“This is the first time we have we have used Rover and I have to say that we are so happy with EJ! The pups love her and so do we. She's was right on time the morning we were leaving. She's so polite and absolutely loving to the dogs as soon as she arrived. Abby and Lily took to her right away. She sent pictures and updates regularly. We didn't worry about the pups once while we're were away. When we came back the house didn't even look like she was here! About: I’ve had my own dog, Lily, for 12 years—she’s been with me since she was just 2 months old. Caring for her throughout every stage of life has given me hands on experience with everything from puppy training to adult dog care. About: I’m a graduate student with a bachelors of science in Biology and a concentration in pre-vet, working towards a career in veterinary medicine with years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I’ve worked in a clinical hospital and an animal shelter with both cats and dogs, gaining experience with a wide range of temperaments, ages, and needs. I’ve also taken multiple animal-focused college courses that strengthen my understanding of proper care, behavior, and health. About: I have done both walking and house sitting for family and neighbors for five years, and have worked with and am comfortable handling both large and small dogs. I grew up owning dogs, including a shitzu mix, a poodle mix, and a shelter girl of unknown breed. While all but one of the dogs I have owned were under 20 pounds, most of my history in pet sitting has been with has been with dogs in the 30-70 pound range, including labs, huskies, and a pit bull mix as my most frequent clients. I have experience with owning a fear reactive dog, but my comfort with taking care of them will be on a case by case basis. I also have experience with training young dogs for crating, potty training, and leash training I am currently exclusively self employed and have a flexible schedule with my income sources, so I am available most days and times of the week At this time I am only able to provide care in my clients home, I am unable to provide boarding due to limited space in my house I will work with owners to maintain your pets normal schedule, including feeding and walks. I am comfortable crating and using alternate feeders or feeding styles as needed Dogs will never be outside unattended, and will be kept on leash or in fenced in yards unless the owner specifically requests that I do otherwise. Cats will not be taken outside for any reason unless requested by owners. All animals will receive a significant amount of play and/or pet time during each visit, assuming the animal is comfortable with and enjoying it For drop ins, I will provide at least one update per visit including pictures. For continuous house sitting, as my standard I will provide at least three updates per day (morning, mid day, and afternoon/evening) with at least one photo per update. If you would like more or less updates, just let me know and I am fully willing to work with you to get you the amount of contact desired

This was really helpful to familiarize everyone in advance and a big help to us to see how well our boys got along with “human puppies” - worked out so great! While we were gone, Jessica sent a bunch of FANTASTIC pics to keep us informed. Being new to our dogs and this being the first time we hired at home sitters for them, I think Jessica and I learned a few things simple we can do to clarify communication with each other in advance which went really well considering we had so little time to prepare!
