I currently a part time student and can help you look after your dogs. I can check in on them or take them for walks if you can’t get home in time before they need to go out. About: After working at 2 vet clinics while going to Carrington college for their vet tech program I was almost able to finish my degree. However I injured my wrists at the same time working at Starbucks. So since then I decided to hone my dog training skills and trained my own service dog using balanced training methods. I've watched hundreds of hours of videos and applied what I learned. My schedule revolves around dogs and cats. When not doing rover I work for a doggy daycare less hours than part time. I will do my best to keep my schedule up to date with it. As of right now I am called in as needed so I can request time off if a booking is made. My yard is fenced with a thick wall that is at least 6 feet high. I also have part of it lined in playpens to section off the dog part.

About: Growing up with dogs has instilled in me a deep love and understanding of their needs. For the past four years, I've had the pleasure of helping friends, family, and neighbors care for their furry companions. I’m excited to extend my services and meet more wonderful dogs. With my experience and passion for pet care, I am committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment for your pets. I work three days a week on night shifts, while my wife works during the day. This means there is always someone at home to provide constant care and attention to your pups. Our unique schedule allows me to have plenty of time to take the dogs out for walks, playtime, and give them the affection they deserve. I have a spacious backyard with plenty of grass for your dogs to run and play, as well as a shaded concrete area for them to relax and stay cool. My home is exceptionally pet-friendly, designed to ensure your pup feels comfortable and secure. Inside, they can enjoy the climate-controlled environment, whether they need air conditioning in the summer or heating in the winter. Your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture, explore the cozy spaces, and make themselves at home. I strive to provide a nurturing and fun environment where your furry friend can feel like part of the family while you're away.

“Eva took phenomenal care of our cat while we were away for a few weeks. She followed our instructions to a T and even went above and beyond to clean the floors multiple times whenever our cat made a huge mess. Eva kept us updated with photos and notes, and was an excellent communicator all around. We're so grateful and fortunate to have found Eva and would not hesitate to entrust our pets with her in the future.”

“Gianina is amazing! Every time she watches my cat he is excited to see her and comes out to greet her. He never comes out for anyone but us, and now her. We are so relaxed now when we travel knowing he has her.”

About: I've had dogs all my life. I'm excited to have the opportunity to share what I've learned by having dogs myself. I'm good with all types of dogs and I have the patience to deal with all types of doggie behavior. I live in a gated dog friendly community that has plenty of areas for dogs to smell and do their business. My nights are flexible and I can accommodate to almost any schedule. Let me know if you have any questions! I work from home so my dog (and yours!) always has someone to be with. Walks and cuddles are frequent as are toys and treats. My dog is free to roam around the house and lay wherever he’d like. The same would be said for your dog at my house. He also takes special medication twice a day so I am very aware of him and how he’s feeling. I would do the same for your dog. I am here as an extension of you, so if there are any needs your dog has I am happy to accommodate to. Outside of the home, unless in an enclosed area specific for dogs, I always have them on a leash for their protection and mine.

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and everything in between. That experience taught me how to read animal behavior, stay calm in any situation, and build trust quickly. I have a naturally calming presence and tend to bond easily with pets — even the shy or nervous ones. Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior dog who needs a gentle touch, I’m here to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Right now, I'm fully available for pet care — it's my main focus this summer. I'm not working a separate job, so I have the flexibility to give your pets the time, attention, and care they need, whether that's regular walks, playtime, or just good company throughout the day. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to walks and playtime — and I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs. I keep things clean, calm, and low-stress, and I’m happy to send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and in good hands.

“Everything was great with Maria taking care of our cat. He needs heart medication administered twice a day (in a pill pocket), so we needed someone reliable. Cats aren't always easy to watch because they are wary of new people, but Maria powered through and made sure Loki was cared for...even when he insisted on hiding under the bed! Thanks, Maria!”

North Hayward pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amie is just amazing with my crazy lab puppy! She’s so patient and genuinely enjoys my dog which I really appreciate. She’s my go-to Rover gal!

Erin was great! She was very communicative and diligent! She followed all our instructions perfectly and our cat loved her!

She did an excellent job and made sure to follow all the directions left. It was important to her to establish trust with our cats and she made sure to contact me right away if there was any potential issues. Would highly recommended her and will continue to book her for future cat sitting visits.

My pets are always in good hands with Angela. She is prompt and gives lots of love and attention to my fur babies while I’m gone. She sends photo updates and messages to keep me in the daily loop of activities!

Mary is exceptional. Apart from taking great care of our two cats while we were gone for a week, unfortunately one of our cats got sick. She communicated with us and ensure she got taken care of. Cant thank her enough for that. Would definitely recommend her.

Liz is so great! She’s warm and friendly and adores animals! She was patient and kind with our somewhat nervous dog and our dog was able to warm up to her. I’ll definitely use her again!

Nola is so trustworthy with my girl Angel. Not only was she able to accommodate caring for Angel last minute, but ensures that the care she needs (especially post surgery procedure) is full of care, trust and attentiveness. Highly recommend Nola.

Kept me up to date with how Rae was doing every day and her food area clean ( even when ants decided to help themselves ! ) . Will absolutely recommend Mariah to anyone looking for someone to take care of their fur babies . Thank you Mariah!

We only had Lisa Marie stop by for one day but we’re verify happy with her service! Instructions were followed and there was good communication. There was only one minor misunderstanding which wasn’t too big of a deal. We’d be glad to have Lisa look after our kitties again

Desiree did a great job with the drop in visits for our cat Cece. She took care of giving her food and ensuring her water and litter was clean. She also played with Cece and gave her the love and affection she needed. Desiree sent us detailed reports every day along with videos of Cece. I would strongly recommend Desiree to anyone needing someone to look after their cat.

Nicole was a wonderful sitter for our 3 kitties. Very prompt visits and always sent update photos. Would highly recommend her for any future needs!

Angie was FANTASTIC with communication and took great care of our elderly kitty. She really went above and beyond while she cat sit for us, including starting some things in the wash that our precious girl soiled badly. We will definitely try to book her again!

I wanted Juejin again for my second time thought I somehow searching in the wrong place. However I was able to book her for a 2nd time. I would certainly keep her as a permanent sitter, however her area will be changing. Her new location area will be getting a very valued and dependable person for drop-in visits. I recommend her highly.
