About: I've taken care of animals for the majority of my life, and have experience with dogs in all life stages from the puppy stage to their golden years. I believe pets are our little fur babies and I learned how to thoroughly spoil them from my late baby Princess, a shih-tzu that lived up to her name. I currently work a hybrid job 15 minutes from home with the flexibility to accommodate my furry guests. Whether that's being home 24/7 or needing to return home after a couple hours, I can be flexible based on my furry guests needs. I have a 2 bedroom apartment, with a large patio/mini yard so there's plenty of space to stretch out. There are no other dogs in the home but there are 3 friendly cats that will watch their visitors from above.

About: Throughout high school and a couple of years in college, I worked and volunteered at a handful of vet clinics and shelters. I studied animal science for one year in undergraduate and have a moderate-above average understanding of animal health and behavior. Throughout my time working at a vet clinic in high school, for four years, I assisted in surgeries, learning how to do exams, and tending to animals both big and small. I have an above average understanding of behavior training methods including classical and operant conditioning from studying psychology in my undergraduate and masters program. I do not believe in corporal punishment. For an extra fee I will work with your pet learning tricks, leash training, litter training (cats), doggie door training, and overall environmental well-being assessments. I work from home and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I am home all day with our animals. We have a doggie door that is periodically left open for autonomous access to our spacious, fenced backyard. I am typically home in the evenings studying or working on projects for my small business so I am always available to the pets and take conscious efforts to ensure they are stimulated throughout the day. Pets will be allowed to roam throughout the home as they please throughout the day and will be either crated or sequester to their designated room during sleeping hours. If you have specific preferences on crating hours or sleeping arrangements, I would be happy to discuss those during consultation. All animals are fed dinner at 8pm. We do not feed animals human food in our home, and will not feed our clients dogs human food either. Our animals have plenty of toys for your animals to play with in our home, but we are always open to accepting your animals favorite toys here during their stay, however, we cannot guarantee the quality of the toy in our household. We only purchase durable toys for our dogs.
