About: I know how hard it is to leave your beloved fur baby and I want you and your pet to be happy, knowing they're in good hands. I am patient, gentle and affectionate with animals and want them to have a great experience whenever I am with them. I love feeding animals and giving them treats, but I am respectful of the client's wishes and will strictly follow all feeding instructions. I am physically in shape and able to walk/jog with your dog and go on long walks (I also live near the Pufferbelly trail). I will play tug, fetch or whatever game your dog enjoys. I am willing to take your dog on car rides and to the Huntertown dog park upon client request. I have a golden retriever that loves to play and go for walks, so if you want some socialization for your dog, I can also bring him along. My dog will only come by request of the client. I do have 2 cats in my home, so I can only board dogs who are cat (and dog) friendly. Otherwise, I am more than happy to come to your home and care for your dog(s).

About: At Williamson Animal Care and Control I volunteered walking dogs. I also received significant training in dog behavior and dog walking. After retiring from my career, I started my pet sitting and dog walking career. I took care of a rescued Great Pyrenees multiple times during the week and frequently overnight trips for over two years. I recently moved back to the Fort Wayne area from Franklin, TN. Three of my previous dog clients have shown interest in having me come back to stay with their dogs when they’re out of town for more than a couple days. Pet sitting and dog walking are my primary responsibilities along with taking care of my two cats. I have a very flexible and available schedule. I take pride and making sure that the client’s home is as good if not better when I entered. I will walk the dog, feed or treat, make sure the water bowl is full and also if appropriate snuggles.

I’ve also mastered the balance of caring for both an energetic dog and two independent cats, ensuring each of them gets the attention and care they need. My ability to read animal behavior and create a structured yet loving environment sets me apart, making me not just a pet owner, but a true companion to my furry family. Every morning before 2 I am more than available to do drop ins other than Sundays. I do in fact work a full time job that I go into at 3. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I follow their routine closely, including feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, and any medical needs. For exercise, I provide walks, playtime, and mental stimulation with toys or training games. I also respect house rules, whether it’s furniture boundaries or specific care instructions. Most importantly, I give plenty of attention, whether that’s belly rubs, cuddle time, or just being present to ensure they feel at ease while their owner is away.

About: I've worked with dogs, cats, and other animals since middle school. I've done short- and long-term sitting for dogs varying from a weekend with a mixed breed rescue to a month with a purebred Australian shepherd. I owned an elderly Maltese for three years, until he crossed the rainbow bridge. Currently I do have a limit of dogs of maximum 35 pounds. I am prepared and willing to work with training routines. I studied cats extensively in seventh grade in my attempt to persuade my parents into owning one. (It worked.) As either a cat owner or sitter, I've been working with cats ever since. I have a beautiful little black and white princess named Jane, with an affinity for burrowing in blankets and stealing pens, and a wild child named Lizzie who has never met a stranger. I offer dog and cat walks, animal feeding, water changes, litter box changes, playtime, and brushing. I'm open to pets outside the usual; anything except spiders. Safety and care in a pet's home is reliant first and foremost on learning the family's routines and location of important items. Every family in every home has a system and routines in place; following those is the smoothest way to keep the animals happy and safe. In my home, I care for two young adult cats I own, as well as foster kittens. Right now, I have a group of four kittens to care for until they reach their goal weight for their spay/neuter surgeries. I do practice robust hygiene routines to ensure no potential illness is transmitted between the fosters and my cats.

About: i have been a pet sitter for friends and family for many years. I have owned several dogs and cats, and I currently have four kitties as my sweet dog passed away a few years ago. I also care for/feed five feral/community cats that I worked with Humane FW to trap, spay/neuter and vaccinate, and I supply them with heated cat houses. I have experience with elderly animals as well as special needs animals with food restrictions and allergies. I currently work part-time from home and make my own hours, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! My schedule is so flexible that I am available for drop-in visits, walks, playtime or overnight stays most days of the week. About: I have been caring for the pets of my friends and family for over 5 years, and worked for a pet boarding facility for over a year. I’m a college student studying to be a veterinarian who wants to gain more experience working with pets. I have also completed the dog handler academy online training course for my last job! I am currently a college student who is able to take the time between and after my classes to care for pets. This also leaves my weekends completely open to focus on pet care! About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I love! Any time I have the opportunity to care for an animal is a time I am grateful for! I love to take walks with my pups, play games with my cats, and snuggle with all of the above! I work from home with a flexible schedule. I have animals in my home so I am not open to caring for other pets at my residence. But I have a lot of availability and willingness to care for your pet at your home or do dog walks. I have experience crating my pets, taking walks on leashes, and play time in a fenced yard. I can adapt to your pet needs and follow all necessary safety protocols.

About: I have a 15 year old medium sized Lab-Pit mix that I’ve cared for since she was almost a year old. I’ve also helped care for dogs of all sizes for friends and family, no size too big or too small! With years of experience giving medications, I’m skilled in administering pills, whether with treats or a more direct approach. I can read a dog’s body language to tell if they’re happy and social or need some space. I have lots of free time, I’m available all day, weekends and weekdays! I’m only unavailable during 5pm as that’s my own pets dinner time, and medication time for those who need them I am very familiar with crating, my own dog is crate trained. If need be, I can safely crate a dog if they need to settle down

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life, I know how important it is to treat our animals like family! I go for walks every day and would love to take your dog with me! I exercise every day and try to get outside for walks at least once a day, taking a dog in need of some fresh air with me would be a win win for both of us! I have a secure privacy fence around my back yard and I work from home so your pet will never be left here alone. I treat my animals like family, and there are 2 days a week when it’s only me and my cat because my dog stays with family.

About: I’ve taken care of one shitzu and terrier mix and one German shepherd which are my uncle’s pets as he is most of the time on a work trip. I would looked after them on weekends and holidays. I’m used to feeding them, taking a walk and potty breaks and giving them a bath. Right now, I’m on summer break and I am not looking for a part time job or anything so I have lots of free time to look after your puppies! I don’t have any pets at my home but I’m confident that I can keep them safe and comfortable in my home! I’ll make sure to be tailored to any specific requirements or needs of each pet!

About: I have been around dogs my whole life and taken care of dogs since I was about 10. Dogs are my life. They run my household and my only one rule with them is to love on them. I work from home so your pet will never be alone. I spent the last few years taking care of my senior dog who was almost 15 when she crossed the bridge. I still take care of another senior dog for my family. I work from home so your pet will always have someone. I will work around your schedule for feeding and medicine. I do ask that you bring their beds and toys so that they feel more comfortable. Fenced in yard with no children/ pets. I do not crate the dogs. I am still grieving my soul dog so this is my way of being around dogs and loving on them while my heart heals.

About: I’m married and half 6 children 3 human and 3 dogs. I enjoy all dogs of every shape, size, and attitude. I love taking my dogs out doors to play. I work in a small Lutheran school running the lunch program. As my children are growing up I have more free time and I would like to find something I enjoy that gets me outdoors. I’ve always had a love for dogs and would love more but 3 is enough for my size of home on a daily basis. We have a big backyard! I do not have a fence our dogs are trained to stay within the property lines. I do have several sizes of collars and leashes for walks around the neighborhood or just in the yard. I also have several crates and dog beds if they are requested.
