About: Hi my name is Dana! I am currently a stay-at-home working mom. I am available for care in my home for 1 dog as we have one male dog already. I know how important it is to find a good, safe and happy place for your dog while you are away. We would be happy to do a meet and greet to make sure that our home is the perfect fit for your dog! I work from home but also transport a child 3 times a day. I can take the dog with me if needed but I’m not usually gone more than 30 minutes. We have a mostly fenced in yard. We have wetlands/canal on one side and a river on one side. Not currently taking escape artists! LOL

I am very experienced with administering medicine if needed and caring for those with special needs. My husband and I have always had our own fur babies (toy and standard poodles), but do not have any currently. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care for going up stairs, I can stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary. Being on the furniture or bed is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous during a thunderstorm or other loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.
About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life. I currently 1 dog at home. She is a young German Shorthair Pointer with a ton of energy! I have a lot of experience with special needs dogs and have dealt with pets with extreme separation anxiety in the past. I believe that there is nothing better than a clean, healthy, happy dog. I don’t mind cleaning the yard, washing your dogs, or making their food for them. If your dog has a specific place that they love going, I definitely do not mind taking them there.
