About: I am a licensed Veterinary Technician with 12 years of experience caring for pets medical needs. I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and pocket pets. I am qualified to provide your pet with some medical care, monitor their health, give medications, feed, clean, scoop litter boxes, take them on walks, play and give them lots of love. I can also transport them to your veterinarian or groomer when you are not able to. Most importantly , I can give you peace of mind when you are away from them. Whether your pet has typical or special needs, I am here for you. I have 3 cats and 1 dog and have had a variety of animals throughout my life. I am currently working part time in the evenings so can be fully available daily for your pets walking, in home care, medical needs or transportation. Evenings and overnights may be available on request. I do not offer care in my home. I will come to your home where your pet feels most comfortable. We have both been pet owners our entire lives and absolutely love caring for other pets as well as our own 3 (G + Sadie + Toby — Chihuahua Mix + Rat Terrier + Jack Russel Terrier). We own a home in Jacksonville just off 295 on the west side with a large fenced-in backyard and quiet neighborhood. So lots of walking, running around and play time if you were to have your pet stay here with us and our 3 pups! Our babies are typically social but at the very least tolerant of other dogs as long as the dog is not too hyper or trying to mess with them. My husband and I both work from home so your baby(s) will get non stop attention. We only board small to medium size dogs (less than 30 pounds, some exceptions - feel free to ask). Your dog(s) must get along with other dogs or at least tolerate them. All dogs are separated at feeding times. We are used to serving regular dry, wet, mixtures, raw foods, and administering medications including injectables. With our flexible schedule, we will have plenty of time to walk, play and/or love your pet(s). Our home is extremely safe and doors are always locked (even when we are home). Our neighbors are all extremely nice. Our dogs typically lay on the couch, in their dog beds in our office or on our bed. All get lots of love, pets and treats every day 🙂
