Elisha was wonderful! She last minute was able to pick up our dog walk request and was quick to communicate with me to set up times that worked best for us both. From the many pictures she sent of our pup on her walk, I can tell that she was happy and tired after! 10/10 recommend and I would definitely have her walk my girl again!

I was very comfortable during our first meeting. Dakota is warm, friendly and it did not take long for my girl to warm up to her with a few treats. She has been walking my little girl on a repeat now for several weeks. I highly recommend her.

Kaylena is great with our Gidget! She is dependable and arrives on time and she really seems to love taking care of our dog. Gidget loves hanging out with her too and seems to know when a visit from Kaylena is coming - she gets excited when she hears us talk about Kaylena and her tail wags say it all!

About: I’ve been a pet mom for over 40 years and have spent more than 30 years caring for pets for friends and family. My mom runs a cat rescue and is a former vet tech, which gave me a strong understanding of proper, attentive pet care from an early age. I’m also a trusted real estate agent with over 23 years of experience, which reflects my commitment to being reliable and trustworthy. I take pride in being genuine, well-liked, and someone people can depend on. I have a flexible work schedule and am highly organized when it comes to managing appointments and commitments. If I am unable to assist, I will always respond promptly so you can make other arrangements without delay. I am happy to provide care in your home and follow all instructions you provide to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment. I understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and needs, and I take care to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests exactly as directed.

About: I have LOTS of experience handling and caring for dogs and cats (and birds). I am the person that everyone calls when they see an injured animals or lost pet roaming the streets. My love for all things furry (and hairless too) is beyond measurable. I am ready to walk your loved one and make sure they are safe, and getting their excessive! Want a photo of your baby? No problem! Want a video of your baby? No problem! I currently work from home so your pet will never be alone for long periods of time. I am available most days anytime after 10:00 am. If you are looking for a morning dog walk just let me know and I can try to make it work 🙂 I have a fenced in yard. I have two dogs of my own who can easily adapt to your baby with proper introduction :-). I have kids who have learned to respect all animals. You do not have to worry about kids hanging on your pet or pulling their tail. Animals respect is first and foremost in our household. I also have two birds. About: Love many different types of animals and have pet sat for many people in my family over the years. From my experience every dog has liked me. I have minimal knowledge in training dogs. And can adapt my environment to fit the personality of the dog. Im currently in college, so Mondays-Thursdays are busy for me but I am almost always available Friday-Sundays. On the warmer days I like to go for a walk around the neighborhood and back. I have a fare sized fenced yard. A 8-year-old yorkie, he is very sweet and friendly with other dogs, not much of a barker. Two other reptiles locked in their tanks, the will never be a concern with them they are very small.

About: **Currently only providing "at your home" care, to include housesitting, overnights, drop-ins, and walks. As my regular pup parents know, we are moving, but once settled in, will resume with boarding. If your interest is in house sitting, I can provide you with a schedule of what that would look like for your pet/pets. :0) I have cared for dogs for quite some time. Currently, I am in-between dogs, so have none of my own (we do have an adorable hamster named "Theodore"). I am an animal lover and understand the importance of your pet to you. I have an 11 year old daughter, so need peace of mind your pet enjoys children. My daughter is very much a part of my pet care life. And knows the do's and don't(s). We are animal lovers, and truly enjoy every moment. I have an unfenced yard and my home backs to over an acre of common area. I have a moderate-size deck that I gate. I live in a residential neighborhood with plenty of space for walks. I have plenty of space within my home for entertaining your furry buddy. At the moment I work full time from home. Sometimes I work part time for the Harford County Public (elementary) School System. I enjoy spending time in the comfort of my home. I miss all of my prior pups and am so happy when they return for a visit. I generally take pets in my care for a walk three times a day. They will be taken outside for pee/poop breaks often. The majority of my pup parents choose to board in my home. If you are boarding your pet, you are welcome to bring your dog's bed, I have an extra large crate for safety concerns, so you can leave your crate at home, and please bring any other comfort items your pet enjoys. I always place a gate between my front door and living space. And your pet, unless I need to step out for groceries, or to drop a child at ballet, will always be under my watchful eye; otherwise crated, or gated, in a secure area. Safety is my #1 priority.

About: I started using Rover to find a dog walker and soon used it to find a dog sitter. I have had such an amazing experience that I wanted to provide that same experience to others. I have had dogs of all sizes and breeds my entire life and so am happy to take care of any breed or size. I recently had to say goodbye to my 15 year old Weimaraner and so have experience with older dogs as well. I mostly work from home (I go into the office 1-2 days a week) so have a lot of flexibility! I am generally free 9a‐5p Monday-Friday and some availability on Saturday and Sunday. I’ve had dogs of all sizes and breeds throughout my life, so I’m comfortable caring for any dog, big or small. I have a mini Goldendoodle who loves to cuddle, so I’m an expert at giving plenty of affection and attention. She also loves to play fetch and be chased, and I’d be happy to do the same with your pup. I can provide long walks, playtime, and caring check-ins to help keep your dog happy and comfortable.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
