About: I've taken care of pets of several species as well as several different dog breeds since I was a kid. I run, hike, and trail run with my dogs. I've had cats and dogs through every life stage from puppy/kitten through senior. I've raised 2 high energy puppies in the last several years and train with them a lot. I have given medications to my dogs as well as friends dogs. I would love to make your pet happy and provide for their specific needs! I currently have an open schedule after I complete my own pet care in the mornings (and evenings). I can do drop-ins for potty breaks, play, and pets. I can do regular walks or hikes. I can do a quick drop in for a midday potty break and some play or go out for a walk or hike as well. *For boarding, I have 2 dogs (1yo and 6yo) and 1 cat. For safety, my puppy is crated during alone time and guest dogs are introduced gradually and separated in their own area when unsupervised. Boarding for cats will not require introductions as they will have their own space.

About: Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. As a lifelong dog lover and work-from-home professional, I’ve created a cozy, peaceful space where pups can feel right at home while their humans are away. I only host one dog at a time (unlike many petsitters), so your pup will be treated like family and get my full attention (and all the belly rubs they deserve). I specialize in anxious pups who do not like being with other dogs and do not like being alone - I keep my pup clients as close as they like and give them as much attention as they prefer. My husband and I have two children, 8 and 10 years old, who are very gentle and loving with dogs. We treat our guest pups like they were are own while they’re with us! If you’re looking for a quiet, cozy home-away-from-home where your dog will be loved and spoiled, I’d love to be their sitter! Please note: unfortunately we have an allergy in our home to short-haired shedding dogs and can only accept long-haired (hypoallergenic) dogs :) I'm home all day to spend time with your pup and treat them like they were my own! My goal is to make your dog feel like they’re still at home, ensuring they experience joy and companionship until you return. We have a large un-fenced backyard with a run hooked-up for your pup to spend lots of time outside. We also love to take walks down our street and at the local park. If your pup has some leash aggression with other dogs, we can walk them in our large private backyard to ensure they get exercise but without the stress other dogs may cause. If they’re house trained they do not need to be crated unless it’s their preference. In the house, I allow our doggy friends on furniture (unless you specify otherwise) and in all rooms of my home. They will not be separated in a different room or crated, unless you specify otherwise.

I am a newer cat mom (1.5 years) but rest assured, I have picked it up quick! I currently work full time in the school system however I have summers off so I will have lots of time come June to meet new animal friends! I have a half acre lot, not fenced. We currently use an e-collar for our 10 year old golden retriever Charlie. We do have a run available and could easily crate an animal should that be the owners preference. “Katie watched our dog, who is almost 2, for a couple of nights recently. I was very comfortable dropping him off and leaving him with her and her family. I love the at home experience she gave him, as opposed to kennels. Our dog is on special food and she took great care to make sure he didn’t get into her pets’ food. We will definitely use Katie again to take care of Linus.”

“Phoebe's recent first long-term stay with Russ and Janet went very well. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that she was well cared for receiving her walks, cuddling, and belly rubs and watching the outside world from her "cat perch" in the front windowsill. They sent updates and immediately contacted us one day when she was not feeling well, which quickly resolved. She enjoys being with them and they enjoy having her! Very happy with the care they have provided. Their 1-dog at a time policy is reassuring that our dog will happily hang out in a quiet home environment, as she is used to at home.”
