and a large non-fenced front yard, but the house is on a quiet lightly trafficked street in a not so busy part of town.

About: I have 4 years of pet care experience professionally as well as lots of informal experience. I’m comfortable walking and sitting all kinds of dogs- different sizes, personality, and needs! I love animals and I love getting to know new dogs. I have experience with giving oral meds, working with reactive dogs, and not afraid to clean messes! I currently work Thursday-Saturday, but am available the other days of the week. I can work morning and evenings and I am flexible with scheduling I always ensure I have a secure grip on leashes so that they won’t slip out of my hand if a dog lunges or starts to run. I stay aware of my surroundings and monitor what’s on the ground and whether there are other dogs around. I am also happy to communicate with owners as much as they would like and give updates on their animals!

I currently work during the week but if you need extended stay sitting in advance during the weekdays, that be arranged with at least a few weeks notice. About: Animals have always been a passion of mine. I grew up with several different animals and have always loved being around them and taking care of them! At a very young age I really wanted to work with animals and that same passion of working with them is still the same today! As of right now, my schedule varies! I could be working any shift from 6:30-2:30, 7:30-4:30, 9:15-5:15, or 12:15-5:15. I am a new mom who is trying to make ends meet but working still isn’t helping because daycare is so expensive! I am really trying to pet sit part time or even full time! My weekends and holidays are always open except for the occasional family trips in the summer! I do not have a fenced in yard at my home so that means that your fur babies will be kept on a leash when taking them outside. Your fur babies will also be kept company by 2 friendly dogs and 2 friendly cats! I also have to crate one of my dogs so I can easily crate dogs if needed!
