“Mary was thorough and had good communication. 😸 I especially appreciate that she talked to my scared and hiding cat during her breakfast to try to earn her trust for the future. We give her 2 paws up! 🐾”

About: Policy please read: owners must be at the home when I arrive for overnight to prevent confusion and to communicate any last-minute details. Great with cats, environmental upkeep and medications. Great with dogs, walking and medications. Especially gentle with senior pets, Great with kittens and puppies. Great with meds and teaching some techniques, my family calls me "the pet whisperer." I have emphysema so I have limits, but I'm supposed to be exercising to increase my tolerance so I will still walk your dog, yes. I'm a freelance artist and delivery driver, so I still work during the day. I may leave for a few hours or be on my laptop to get my work done. It's all on my own time at will, so there's no conflict. I ask that you not book more than 3 days without advanced notice and awareness that I will need to leave to do laundry, eat, work and feed my cat, I am a human being. I don't do drop-ins outside of the Squirrel Hill area, if you schedule for overnight and ask for drop-in, I will turn down the gig. I do overnight across the Pittsburgh area within a 30 minute drive. I think that's reasonable, driving an hour round-trip 3x a day to someone's house to let their dog out isn't worth the gas money. I'm not in a place where I can board furry creatures, unless it is a small reptile with secure nesting box, the reptile room is secure and quiet. I'm very calm and easy to talk to, quiet. I'm always discreet, will never tell anyone you're not home.

“Andrea is wonderful! She was GREAT with our dogs, super dependable and provided daily feedback. We will definitely ask her to help out with the pups again. Thank you!”

“Awesome and reliable. I have never met her in person because, as usual, me and my wife are reactionary and waited until we were two days away from us both having to leave the dogs on a regular basis to have a solution. Marisa met our needs and then some. Very communicative and on time. My neighbors think she’s great. All good stuff.”

About: I've spent my whole life with dogs and cats, and some crazier pets like snakes or even a tarantula! My dad has a tendency to get pets he can't afford... but it certainly taught me to take care of animals! I work full-time, and would love to spend my days off meeting and caring for pets (as well as making a little extra lol... things are expensive!) I have two indoor cats who I love love love! They've got lots and lots of toys, and I love playing with them :) I grew up with a dog who unfortunately had to stay with my parents after I moved out, but I absolutely loved him and playing with him too!

About: I have trained my pets well, I will care and make sure they get the things they need. I want to leave your best friends in the best hands. I have random school hours near my home. I am available mostly evenings and weekends and even most mornings I can check on the animals. We have a dog that could keep your animal company, we also have done up basement if your pet prefers to be alone. We have an open back yard, so we'll just keep a leash on the pet when outside.

“This is our second time having Jessica look after our two cats while we’re away. She does an amazing job and it’s so nice to be able to rest easy and enjoy time away knowing Jessica is giving our cats the best care! 100% will keep rebooking anytime we need someone to look after them!”

“Keilah is a great pet sitter! I have an extremely shy and anxious cat and somehow she got him to come out and play a little and even got a photo of him giving her a kiss! I was shocked! I recommend her for any pet needs and will absolutely be going back to her.”

About: I have always had animals and pets around me and never hesitated to take care of others pets when needed. Grew up with three labradors, a cat, and a bird. I currently have my own cat with my partner! I am currently working full-time remote. I can be flexible on the location I work from depending on my meeting load on any given day. I can be more flexible after 5pm for other activities. Usually, my Sundays are busy with church and meal-prepping/running errands. I do not offer service in my home. However, I will treat your home with the most safety and respect to you and your pets environment as though it were my own.

About: I have had dogs my whole life. My first dog on my own as an adult is currently a senior. He is a very sweet and gentle dog who loves to play with new friends. I have about 10 years of experience, dog sitting friends and family members' dogs. I am comfortable working with food aggressive dogs, highly anxious dogs, and everyone in between. I am experience with administering medications, working with puppies and supporting senior dogs. I have a great track record with leash training, potty training and winning over anxious dogs. I use positive reinforcement (single ingredient dried pumpkin treats) to keep your pups attention and gain their trust. I am happy to do a meet and greet beforehand in order to gain your trust too :) I look forward to working with you! I currently work part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I am available for walks after 2:00 p.m. on those days and all day Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available Monday through Friday for pet sitting, but will be out of the house for the hours of 8-1 MWF. My partner works from home, so if your dog need 24/7 care we can arrange that. As I mentioned in my bio, my main training mechanism is positive reinforcement. I do not believe in punishing dogs. In my experience it does not work and does not feel good! That being said, I am happy to work with you and come up with a plan together.

“Sandra was just wonderful. My dogs loved her instantly! She is very professional and asks lots of questions to make sure her visit is perfect. Thank you Sandra. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Lia was extremely friendly and caring about my dogs. She was very trustworthy and thorough. She made sure to post lots of pictures to show how the doggos were doing. 100% can recommend Lia for anyone who may be a little hesitant to have anyone take care of their dogs.”

About: At home I care for my 14 year old cat Perry, named after the platypus. I work with animal ambassadors of all kinds and the zoo and science center. I am free in the evenings, after five or six depending on the day, for drop in visits and dog walks! I can also check in on birds, reptiles, fish, and invertebrates I can feed, walk, and clean up after animals! I cannot board any pets, since I have five at home, but I am more than available to do home visits for others

“Savannah and Silas were great with our two dachshunds! They even took extra time to help the dogs feel more at ease with them. They were also very quick to respond and provide updates. Definitely recommend!”

About: I have a dog of my own, so I understand what it takes to care for animals. I make sure to provide the same kind of care I’d want for my own furry friend! I currently work full time, so I’m available in early mornings, evenings, and weekends primarily. Reach out about weekday availability as I have some flexibility on times for week days! It’s important to read animals to figure out what they want. I lean on guidance from owners and cues from animals to best meet their needs and get them the care they want!

“Kim did amazing! Her updates were great and the pictures gave us peace of mind. It was wonderful to have our dogs home and not in a kennel. I would recommend Kim to anyone and we will definitely reach out to her again if we need her.”

Alyssa M.
“My 3 cats worship Alyssa and follow her around. I always had to take them to the vet to get their nails trimmed but somehow they will always allow her to clip their nails and even give them baths which Ihave never done. She's the cat whisperer. She got my most timid and shy cat, Chino to sit and meow for treats. Now when she comes over to visit, they hover around her like she's their queen. I have never seen anything like it. She's sensitive to my fur babies' needs and they adore her!”

“Cheyenne was a blessing to me and my dog in my time of need and I am forever grateful. She comes highly recommended because of her attention to detail, care and concern.”

Lindsey B.
“Lindsey is the most caring and compassionate woman you will ever meet. She has been a pet owner her entire life and has so lovingly cared for each fur baby that has been in her life. From dogs to cats and birds, Lindsey has an intuitive understanding of caring for animals. Not only will you, personally, be delighted to meet Lindsey, but your fur baby will love her, also. She’s friendly, caring, and very respectful and responsible in her life. She will bring the utmost highest of standards to you and the care of your pets. I highly recommend Lindsey for any and all of your pet care needs. You have struck gold with Lindsey.”

Casey S.
“Casey has been caring for my dogs and cats while I am away for years, and she has been exceptionally good with them. They always seem so happy when I pick them up, and I can have peace of mind that they are having fun, exercising, and being treated with respect when with Casey. I have a small dog with behavioral issues who can be difficult to find care for, and Casey meets him where he's at, respects his boundaries, and he LOVES her! This dog doesn't love anyone! Would highly recommend Casey.”

Sandra K.

Evan W.
“Evan is a coworker of mine and heard me asking someone else if they could watch my cat Jasper over a long holiday weekend. He offered to watch him for me, despite it being rather inconvenient for him. Jasper is a difficult cat. He is 22 pounds and has severe play aggression and is unpredictable. He gets nervous around new people. The day after we left, Evan was sending me photos and videos of him spending time with and playing with Jasper. I appreciated how often he communicated with me (every time he went to check on him) and would send pictures and videos. Jasper was healthy and happy the whole time, and he was in good shape when we returned to him after 5 days!”

Savannah & Silas W.

“Savannah and Silas were great with our two dachshunds! They even took extra time to help the dogs feel more at ease with them. They were also very quick to respond and provide updates. Definitely recommend!”

Myah H.
“Dogs naturally gravitate towards Myah because they can sense her kind, gentle soul. Dog mom of a rescue, Myah pays close attention to dogs' body language to make sure they're comfortable. She's always at-the-ready with poop bags and water, excited for a new adventure. I'd trust Myah watching a small human, so I'm more than confident leaving my furry best friend with her!”

Erin M.

“Erin was extremely kind and patient with my two babies. She gave me updates twice a day daily and took very good care of them. I didnt have to worry at all. Thank you!”

Kim O.Star Sitter

“Kim did amazing! Her updates were great and the pictures gave us peace of mind. It was wonderful to have our dogs home and not in a kennel. I would recommend Kim to anyone and we will definitely reach out to her again if we need her.”
