Crate training, basic commands, potty training. Very familiar with positive reinforcement and am happy to incorporate it. I currently work full time in Baltimore city and am working on my graduate degree (online). While I’m mostly available on weekends, my schedules are flexible and often change with the seasons. Have a dog park and trail within walking distance of my own home. Am familiar with parks and dog-friendly walking/hiking trails around the Bel Air area.

About: I have been pet sitting, walking and caring since I was in grade school. Growing up I had the best dog in the world whom I would walk, and play with everyday. I recently lost her to age related causes. But there is nothing more I desire than to show up for other pups and give them the love and care I always gave my Jessie! I am a student, I would be able to walk your pup after class, preferably 11:30 would be a great time for my available days, but I am free every Friday morning too. I am also extremely active and love being outdoors! I do not offer service in my home but I will treat all my clients homes with love and care! As well as tend to any and all needs.

About: I’ve been a pet mom for over 40 years and have spent more than 30 years caring for pets for friends and family. My mom runs a cat rescue and is a former vet tech, which gave me a strong understanding of proper, attentive pet care from an early age. I’m also a trusted real estate agent with over 23 years of experience, which reflects my commitment to being reliable and trustworthy. I take pride in being genuine, well-liked, and someone people can depend on. I have a flexible work schedule and am highly organized when it comes to managing appointments and commitments. If I am unable to assist, I will always respond promptly so you can make other arrangements without delay. I am happy to provide care in your home and follow all instructions you provide to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment. I understand that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and needs, and I take care to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special requests exactly as directed.

About: I have been dogsitting for a few years now. I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, and overnight stays. I also have got to dogsit many different breeds. I am currently a graduate student and work at a golf club on weekends. I fit dogsitting into my schedule by being able to make time before and after classes to take care of them. In a clients home I respect their space and am able to care for the dog while maintaining safety for their pet. I would like clients to trust me with their pet and within their home take care of them!
About: Hello there! I am Sam! What makes me a good canadate to watch your furry family member? Well, in my family there has been an animal companion for as long as I can remember. We have had dogs, gerbils, and fish! I have even been described as having potential to become a crazy cat lady. I have had my fair share of exsperience with older dogs who need special care as my own dog was blind the last couple years of her life and I have the rudimentarys of training dogs as I trainded both my blind dog and my current dog sit, down, stay, come, paw, spin, leave-it, and the like. Above all I look forward to spending time with some new furry friends. Currently, I am working part time and I have my own dog, Stormy. So, I am used to the daily tasks of animal care and adding your pet into the mix would'nt change much! On days where I don't work I stay home or have the ablity to take my dog to the dog park or for a long walk. On days I do work I'm gone for no more than six hours. I live in an apartment but I have a big safe neighborhood to walk your dog in as well as a dog park very close by for even more play. I have my own dog, Stormy to keep your dog company on walks or at home. I also have the ability to crate my dog wether the two need some space or they don't mix well. A safe enviroment is my top priority.
About: Hi! My name is MaKenzi and I have had pets as long as I can remember, I grew up with two pitbulls rescues, two smaller dogs, and an older cat that I assumed most of the care for as both parents worked full time jobs. Taking care of multiple animals at one time requires a lot of energy and the ability to organize the things they need well but I learned very quickly! Since I have lived on my own I have helped friends and coworkers with taking care of their beloved fur babies while they’re on vacation or just need an extra hand with their pets. In the last year I have rescued my own kitten and I have absolutely spoiled her with all of the patience, love, affection, and extra care that her heart could desire.

About: I have always had dogs in my life, both big and small. Since high school, I have pet sat for friends, neighbors, and family. Last summer, I regularly cared for a French bulldog puppy, which gave me hands on experience with younger dogs. I would love and appreciate the opportunity to help care for your pets! I have recently graduated from Towson University with my bachelors in Environmental Science. I am also volunteering with Phoenix Wildlife center on Tuesdays while I search for a job! I have time during the week to fill and would love to drop in, walk, or board your pets! I live with my mom, sister, and stepdad but I am the primary care taker. We have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of love to give! I am also a reptile owner and keep a Plated lizard in a secure enclosure in my room, so I am comfortable with unique pets. When sitting in a client's home, I am highly respectful of your space, and my attention goes entirely to keeping your pet happy and safe. I would love and appreciate the opportunity to help care for your pets!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
