She even made sure to fit in a visit prior to the dog walking dates to make sure Shadow and I were comfortable. Shadow was well taken care of and I could tell from the various pictures Marissa provided, he was enjoying his time with her! I would not hesitate to book Marissa again in the future!! About: You can be sure that your sweet pup will get the time, love, care, and exercise that they need while they are in my care! I am currently stay at home with my four year old and own a cleaning company. I only clean a few hours a day Monday through Thursday so I’ll have plenty of time to play with a furry pal! I love to walk around our beautiful neighborhood several times a day to get plenty of steps in. We have a large yard in a safe neighborhood. The dog/dogs will be leashed and with me anytime we are outside. I have a large metal crate that the dog can stay in when it needs a rest!

About: I have had dogs and taken care of dogs and cats since childhood. In my more recent years I have dog sat for family members and neighbors. I have enjoyed being able to give peace of mind to them knowing their pets are safe, happy, and cared for. Owning a dog and cat myself I understand the stress and fear of having to leave your pets. Whether it’s work, vacation and other life events it can feel like you’re leaving a piece of your heart behind while you’re away. I strive to bridge that gap and be able to provide peace of mind. My dog is a rescue and came to me with some behavioral challenges: fear, reactivity, resource guarding and separation anxiety. Since being with me he is a thriving boy with manners and is learning new skills and tricks every week! That being said I don’t scare easily and have experience managing a variety of behaviors. I know from experience leaving a pet that has some big feelings at times can be even more challenging and thats where I come in. To offer you peace of mind knowing your dog or cat will be safe and cared for with me. I firmly believe in the saying no bad dogs and would love to get the opportunity to take one worry off your plate while you are away! I have summers off and am able to be around as much or as little as needed for your pet in the summers as that is a busy time for vacations. I do structured schedules with play, train walk and rest times with pets. I can also create scheduled enrichment times throughout our time together. I try to cater what we are doing based on needs of the dog so they are fulfilled.

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I was very young. I’ve been officially working in pet sitting for five years. Animals usually love me, and I’m willing to be as pateint as needed for the ones who are more shy and may take longer to warm up. I move at there speed. I also make sure that your house stays in the same condition you left it in. Maybe even cleaner lol. There’s no need for you to come home to a messy house after a much needed vacation. About: I am a dog owner myself, to a 14 year old Australian Cattle dog named Edgar. Edgar used to be very energetic and required ample amounts of exercise, though he is still energetic, his old bones make it hard for him to romp like he used to. On top of that, I have an almost two year old who is obsessed with all animals, and think it would be a great opportunity to educate him early on dog safety and etiquette. It would also be nice to have more of an excuse to get out of the house and do something fun together! I have had experiences with many different breeds and sizes. I've been a dog lover my whole life, and I feel the most happy and at peace when I'm around them. I am more often than not the go to care taker for my friends animals when they are away. About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. I have college classes in the afternoons but my mornings and nights are wide open on weekdays. As for weekends its just dependent on the day so I'll need advanced notice. I have a small yard, and within a quarter mile from the nearest park. I can give potty breaks ever hour if need be, and I'm great at matching an animals energy level.

“Recently Aleisha did dog walking, check ins for over a 6 week period. She did house sitting for us over a five day trip and found her to be extremely responsible and responsive to all of our two dogs needs. One of our dogs has extreme separation anxiety and is very timid and has difficulty trusting new people. Aleisha came for dog walks a few weeks before our trip and gained Sadie's' trust over that period. While we were away, Sadie accepted Aleisha wholeheartedly. Upon our return, the dogs were excited but very calm and at ease – a real departure from other vacation experiences. Aleisha also spent several nights at our home house sitting. Again we found her to be a true pro and very reliable and respectful. We would have no problem using her again and would recommend her services to anyone who would ask. As a matter of fact, we will be using Aleisha for occasional walks to keep in touch with Sadie and keep their bonds intact. About: Ever since the family cat had kittens when I was four years old, I have been drawn to the care of animals. Honoring the lives of pets as our friends has been a source of inspiration and therapy for myself personally. As a working artist, taking the time to care for animals has been such a privilege and the perfect change of pace while I continue to work on creative projects. I have a German Shepherd that I keep separated from the work I do with other animals. I am located at a small farmhouse in Augusta that has a huge yard with two a-joining fields. There is more than enough room to explore the surround with your pet. I am also an avid walker so exercise is big for me generally.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my whole life and have been pet sitting for family, friends and anyone in need for the last three years! I have experience with both puppies between the ages of six months and two years old and senior dogs up to the age of 13. I am currently working part-time as a nanny most Thursdays through Saturdays, I am typically always available during the beginning of the week and work some half day shifts nannying so my schedule is open to changes. I always ask my clients to provide me with a strict set of rules and requirements, so that both myself, and the client feel comfortable with me being in the space.

About: I grew up taking care of many different types of animals, from pigs, to hamsters, to cats/dogs. I also help out some family friends with their pets as well! I’m working full-time, but I have free time to help you walk, feed, take care of your pet/pets. Early mornings and nightly visits are totally doable, depending on the day I currently am not able to have pets at my house. But I can assure that your pets will be taken care of with the tools and space provided and more. About: I have many years of experience with cats, all types of personalities. Dogs as well, frequent walking. I do have 4 cats of my own :) I work 3 days a week, not a set schedule, but usually have open availability the other 4 days during the weekdays/weekends. About: I have taken care of various different fur babies my whole life. From my grandma’s elderly diabetic cat, to many little baby kittens. I’ve taken in strays and helped regime them or reunite them. I also took in and nursed back to health a kitty that I witnessed get hit by a car. About: I am just a young 18 year old kid that loves dogs and is looking to spend some more time with them. While also making some money! I am currently taking online classes at the University of Maine Orono and am looking for a part-time job like this to make some money at the same time. Ever since I can remember my family and I have had 2 dogs in our house that each have problems of their own. But we love and care for them no different then we love and care for each other.
