About: I have many years of experience house sitting for clients whose pets required daily care and attention. Spending time with animals for exercise and play time is something that brings me so much joy! I’m always willing to accommodate special requests and aid with training. And if you need someone to be a buddy to your senior pet, giving them the quality time they deserve, I’m your girl. I’m currently an unemployed software developer, taking some much needed time off, so I’m available most days and hours! I’m extremely flexible and understanding to situations of life. I love getting out of the house and taking walks to keep my mind and body going! With my experience of house sitting I am always respectful of my surroundings, doing my best to leave the places better than I found them. Making sure your pet feels comfortable and like nothing has changed when I am caring for them is extremely important to me! I do my best to mimic a clients traditional care strategies so the animals involved experience as little stress as possible!

“Megan was great with our 2 dogs and responded right away! Would definite recommend!”

About: I grew up with a family dog and was always involved in feeding and walks. As an adult I've watched and checked on dogs for several family members and friends. I am available for feedings and walks and happy to work on any training or commands with your pets! I have experience with all dog sizes. This is currently my full-time job so I have a wide range of availability! I will also be in Columbus for most of the summer so I'm happy to help during any summer vacation plans! I am very respectful of any house rules while dog sitting. I have watched dogs that cannot be alone in yards or need to be crated while alone or during the night. I will do everything I need to make sure the dog is comfortable while I watch them and to respect your home.

“We love Sarah!! She’s flexible with our timing and changes and I love getting the snippets of my pup’s day! We’ve already rebooked our next walks!”

She was very communicative during the whole process which greatly helped to reduce stress on my end. Her kindness and flexibility made my first experience with dog walking services a highly positive one! I cannot recommend her enough :)”

“Carly was very professional, affectionate with my dogs, and responded in a timely manner! I’ll be rebooking with her soon! :)”

About: I've taken care of family dogs, both large and small, since around age twelve. In high school I also cared for a bird, as well as part of my adulthood. In early adulthood I worked for three years as a professional dog handler and dog walker for a company in New York City. I am accustomed to reading dogs body language and keeping them safe and feeling secure. I've lived with cats in more recent years and have consistently been hired to cat sit for neighbors. I am comfortable with elder pets, administering medications, and helping anxious pets feel more comfortable at home and out in the world. I also have some experience with smaller mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, domestic rats) as well as some farm animals. I am a full-time grad student, so my schedule is much more flexible than a 9-5 worker. That said, at the moment I can only take care of pets who can be alone for at least four hours at a time during the week because of my class schedule (weekends I'm more flexible). You can depend on me to safely enter and exit your home with care for security and cleanliness, and I'd always touch base with you for any concerns. I'm also disabled by long-COVID and take many COVID mitigations (still masking), so I'd be safer for immunocompromised clients. For drop-in visits and popping into your home for a dog walk, I will be masked. For pet sitting overnight, I'm always happy to take a COVID test—just let me know!

“Emily is my pups best friend and we're both so grateful for her care!”

About: I grew up with dogs and now spend time with my family's dogs whenever I visit. I have experience with feeding, walking, and play time with small to large dogs. I work from home as a freelance designer and can set my own schedule, so I am very flexible with booking and have plenty of availability. When home sitting, please let me know of any basic things like where supplies are kept, feeding/walk/play schedule, and any other important information. I'm happy to accommodate any requests discussed in advance

“Isabel was very flexible. My address was in rover incorrectly and she made the effort to still complete the walk with my dog. Not to mention she also grabbed our package from our old apartment. She went above and beyond.”

About: I have been surrounded by dogs since I was born. I have been helping out with my own dogs since I was young and have potty trained and taught tricks to them. I have dog sat for about 7 years now and have spent time with dogs of all sizes. I currently live with 5 doggies consisting of big medium and small and have lots of love for this animal! I am currently in school and my classes are spaced out so I have a decent availability to spend time with dogs especially during weekends! I am a very patient person and will always allow dogs to smell me and get comfortable around me before petting them. I will be able to play with them or crate them if needed.

“Donald was incredible!! I’d recommend him to anyone and everyone! He was helpful and accommodating. I appreciated the photos he posted after each walk which helped ease my anxiety of keeping my new dog at home alone while at work.”

About: Hi, I’m Myranda! I’ve lived with pets my entire, which makes me well rounded in all ages! I personally have a two year old cat, whom I love dearly, and is very friends! I am an experienced pet sitter, and will be such a big help for you and your pets. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends. I am currently a full time student, which makes me very flexible! For drop in visits on M & T I am available from 7AM-9AM; 12PM-1PM; 4PM-9PM. On TH & F I am available from 12:30PM-10PM. And on the weekend I am available all day. For pet sitting during the day I am completely available on the weekends, available TH & F 12:30-10PM and M & T I am available all day if you do not mind me attending online class throughout the day. I live in an apartment building, nearby many public sidewalks that would allow for me to walk your pets! I have a very friendly cat who loves to meet new friends!

About: Due to my active and flexible lifestyle, I am very capable of walking a wide range of dogs from small to large and lazy to hyper. My Australian Shepherd (Covid puppy) does a great job of reminding me to take her on 2-3 walks a day, give her special cuddles and tug on her rope daily. She’s a very smart and trained girl, but just like me, she needs exercise or she’ll get the zoomies! I currently work from home and have good breaks throughout the day, as well as, a flexible schedule giving me the ability to leave my desk and go for a walk or check in on a pup or cat. In my experience walking and taking care of other pets, I’ve been very communicative with what the owner requests. For example, I’ve had opportunities where I’ve had to be very careful about opening the front door because the dog may run out of the house. I’ve also been in positions where I double and triple check if the dog I’m walking is in their harness/leash correctly because they are masterminds when it comes to escaping. If the client is specific with their pet’s needs, I try my best to follow their directions to a tee.

About: I grew up with an active Jack Russell terrier and have watched a variety of breeds and sizes for neighbors, friends, and family throughout my life. I love being able to be active with dogs or just spend time petting or playing with them. I am a full time student but because of that I have flexibility in my day to go on walks or stop by to check on your pet! I love being outside and keeping dogs active while also respecting your space and boundaries with your pet. I’m excited about meeting new dogs and spending time with them.

About: I was raised on a farm and have been caring for a multitude of different animals, basically since birth! I have cared for everything from a 2lb chihuahua to a 200lb Great Dane, as well as cats and farm animals. Over the years, I’ve been a repeat dog sitter for many of my friends and family. I love dogs and treat others dogs the way I would treat one of my own. I’ve bred and raised South African Boerboels, Chihuahua and Dachshunds, as well as having German Rott, American Staffordshire Terrier, Pit Bulls, Labradors and German Shepherds. I have experience with a multitude of different breeds from birth to adulthood. I make sure to find out each dogs specifics needs so that I can tailor their care to accordingly. Puppies are my specialty! I am also willing to work with your dog on basic commands and behavioral training, if desired, for a small price increase. I work from home so I have plenty of time to play with, walk, love on and care for your pet. I live in a quiet, residential neighborhood with lots of places to walk and run, as well as being nearby several parks and trails. I have a two bedroom condo. Pets are allowed on all furniture and have full run of the house. I do have crates available as well, if needed. I live extremely close to several large parks, as well!

“Shayna is amazing! She’s incredibly sweet with our dog, Aurora, and always happy to stop by for walks or to keep her company when we’re out of town. She also takes great care of our elderly cat, Anukis, who needs medication every morning. I’m so glad we found her—she’s been absolutely fantastic..”

Alexis H.
“My poodle is a member of the family, and I have regularly entrusted Alexis with him. She has house sat him for a week at our house, done doggy daycare for days when he was sick and needed a watchful eye plus medication, and taken him on many a walk or run. When she comes over, our dog immediately finds a toy, tail wagging all over the place, so they can play fetch. Our dog would bolt if he got out the yard, and she takes that very seriously and has never had an issue. Alexis is warm and very sweet on pets and is very detail-oriented. I would have no concerns having her in my home for long periods of time; she is very reliable. I would highly recommend her to watch or walk your pet!”

North Central dog parents share their Rover experiences
We couldn't be happier with Danielle as our dog walker! From the moment we first contacted her, her response time and communication have been excellent. It's such a relief to know we can always reach her and that she keeps us in the loop. Our pitbull, Dottie, absolutely adores Danielle. Dottie can be a strong walker, but Danielle handles her with confidence and care. We especially love the pictures she sends during their walks – it's wonderful to see Dottie enjoying herself and getting great exercise. Danielle truly goes above and beyond, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and caring dog walker!

Kathleen is incredibly skilled at working with all kinds of dogs. We appreciate her help with not only walking our dogs but also providing helpful training.

Excellent job! They followed the instructions carefully, my dogs were happy and calm when I got home, and everything was handled very professionally.
