2. Rodney J.

“Rodney is fantastic! It was our first time using Rover and he made us comfortable. He was able to answer all of our questions, and address our concerns before our trip. He went above and beyond while staying with our pets. My dogs loved him and he was very communicative and provided constant updates. I would highly recommend Rodney, and plan on using him moving forward!”

3. Sydney F.

“Sydney is fantastic! She house-sat for me at my house and my dogs loved her. She communicated with me through the the trip and even had some suggestions for me for behavior training. I will definitely use Sydney again in the future!”

4. Kent K.

“Words can not describe how well not only my two dogs but my house was taken care of when I left. I already have anxiety leaving my girls but he always answers his phone and is very attentive. Can not recommend him enough. Very professional and I came home to happy and exhausted pups. Thanks Kent.”

5. Evan G.

“Evan was GREAT ! He contacted me very quickly regarding a medical concern one of my Great Danes was having. He was very quick to reply to all my messages and sent smiling pictures of the dogs to put me at ease. I was especially surprised to see the floors and bedding washed and clean upon my arrival. My Danes fell in love with him during the meet and greet visit and will definitely use him for all our dog care needs. Cora”

6. Allison V.
“Allison is a current cat Pet Parent and is solely responsible for care of him. She does a great job with feeding him and cleaning his litter box. She is his person and I can usually find them cuddled up together. She would love on your pet as much as she loves her own.”

7. Lauren E.

“Lauren is great! Our pets warmed up to her right away at the meet and greet, she was on time, and she sent me lots of updates. It's so nice to be able to get away while knowing my babies are in good hands! Thank you Lauren!!”

8. Mikaila B.

“Mikaila was a true God Send. She was kind, gentle, and attentive. Paloma and I are beyond grateful for being able to connect with her. I was close to giving up on Rover due to bad experiences, but meeting Mikaila and connecting her with my Paloma changed that. Her caretaking and attentiveness allow for the peace of mind and comfort pet owners endlessly search for. Highly recommended”

11. Brittany J.

“Brittany helped us in a pinch and was so good with our Great Dane, Rosemary. We appreciated her responsiveness and all the photos and videos she sent of their time together. She clearly has a genuine love for dogs and knows how to care for them. We came home to a happy and relaxed pup and couldn't be more grateful. Rose made a new friend, and we look forward to using her services again. We highly recommend Brittany to anyone looking for a thoughtful and reliable dog sitter!”

12. Anne T.

“As a new dog-mom, and first-time Rover user, I had some anxiety about leaving someone I didn’t know to care for my young dog & senior cat for five days. I immediately liked Anne’s energy. She’s professional, capable, and trust-worthy. She helped to ease my mind and kept in constant contact while I was away which allowed me to truly enjoy my much needed vacation stress-free. I highly recommend her!”

13. Brandy B.
About: I am new to Rover, but have been a pet/housesitter with TrustedHousesitters since 2018 and MindMyHouse since 2022. I am available for long term (7+days) in home pet sits anywhere. I am a snowbird, who lives in NE Indiana the rest of the year. If I happen to be in your area and don’t need to stay overnight in your home, I’m open to just stopping by and walking them. Just send me a message and we can figure it out. I am a social introvert, who enjoys spending time with animals, volunteering, babysitting, exploring, reading, gardening, photography and using my creative side as much as possible. I LOVE going on adventures with the pups that I sit for. Everywhere outdoors that I go, they go (if the pet owner approves). I am also just as content cuddling up with them at home. I bring over 30 years of experience in house/pet sitting. I have bonded with so many sweet pets (of all ages, sizes and breeds), made great friends with their owners, and have been blessed to be invited back by all of them (please see my 5 star reviews under my photos). I am very capable of sitting for multiple pets, while caring for your home, yard, plants, and pool. I grew up in a family of 7 and my parents raised us to be independent and self-sufficient. I have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation, therefore I have no trouble driving up to 16 hours to do a house sit. I am honest, reliable, clean, and respectful of other people's homes. I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. I am very frugal and I strive to live a zero waste lifestyle. I have extensive experience with gardening, plant care, and yard maintenance. I worked as a florist for 10 years and have always had a garden and eclectic selection of plants of my own. Finally, I love photography and will most likely send you lots of cute photos of your pets. I work remotely five days a week and am able to be around your pets throughout the day to ensure they have the love and attention that they need. I will care for your pet in your home and can stay up to 1-3 months if I’m traveling. Locally, I’m only available for in home pet sits that are 3 days or longer. If I happen to be in your area and don’t need to stay overnight in your home, I’m open to just stopping by and walking them. Just send me a message and we can figure it out. Please see my reviews from my pet sitting experience via TrustedHousesitters.

14. Kylee B.
About: I have taken care of dogs for a few years now. After getting my first dog, I learned quickly how it was like to care for one, and I love every minute of it! I am a current college student and was looking to do more on the side. I have most availability Monday through Thursday and some Fridays. I will care for pets in my clients home by protecting and looking after their dog at all times because their safety is what is most important to me!

15. Hailey S.

“Hailey was great! We used her as a sitter for our dog on our wedding night! She was kind and communicated well. Gunner had a great time. We definitely will be using her to watch him again!”

16. Brodey B.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive knowledge of animal behavior, my commitment to personalized care, and my ability to handle various pet needs, including administering medications and managing special diets. Additionally, I prioritize communication with pet owners to ensure peace of mind while they are away. Pet care fits into my daily routine by incorporating regular feeding, exercise, and playtime for pets. Weekly, I ensure maintaining open communication with pet owners about their pets' well-being. I have multiple references that can assure you your dog will be in the best hands when you chose to take a vacation or whatever it might be.

17. Aveline A.
“Aveline is one of my bestest friends. She has babysat my dogs while I was on vacation before and as far as I’m concerned she did a great job and everyone was taken care of. I know she has had animals her whole life and she really does care. She recently got her own personal dog and he’s one of most well trained dogs that I know. I think she would do a great job in Rover considering her experience with babysitting and house sitting her bosses kids and dog.”

18. Hunter J.

“Hunter is very attentive and spoiled my dog. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter. I was very nervous and hesitant leaving my baby for so long but hunter gave me updates and was very transparent with us. Lucy got walks and plenty of play time would definitely hire again. The only thing I wished I would have done was been more upfront about what Lucy’s schedule was like but I was still learning how all this worked but hunter fit right in and helped Lucy adapt and did an amazing job.”

19. Justin N.

20. Katy K.
About: I am looking to fill up my schedule this summer. I have experience in small farms and multi-animal families.I have house/dog sat many times and have always been invited back by families. I currently have 1 dog, 1 cat, a rabbit, and 2 goats! I can walk your dog, give it a bath, and I am experienced in medication administration and senior pets. I am currently available all day, every day at the moment. I can stay with your dog all day or I can stop in from time to time for play time. When taking care of other people's pets, I always ask about any habits the dog might have such as biting, aggression, things they love, etc. I take that information and try to make the animal feel as safe as possible. If the dog is most comfortable staying on the leash and going for a walk then I will make sure that happens, but if you would like the dog to roam around, I can do that too!
