“What a wonderful time my Nik had with Linda! I can't recommend her enough and we both look forward to Nik's next visit. Such a caring, kind and lovely lady and the photos sent to me throughout the day was such a treat!”

“Booking with Felicia and Bradley was so great! From meet n greet to pick up they were very communicative and set this momma at ease. Klaus and Ecko got along well and they sent me so many pictures and videos it was like I never left. Klaus was calm on his return home which indicated to me he was happy and not anxious. Thanks again for taking such good care of him!”

“She’s amazing . Run and book ! Very responsive . Loved the pictures and updates ! She truly loves animals and you can tell . I’ll definitely book with Jacalyn again”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and routine. I’m an active person and love being outside, so frequent walks are something I genuinely enjoy, not just a chore! I’m happy to give your dog plenty of exercise, playtime, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. I’m also comfortable caring for elderly pets and administering medications when needed. I have a small Maltipoo of my own who is a very loved member of our family. I personally trained him, so I have hands-on experience with positive training, dog behavior, and helping dogs feel comfortable and understood. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is in caring, capable hands. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine, give them plenty of love and attention, and treat them like one of my own. My goal is for them to have a happy, safe, and fun time while you’re away! I work from home and am self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility. I’m able to provide frequent drop-ins and walks throughout the day when I’m not staying with a pet, rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I genuinely love being active and taking dogs on walks, so getting outside for walks is something I look forward to! I’m happy to provide multiple walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention depending on each dog’s needs and routine. Because my schedule is flexible, I can also accommodate pets who do best with more frequent visits and need a little more attention and love. I care for every pet as if they were my own and always take the time to learn their individual routine, personality, and needs. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care their pets may need. For drop-ins and walks, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and companionship…not just a quick visit. I especially enjoy taking dogs on walks and am happy to provide frequent walks or drop-ins when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and keep things clean and tidy. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away. If a pet stays in my home, they’ll be welcomed as part of the family and will receive plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and affection. We have a fully fenced in yard, so your pups will have a safe and supervised environment for extra outside time and sniffs. I also have a well-trained Maltipoo of my own who loves making new friends!
“Jordyn did an amazing job with my fur baby. She sent videos and pictures for the 2 days he was with her. He was happy when I picked him up. In my nervousness to leave him I forgot to pack his food in his bag and she graciously feed him some of her own fur baby food. Will definitely be using her again but this time make sure I pack his food.”

“John and his wife were amazing sitters for my dogs! At first my pup was nervous to be away from home and was very anxious to be in a new environment but they were able to comfort him and since his stay he’s been a lot more social and less growling at people so Thank you guys !! I highly recommend them!”

“Thanks for take such good care of my furbaby. Krystale was great and gave me daily update on Kobe. She was very informative of Kobes day and when we picked up he was happy. Thanks Kystale”

“Samantha was AMAZING for our dogs. We have a puppy and we’re very nervous about leaving him, and our Boston needs his own emotional support human so it was not ideal to leave him either…. They were both so well taken care of and we appreciate the love she gave our boys while they stayed with her!”

“Gary and his family made Georgie (my kitten) feel like the newest addition to their family and allowed me to enjoy my vacation with assurance that she was loved and cared for by many. I would hire them again and recommend them as sitters!”

“This was our first stay with Anita and she was so wonderful! She was happy to meet Tinkerbell beforehand to ensure she felt as comfortable as possible, took pictures throughout the stay and had great communication. She was also so patient with Tink’s quirks! I could tell Tink was having fun and feeling loved. I so appreciated that Anita also took good care of Tink’s allergies and made adjustments as needed to ensure she felt comfortable around the other dogs.”

“I couldn’t be more pleased with Olivia’s exceptional care for my Labrador, Coco. From the moment they met, it was clear that Olivia has a natural connection with dogs. Coco, who can sometimes be a little shy, warmed up to her instantly, and their bond was evident throughout. Olivia went above and beyond to ensure Coco felt comfortable, happy, and loved while I was away. She kept me updated with regular photos and messages, letting me know how Coco was doing, which gave me complete peace of mind. I could see that Coco was not only well taken care of but also having a blast on their walks and playtime! What really stood out was Olivia’s attention to detail. She followed all instructions perfectly, from feeding schedules to Coco’s special preferences, and even left my home spotless after her stay. It’s clear Olivia genuinely cares about the pets she looks after, and it shows in everything she does. I highly recommend Olivia to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and loving dog sitter. Coco and I are so grateful to have found her, and we’ll definitely be booking her again in the future! Thank you, Olivia, for treating Coco like your own.”

“Alex and Ashely were amazing sitters for my 5 year old pup Carter. It was my first time using Rover and boarding my pup. They were very friendly, had great communication, and Carter took to them immediately! I loved the daily updates accompanied by photos they provide me. It made me feel at ease with him being away. Carter seemed so happy and comfortable. I will DEFINITELY be using their services again!”

“Nicole was awesome. She made herself available at such a short notice and was so great with updating my pets status along the way. Sending pics and reports on him. Definitely recommend, and hope to be able to use her services in the future. Definitely a 10/10”

“I felt like I left Max in very capable hands. After a number of bad boarding experiences I would feel bad about leaving him anywhere. Christopher reassured me he was in good hands and Max seemed excited about his stay.”

“I highly recommend Emily and Josh for anyone in need of excellent pet care. They took great care of my gentle giant, Charlie, with such love and attention that I couldn't have asked for more. Their communication was outstanding, keeping me updated with adorable pictures and videos of Charlie having a blast with the other pups. While I missed Charlie dearly, I felt completely at ease knowing he was in the best of hands. It was evident that Charlie felt loved and well-cared for during his stay. I will definitely be rebooking with Emily and Josh in the future. Thank you for everything!”

“Amazing fur baby sitter- took such good care of my boy and provided pictures daily- she was very attentive to him and provided him with ample activity. She will definitely be my choice of sitter going forward for my pups.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Newton Ridge home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Newton Ridge.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Newton Ridge sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
