I’ve pet sat on and off for many years for family friends and neighbors, and I also worked at a science museum where I assisted with the handling and care of reptiles and other animals. I love getting to know each pet’s personality, routine, and little quirks, whether that means extra playtime, patience with a shy animal, or carefully following specific feeding and care instructions. I currently have a 3-year-old tuxedo cat named Soup Du Jour, who is wonderfully spoiled and has some medical needs, including oral medication every other day, allergies, stomach issues, and dietary restrictions. Because of her, I’m very comfortable with medication routines, special diets, chronic conditions, and paying close attention to changes in behavior or health. I’m also always happy to learn any specific care skills your pet may need. I love getting to know each pet’s individual personality and quirks. PLEASE NOTE: I WORK A FULL-TIME JOB IN AN OFFICE (based in Juno Beach) and may not be able to check on your pets as frequently as you’d like, especially during the day. I have experience caring all kinds of animals, personally and professionally for more than 10 years. Growing up and through adulthood, my family always owned Golden Retrievers. When I was young, I expressed interest in animal care and owning my own pets, ranging from small mammals, birds, and reptiles. In my teenage years, I started out pet sitting for family friends and have continued to pick up pet/house sitting gigs whenever and wherever I can. I also have experience administering medication to some of the animals I’ve cared for. Professionally, I have worked at a veterinary hospital and boarding facility for two summers. At this facility, I was responsible for the care and socialization of dogs of various sizes and demeanors. I also worked at my local humane society caring for cats and dogs with different lead styles, temperaments and bite thresholds. I was responsible for providing the dogs with three walks a day. Through this job, I also have some experience with clicker training and administering bordatella and rabies vaccines to incoming stray dogs. Looking to make extra money doing what I love! I do work full time, so my most open days for all services are Saturday and Sunday. However, I can accommodate AM drop in visits any day of the week. And I am open to pet sitting in your home any day, as long I can work it around my full time job. I provide regular photos and updates to owners to build and instill trust. I also make sure to follow care instructions as written to ensure proper care as intended. And I make sure to bring a calm and confident energy when entering and inhabiting your pet’s space. About: When i little i use to live in gainesville and my grandpa owned a farm and i would take care all sorts of animals and help him pet sit such as , Dogs , horses , cats , cows and many more . I’ve always grown a bond with animals , i love to cuddle them and care for them as if they were children . I’m currently in school for nursing and i am also a christian so i do have nursing study groups and bible study , so i always make sure i have a calendar so i won’t overlap everything and im very very organize plus i do not work so i do have a bit of free time majority and i love taking care of animals so this is a good thing for me .
