“C'Aundra stayed with our pup for a second time, and we're so glad she did! We are so appreciative of her flexibility and support for Wynnie, who was recently injured and needed some additional care including medication and leashed potty/outside time.”
“Laine was amazing, she made sure my shy cat felt not only at ease but happy. My cat is usually shy but he is completely in love with her to the point that after I came back he kept looking for her!! She is the best pet sitter I've had far best, definitely will ask her to pet sit again in a second.”

About: I learned everything I know about pet-care at the vet I worked with many years ago. There my love and passion for animal…especially dogs… grew. It was also there that I learned cats are not my favorite. 🥴 Though I learned a lot from my time working at the vet, I realized that seeing animals suffering or in pain was not something I could do on a daily basis. That realization led me to this job. In my spare time I enjoy my community at Life.Church. Service there has taught me the importance of consistency and reliability. I was recently given a new mental diagnosis, and having my community, my family and my therapist surround me with love and support has been life-changing for me. I would love to get to know you and your furry family members! Because this is my full-time job, I have open availability, and would love to help with scheduled or drop-in visits. Please just leave written instructions that I can recall later, as your pup will not be my only furry client I will need to care for. I have loved dogs ever since I can remember. While I do enjoy my work as a house sitter, watching and caring for dogs is what brings me the most purpose. I have experience with big and little dogs, so whether you have a golden retriever or a Shih Tzu, rest assured, they will be well taken care of.

I’m currently working at a pet store I love working there and meeting all the different animals that walk through the doors I’d be happy to do these on my days off and work it into my routine I’m able to help with meds and do whatever is needed to help your baby feel comfortable I gave it harnesses on dogs and crate them if needed. “Kyelene was so wonderful with all our animals and the responsibilities of our entire household. She was Beth attentive and communicated with me regularly. I hope to have her back at our house for our next adventure. Thank you, Kyelene!!”

“Misty took such phenomenal care of our pets! She sent regular updates and pics that showed the pets both happy and being themselves, and she spent lots of time with them every day. When we arrived home, both our pets were calm, well fed, and happy. I could tell that she had done a great job not just meeting all their needs but also giving them affection and helping them feel safe while we were traveling. So thankful that we were able to leave our pets in such good hands!”

About: I spent all day at home to take care my cat. Feed, wash their hair every week, and some time take them go outside to hangout I'm a student. I have a plenty of time to play with cat. I go to school from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Sometime I learn at home I have a friendly cat at my home. She is very friendly and maybe shy a litte bit. “Emily was so caring for our pets and left our house spotless. You wouldn't even know she stayed over for 3 nights. She checked in frequently and made sure to follow all of our instructions. We would love to hire Emily again to watch our pets.”
“Mary was awesome!! This was my first time ever using this app or anything like this to watch my dogs. The experience was so great that this is the only way I will do it going forward and it will be Mary that I use. I loved the fact that she would send me pics so I could see them having fun! Thank you Mary you did an awesome job!!!”

“This was my first time using Rover but I needed a way to find a house sitter that knew what they were doing. I booked Arianna because she had good reviews, available for the booking, and cheaper. I have 4 dogs so I needed someone with a lower “additional dog fee”. She watched them about 10 days. When returning home, I didn’t find any bathroom accidents or tore up furniture. She fed them twice a day and gave my pit an allergy pill each day. I did not require any dog walking. When going out of town, I will use her again.”

About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life. My sweet Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2025, but when he was here he loved being a pal to all doggos and kiggies. Honoring his memory, I will care for your sweet critter with the same love and attention I have always shown to all creatures. I have one cat, who is aloof, but peaceful. Fenced yard, kiddie pool in the summer, and I am totally okay if your baby needs to dig a hole in the yard. This is a safe space for critters to be their authentic selves. I’m work during the week, so I am only available Friday after 5pm through Sunday at 9pm. I don’t go out on the weekends, so I’m totally dialed in to seeing to your pet’s needs for pottying, walkies, snuggles, and anything else that helps them cope with having their human be absent for brief times. I have a large fenced yard. The grass is soft, but I’m okay with them getting a lil diggy time in if needed. The neighborhood is safe and there is a beautiful park nearby for walkies. I also have a pet stroller if your furry fren needs the accommodation.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of September 2026, there are 204 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Ninnescah. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Ninnescah walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Ninnescah maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Ninnescah choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Ninnescah. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 90% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
