“Angela is a lifesaver! I have been working extra at the hospital every weekend due to Covid and her coming to walk my dog every morning that I work has been priceless. Her positive, upbeat and energetic attitude is just what my 8 month old Labrador needs after being in the house all night. And with my hurt back, just what I need after a 12 hour shift on my feet. I haven't used Angela for other services yet other than dog walking, but when I need them, she'll be the first one I ask. She is punctual, responsible, considerate, full of energy and always puts a smile on my Sochi's face!”

About: Hi, I’m Aden! I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently care for two dogs, two cats, and several fish tanks, so I’m experienced with many different needs and personalities. I love going on walks, spending time outdoors, so making sure pets get the exercise, attention, and love they deserve won’t be a problem at all. Animals tend to warm up to me quickly, and I always treat them like family, so you can have peace of mind while you are away My schedule is somewhat set in stone, I work weekdays from 6:00am–4:30pm and some Saturdays from 6:00am–2:30pm, which means I’m available most afternoons, evenings, and weekends to care for your pets. I’m committed to making sure they get the attention, walks, and playtime they need outside of my work hours. When I’m caring for pets in your home, I make their safety and routine my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions you provide to keep things consistent and stress-free. I always keep an eye on doors, leashes, and environments to ensure your pets stay safe, whether we’re indoors or out on a walk. I’m also comfortable providing extra care if needed, such as administering medications or handling special routines. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are well cared for while you’re away.
“Renee and Fritz did a wonderful job walking my dog. It was an extremely hot week here and they demonstrated special care in his heat tolerance. Being sure to notice when he needed to stop for water. Noah is a finicky dog, but he took to them right away. I would not hesitate to use them in the future”

About: Hi, I’m Elizabeth! 👋 I’m a full-time, stay-at-home mom with two sweet kids, Bennett and Myka, and together we’ve created Bennett & Myka’s Pup Retreat—a safe, loving family home where dogs are cared for like our own. I’ve been working with animals for over 15 years and can’t imagine life without them. I started pet sitting at just 8 years old, then went on to volunteer at a local animal shelter for more than 10 years, work as a veterinary assistant, and gain hands-on experience at a professional dog boarding and training facility. I also competed in dog obedience and agility, giving me advanced skills in training, handling, and understanding dogs of all temperaments. I even provided services on Rover while living in Indiana, building wonderful repeat clients before taking a pause to focus on my career and move to Kentucky. Now that I’m home full-time again, I’m thrilled to reopen my doors to pups in need of safe, reliable, and loving care. 🐶 What sets my care apart: Full-time availability → dogs are never left alone for long. Structured routine → dogs are crated overnight and when I step out for everyone’s safety. Cozy environment → dogs are welcome on furniture in certain rooms, with dog beds and crates available for comfort. Specialized care → experience with puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, and medication management. Professional background → kennel, vet assistant, agility/obedience, and decades of hands-on care. Calm, intuitive approach → I read animal body language to keep every pet safe, happy, and stress-free. At Bennett & Myka’s Pup Retreat, your dog won’t just be “watched”—they’ll become part of our family. 💕 🐾 Why My Rates Reflect My Care My rates reflect the level of professional experience and structure I bring to every booking. With over 15 years of hands-on animal care—including veterinary assisting, kennel and training facility work, dog obedience and agility competitions, and a decade of shelter volunteering—I offer far more than basic pet sitting. Pets in my care receive constant supervision, structured routines, enrichment activities, and individualized attention in a safe, loving family environment. Choosing me means peace of mind that your pet is cared for by someone who treats them like family and understands their needs on a professional level. Pet care is fully built into my daily routine. As a full-time stay-at-home mom, I’m home throughout the day to give dogs constant love, attention, and supervision. Our day includes regular potty breaks, neighborhood walks, playtime in the fenced backyard, and enrichment activities like puzzle toys or sprinkler fun for water-loving pups. I also enjoy bringing my kids and dogs on safe adventures, so your pup gets exercise, socialization, and lots of affection. Whether your dog needs high-energy play or quiet companionship, I tailor their schedule to fit their unique needs. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. During the day, dogs enjoy structured routines with play, exercise, and supervised free time. With a lifetime of experience—including work at a boarding and training facility, volunteering, and competing in obedience and agility—I know how to keep pets safe, happy, and well managed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their rules and routines, ensuring consistency and respect for their space. Whether it’s boarding, daycare, walks, or visits, each pet receives individualized attention, supervision, and lots of love, so you can feel confident they are safe and cared for like family.
