I am an animal trainer for film and television and have worked with many types of animals since I was a child. I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology as well as an associate’s degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management. I am from South Carolina originally and have recently moved back to the southeast after a 12 year stint in California. Before my current career, I was a veterinary technician in an emergency clinic. Due to my past experience, I have vast husbandry and veterinary knowledge of many animal species. A full resume is available upon request. I am currently offering in-home dog boarding as well as board-and-train and dog daycare options when I am not otherwise working on a studio project.

Mary Kate was friendly and welcoming! Keep me informed with pictures. This was our first time leaving our dogs with someone, but she made it very easy. One of our dogs didn’t want to leave!
I want to start by saying that I've never boarded my dogs before, as I usually rely on family to look after them. However, this time I had no one available. After reading Mary Kate's reviews, I knew she would be an excellent choice. First and foremost, she is incredibly responsive and communicative. Her property is spacious, fenced, and allows the dogs to enjoy the outdoors freely. My dogs are accustomed to roaming outside, and her place felt just like home. While we were away, Mary Kate provided regular updates and adorable pictures, which really put my mind at ease since this was their first boarding experience. It was clear that my dogs had a fantastic time and were completely comfortable. I can’t thank Mary Kate enough for being such a wonderful dog sitter for my fur babies. I will definitely be choosing her again in the future!
I believe my dog absolutely enjoyed himself on the 8acres of free roaming and the opportunity to be around other animals just like him. When I first arrived Ms. G. Was very excited to meet us and also had great transparency. I received pictures and a warm welcome. I believe my dog will love to go back .😃

Schedule
Animal care and training is my only job and what my life has revolved around since I first took up riding horses at 5 years old. My daily schedule solely revolves around proper husbandry and care of my animals and the animals I train and care for.

Safety, trust & environment
I have an 8 acre property that is fully dog fenced and secure. Social dogs can be mixed into play groups. For safety, dogs will be crated or otherwise secured to a bedroom, etc. at night and/or when I need to run out for errands.
A typical day
I have 8 acres of space for dogs to roam and play. Dogs are fed twice a day and given as many potty breaks as needed. Playtime and exercise time outside is given to every dog individually or socially depending on the preference of dog and owner.
