About: I’ve had animals in my house sense I was born and have had a role in taking care of them for as long as I can remember. I now have my own very spoiled creatures I’m working and going to school but I’m home a lot to I’m mostly looking for something to do in my spare time for a little extra cash Currently living with my parents while I finish school. About: My fourth birthday I asked for a dog, and continued to do so every birthday thereafter. Growing up my family was not in a position to have a pup, so I found every other way to engage with them. I walked family and friends dogs, pet sat, and read all the books about dogs and cats I could find in my little school library. As an adult I have been graced with the opportunity to rescue my own pup, and have since learned a whole slew of new skills and knowledge. I have experience caring for dogs with separation anxiety, reactivity, nervousness, and anxiety. (Let's just say my rescue experience really gave me a crash course in how trauma can effect dogs well after they are safe in a home). I have done hours of research (and application of that research) into how to effectively train and respond to behaviors. I personally prescribe to a positive reinforcement system and 'protecting their bubble' dual training method. I would love to meet you and your pup, and find out how I can best help to meet your dogs needs for a happy and healthy life! I'm currently working part time summer hours. I work in behavioral health care for kids and have plenty of time available to care for your pet! My dog is a rescue and we put in time training every day to help build her confidence and trust in the world. She's very nervous of other people and dogs, so unless it seems like a really great fit personality wise between our dogs, I will love providing your pup love, walks, and engagement in your home or out in the community! I prescribe to positive reinforcement training and protecting a dogs bubble. I would love to hear about your dog and that they need. You are their expert and I am here to provide you both support how ever you may need it. If your dogs is like mine and doesn't get along with other dogs, I know lots of places to walk and adventure where it's easy to avoide other pups and also have strategies use if we do come across them such as the Banana method, and training a "center" position, and skills and drills to do before a walk to ensure a dogs engagement and focus is on me before the walk.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets for 25 years. I currently have 7 cats ranging 2 months to 16 years, 2 dogs, and 2 lizards. I groom my own dogs, and administer medications to my pets. I currently check in on neighbors cats periodically and walk neighbors dogs I currently work from home with a flexible schedule and am about to schedule work around caring for animals. I can make myself available around your pets needs I have a fenced in yard and various sized crates if crating is necessary. I also have a large barn and multiple rooms with doors if pets need alone spaces.

About: I am an animal lover who would love to provide care to your pet so you don't have to worry about leaving them at home while you're at work or on vacation! My services include dog-walking, drop-in visits to check on and play with your pup, overnight boarding if you're away on vacation (at my home or yours), or dog-sitting for the day while you're at work. I have experience with volunteering at various animal shelters, caring for dogs on Rover for several years, owning several family dogs growing up, and spending time with my parents dog, Boomer (a rescue Shih-tzu yorkie mix), my sisters dog Lola (a mini schnauzer) and my in-laws’ golden retriever, Remi. As of June, we also have a golden retriever puppy of our own who adores other dogs, so it is important that your dog gets along with other dogs. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I love hanging out with the doggos and will be flexible with our activities based on their age, activity level and owner preferences. I love exercising and being outdoors so I’m always willing to go for walks or hikes with your dog! Or if they’re older I can stay in and relax with them too 😊 I have a very flexible work schedule and am home a lot so will be able to devote lots of attention to your furry friend. My husband and I live in a home on 5 acres on a quiet rural road in Maine that is perfect for taking dogs for walks or a swim in the pond (if their parents say yes!). Your dog will have plenty of room in the house and on our land to play and go for walks down our quiet road. I also am able to travel to your home to watch your dog too.

About: My first Jobs as a child were farm sitting for my neighbors and working on an angora rabbit farm. I have always loved and cherished animals. Animals have been drawn to me my whole life. I developed my skills going into the veterinary field as a technician, I've worked with large animals horses , pigs, cows, llamas , alpacas , tortoise , lizards , snakes, monkeys, even helped in surgery on a lion. I have experience with medications , injections, transdermal , and oral medications . Also subcutaneous fluids . I also have experience with handicapped animals that may need bladder expressions or need potty walks in wheel chairs , experience with this is work and I also had my own wheel chair bound dog. I'm honest and would let you know if I'm not comfortable or feel qualified enough to take care of your babies I will let you know. I've been in the veterinary field over 25 years. I've worked in general practice , urgent care , and specialty /emergency . On weekends I'm available to house/pet sit pretty much anywhere within Maine and even possibly NH , of course allowing me time to get there . Try me I'm always up for a road trip extra fees may apply . Weekends for me are Friday after 6 pm through Tuesday morning when I head out to work . During my work week Tuesday morning through Friday . If you have dogs that need to be let out mid day , you need to be within a 10 minute drive from Warren ave in Portland . That way I can go let them out on my lunch break . If you have cats only or other pets that do not need midday care I can house sit /pet sit anywhere within an hour from Portland Maine . I can travel back and forth to work but be there at night and morning to take care of your pets needs . Always reach out if this doesn't make sense . Your pets care is priority and I will try to help you out but if my availability is not what is best for your friends I will be the first to let you know . I currently do not take pets into my home , just because I am not here most of the day . I will let people know if this changes

I’m available for midday drop-ins and walks between 12:30PM–2:00 PM, and again after 6:30 PM for dinner walks, evening visits, or overnight house sitting. I can also accommodate early-morning visits before 6:00AM if your pup likes to start the day early! Saturday–Sunday: I work 7:45–10 AM and 2:45–5 PM, so I’m available 10:30AM–2:00PM and after 5:30PM for weekend walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. Normally I have the day off Sunday and the mornings off Monday and Wednesday! When I’m caring for pets in your home, I treat them just like one of my own. Every pet I meet instantly becomes my baby while they’re in my care — I give them the same love, attention, and structure I give to the dogs I work with every day at the daycare. I make sure their routine stays consistent, from walks and meals to playtime and cuddles. I’m big on communication, so I’ll keep you updated with photos, notes, and little details about how they’re doing while you’re away. Whether your pet loves belly rubs, long walks, or quiet couch time, I’ll match their energy and make them feel safe, loved, and completely at home. At this time, I’m not offering boarding in my home, as one of my dogs is uncomfortable around unfamiliar animals. Her well-being—and the comfort of your pet—are both very important to me. I’m more than happy to provide drop-ins, walks, or care in your home to ensure a safe and stress-free experience for everyone!
