About: Both my husband and I have grown up with dogs and love spending our time with them. For the past five years, we’ve regularly cared for friends' and neighbours pups while they’re away on vacation. About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner.
