“Mandy did great under challenging circumstances. This was our first time using a sitter since getting the dog from the Humane Society a year ago, and the dog took us by surprise with stranger anxiety - not wanting to be touched or approached and urine accidents. I take the blame - In hindsight I should have arranged trial stay(s) many months in advance of our weeklong trip, not just a meet and greet a week in advance. Mandy handled it well. She persevered despite the accidents and communicated candidly with me about how the dog was reacting and problem-solved with me. She figured out how to let the dog out without approaching it, and kept both the dog and cat fed and watered, though walks were not possible. She even came to let the dog out over lunch on weekdays, which was above and beyond our original agreement. The cat loved Mandy - I thought the cat would be the one wary of strangers, and she let Mandy pet her by mid-week. Mandy was very tidy and conscientious and left the house in great condition. She even set out my bait when ants started coming in. Huge appreciation to Mandy.”

I’ve been dog sitting for years and I have been working at Sydney’s pet resort as a supervisor for 4 years now! About: I’m Able to take care of your pets like their my own. I love to watch, feed, walk and play with all of your pets! I’m open for you whenever you need me. I’m able to make time for your pets like I would want you to for my pet. Caring for pets can be difficult but i’m up to the task, Everyday I make sure my pet has water has been walked and fed like I would do for your pet. About: I learned everything I know about pet-care at the vet I worked with many years ago. There my love and passion for animal…especially dogs… grew. It was also there that I learned cats are not my favorite. 🥴 Though I learned a lot from my time working at the vet, I realized that seeing animals suffering or in pain was not something I could do on a daily basis. “This went great. He came over and learned the house as well as my cat beforehand. She liked him immediately. And I noticed that he automatically uses distraction when n an animal does something wrong. (I used to be a certified dog trainer and do consults and the behavior hotline for an SPCA.) He sent pictures during. Best of all, she wasn't frantic when we got home like when we have just a visit each day. Then in the evening she went yowling around the guest room looking for him! Other things, the house was at least as clean when we got home as when we left. And he left us banana bread!”
