About: Experience with reactive dogs, large dogs, and dogs working on training programs. Positive reinforcement and prioritizing the comfort of the dogs in my care is a MUST. My schedule allows for ample flexibility to meet your needs! Early morning feedings are never a problem for this early riser, and frequent potty break needs are never a worry! I have a service dog who typically accompanies me in all that I do and he loves to play with new friends, though I do have some capacity to leave him in the event of reactive pups on my schedule! I also have a fenced yard if your dog needs space to run in a safe and controlled environment.

“Amber was awesome. She was brave enough to take on my 9 week old puppy and did an amazing job with him. She sent me an update every morning complete with a picture of a sleepy puppy. I will definitely ask her to watch him in the future ?”

About: I am happy to tailor my care to the needs of your family and your furriest family members. Every dog moves at a little bit of a different pace in terms of building trust, and I will meet them where they are at with patience and understanding. Whether they have a lot of exuberance or zoomies to express, or need frequent, short walks and a whole lot of rest and cuddles, I will meet them there. My schedule is flexible at this time, and I have quite a bit of availability. Weekdays are generally more open, but I am often able to accommodate weekends as well. In my home, I do not have any pets or small children. We live rurally, with access to many nearby trails through the forest and Nooksack River. Dogs are required to be leashed on our land to protect wildlife, but there are nearby places to run off-leash if that is what works best for your dog. If I am caring for your pets in your home, I am happy to follow whatever guidelines we agree upon together. It is of utmost importance to me to operate from a place of trust and be respectful of your home.

About: I've had dogs for the past 16 years. I lost my latest girl, an English Springer Spaniel , in 2025 and while I'm not ready for my own I truly miss walking and loving on a dog. I'm retired so my schedule is pretty open at this point. I can be available at short notice or for extended stays when needed. I'm very reliable. I am unable to care for pets in my home at this time. That may change in the future but it is not possible now.

“Julianna fit really well with what we thought our dog, Vixie, needed. Vixie has separation anxiety and Julianna was willing to go the extra mile to keep Vixie happy. Walks, treats, cuddles all worked. I would ask Julianna to sit again if the need arose. Thanks, Julianna.”

“Janette did a fantastic job house and pet sitting for us. She made sure to send pictures and updates multiple times a day. She treated our dogs very well, they were both very happy with her! I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again when needed.”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and most recently had an American bulldog mix. I have experience with reactive dogs and if you have one you can feel confident I will avoid their triggers and not put them in compromising situations. I also have experience with large breed dogs but love the smaller ones as well! I am very flexible, I can walk the same route every time or switch it up. I also love trail walks if your dog does too :) rain or snow or shine I am quite flexible with whatever your dog needs, including if they aren’t the best at walking on a leash yet! You can trust I will care and look after your dog like they are my own! I work Monday to Friday, 8:30-4:30 so can be available outside of those hours and on weekends for your pet needs! Early morning visits can be scheduled as well depending on the location. As a previous owner of a reactive dog who had many allergies, I know how anxiety inducing it can be to trust someone else with your pet! This includes weather related concerns in the extreme heat or cold.
