About: Through high school I work at an animal health store. I’ve also lived on a farm since a young age, in addition I have cared for my familles exotic petting zoo through my teens! While caring for some pretty cool animals species I’ve always loved dogs the most, and have loved every single one I’ve met! I work full time Monday-Friday in the afternoons between 2:30-10:30 p.m. I have lots of relatives near me that can let your furry friend out while I am away! My mornings are usually spent home, or spending time walking or running on trails! I have a large fenced in back yard and 1 very friendly mini poodle named Sandy to keep yours company! About: Hello! I focus on supporting dogs with separation anxiety over two years old. My dog comes with me to house-sit and walk. "Meet and Greets" are in a neutral area near your house, and then we go to your house! I have been pet-sitting most of my life and have had several of my own dogs. I am happy to keep your pets' schedules/routine familiar and care for them the way you do. Meals, basic care and training, playing with favorite toys, and enrichment. I am constantly making sure the dogs in my care feel safe, have fun, and relax. I will read out loud with them and play classical music. Lots of snuggles, if they enjoy them, and cozy energy. Consistent time out to go potty every 2-4 hours or as needed. Pet care fits easily into my routine, as I have weekends and evenings available. Some daytime hours as well. My dog is always with me, and we are happy to come take care of your fur babies! Safety is my top priority. That includes not just making sure walks are in safe locations and keeping an eye on any other dogs out, but making sure their routine stays consistent. I watch the dogs I am with consistently while they eat. play, and sleep. When I get where I am watching the dog(s), I check the area we will be in to make sure floors are clear and safe, and I make sure I know where anything is that I might need for safety or cleanups. I sit down and say hi to the dogs and play gently. Talking and singing to them or putting on some classical music and petting them. I make sure they are the center of my time.

About: I have loved dogs ever since I was a toddler. I have been a dog sitter for multiple families and I look forward to their vacations every year! I am a college student living at home, so I have plenty of availability, meaning I could stop over multiple times throughout the day if needed! I will walk, feed and play with your dogs as an individualized plan is made up. Every dog has different needs and I’m willing to adjust to their schedule! About: Small to giant dogs welcome! Growing up on a farm I have found that each animal has their own unique needs, characteristics and personalities. I had been in 4-H for 7 years growing and expanding my knowledge on everything I had the chance to learn. From going to school to be a vet tech and working in the animal ER overnight, to general practice. Working on a horse farm and assisting in vet care, Working in a grooming salon and doggy day care, even doing behavior assessments and now running my dog training company in which I also train dogs for movies. I have had a wide variety of experience with animals and I hope to add your family members to the amazing times Iv been blessed with! As I’m training dogs it’s always a joy to be able to get more hands on experience with different breeds or personalities. I run dog training sessions and then look for who I can burn more energy with! Growing up living on a farm I taught all the dogs we had there roles from wrangling chickens to being a moving fence and defending against coyotes. Normally it won’t be that extreme but starting here has given me what I need to drop in and asses what a pet will need before beginning.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life, of all different shapes and sizes. My previous rescue pup (a female Bernese mountain dog) was extremely withdrawn and anxious. It took months for her to even walk through a doorway if someone was standing near it. She had been through so much already in such a short time that it really showed me how much we don’t deserve the love they can provide. She taught me patience, kindness, and an immeasurable love that only a dog can give! Unfortunately she developed cancer and our time together was cut short, but this rescue experience opened my eyes and showed me how passionate I am about animals! I have another rescue, a two year old black lab that loves any and everyone - dog and person alike! I also have two cats but they have learned to love, or at least tolerate any dogs that come around. I would love the opportunity to be a safe haven home away from home for your pets! I work 4 days a week but am home the other 3 and would love to provide my undivided attention to care for your pet. I do have a crate but only use it when I will be gone for long periods of time. Pets are allowed on the furniture and will be allowed to roam where they desire in the house! I have an intended backyard but love to hike and walk around the nearby parks, as well as visit local dog parks!

About: I am a lover of all animals, most importantly cats and dogs. I have had dogs my entire life, and frequently pet-sit my childhood dog, Bella, for my mom. Bella has some medical conditions that require extra special care, so I am well versed in medication administration for dogs. In adulthood, I started adopting and fostering cats and currently have 3 cats of my own- Soup, Scooter, and Spoon, and one angel cat, Stevie. My calico, Soup, I adopted when she was 5 weeks old so I can also work with baby kittens. She also has medical conditions I have to be attentive to, so I can handle medical care for cats as well :) I work seasonally, part time, so I am able to be there in the morning or night (or more!) to ensure your animal gets the best care they need. I started independently dog sitting when I was 10 for a neighbor. Ever since then, I have loved to pop in and see animals and give them love while their pet-parents are away! I am always happy to meet prior to a trip or vacation or set up a phone/zoom call to ensure you feel safe and trusting.

About: I’ve grown up with cats, dogs, and horses and have always been there for family members and neighbors when pet care services were needed. My sister got a puppy last year and I helped raised her, took her on walks, groomed her, etc. My other older sister was a dog trainer for years and taught me a lot about dog training. I’ve got experience with large dogs (grew up with Great Danes) but also small dog experience (had a shnoodle while in high school). I also volunteered at the local Humane Society to take many dogs out for walks, clean their cages, and help get them accustomed to people. I’m a nurse who works 3 days a week and on my off days I’d love to spend time caring for animals. I currently care for my cat but also dog sit for family/friends as needed. I do not have a fenced in yard but I will put your pet on a leash and take them outside as much as possible, especially for walks. As for cats, I will interact with them as much or as little as they’d like! I will clean up if an accident happens, give them lots of pets, and give fresh water and food as wanted.

About: I recently managed a Doggie Daycare / enrichment and boarding facility. I have just recently started a new part time job at a boarding facility - I live to enrich the lives of all breeds/ sizes of dogs and cats! I have a "small zoo" of my own at home, so I am constantly doing what I love - caring and enriching the lives of many different kinds of animals! With my current job schedule, I work a split shift. (7am-12pm, 3pm-6pm) During the time that I am not at work I would absolutely love to talk to work something out in order to care for the beloved parts of your family and treat them like my own! With my experience managing a daycare, enrichment/ boarding facility and currently working at a boarding facility, the safety/wellbeing and erichment of all animals is my number one priority. I am fully able to administer medications and abide by any feeding requests.

Semi retired and on a flexible schedule so I have time to shower kindness and caring on your pets while you’re away. I have experience in obedience training and worked as a professional groomer for both dogs and cats. I was adopted by my 2 fur babies (both rescues) and I frequently watch my grand dogs. I’m a stay at home mom, just take my kids to and from school during the week and want something to do while they are in school. I would treat them like my own. I would care for them and make sure they have all they need before I would leave like food and water.

About: I have been dog-sitting since I was 13 years old. I have experience with young and old and everything in between, as well as dogs with anxiety. I also have experience with providing medication to dogs. I like to stay in communication with the families while they are away and send lots of pictures/updates, because I know it's stressful being away from their babies. I am a full-time graduate student, so I spend most of my free time studying. I don't currently have any pets with me, so I decided to sign up for Rover to fill some of my time with animals and help care for them! This is a perfect side gig for me as it allows me to study while I hang out with your pets and take study breaks to play with them and take walks! I will not be able to care for pets in my own home, as my apartment does not allow pets. In my client's home, I always make sure I know where everything is for the pet(s) and have all the contact information I need should anything happen while you are away. I like to keep my own apartment tidy, so I ensure that I do the same in other people's homes and I will clean up after myself and the pet(s).

About: I have had almost every type of animal there is from hamsters to horses! I am currently in college to become a vet tech. I have been walking dogs as a side job but I’m working to build a bigger clientele. Currently in college and I have morning classes from 8:30-11:30 Monday through Thursday. I already walk dogs once a week but I am hoping to get more work as I’m working to make this my main job. I baby my pets a lot they are very spoiled and I will treat yours the same! My dog gets walked twice a day and is very pampered with regular grooming. My cat gets a lot of treats and has at least 2 long play sessions and I go to see my horse who unfortunately doesn’t live in my backyard almost everyday to groom her and ride. All of my animals stay up to date on vet visits and any other needs.

I’ve self-trained my own dogs and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience commands like sit, stay, leave it, and leash manners (especially helpful for puppies and energetic dogs). I also groom and bathe my own dogs, and while full grooming isn’t typically part of my services, I’m absolutely willing to help if an urgent situation arises. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins, including hourly relief when needed, and I can do multiple drop-ins throughout the day. Because I’m home often, I’m also able to give pets consistent attention, supervision, and routine support. Care looks a little different depending on whether I’m in your home or mine, but my top priorities are always safety, routine, and clear communication. I expect to communicate frequently during your pet's visit with me. In my home: For daycare or boarding, I require that dogs are crate trained, since dogs will be crated overnight and anytime I’m not home. I also require up-to-date vaccine records to keep everyone safe. I have two dogs of my own, so I carefully monitor introductions and compatibility. We do have a yard, but it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on-leash. In your home: During our meet & greet, we’ll go over your pet’s routine in detail (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, etc.). I ask that any important care instructions are also listed in your pet’s Rover profile in writing, so everything is clear and consistent. I’m happy to follow your household routines as close as possible during the visit.
