About: I have a family dog that I play with, feed, bathe, give multiple day and night medicines to (So if you need someone who deals with a lot of medication for pets I'm your person!) and generally take care of. I also have been volunteering at Cub Creek Science Camp which is a science and animal camp. They have a variety of animals there that I have taken care of. I am currently a part-time student, but I do only have classes on Tuesday and Thursday so I have plenty of time in the rest of the week! I do have a fair amount of doctor's appointments, so there are times I might not be available. Weekends are definitely my best days if you want a 100% guarantee that I will be available. I love all animals and doing anything from playing to just sitting and petting them is something I love. I would treat any pet you may have with care and respect, I have the cutest dog at home and she likes to not be touched very often and given space, so I understand if your baby needs space. I do love being around animals so if they need extra physical attention or time I am 100% willing to!
About: It started with checking in on neighbors' cats, dogs, birds, and even fish as a child to then driving out to even bring in the mail and check the plants. I know the anxiety of leaving behind pets and wanting them to feel comfortable in your own home. I want them to be comfortable too! I'm currently moving back to Rolla and ready to fill my time playing or relaxing with some fur babies. My schedule is wide open for regular check-in's or long hang outs. I also request the clients to leave me their contact info, vet’s info, and an emergency contact’s info to make sure I can be prepared for any emergencies that may arise. I encourage clients to ask any questions they have, even if it seems silly. Likewise, if I have any questions, I will ask them instead of guessing. About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, daily eye drops, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments. I am currently not working and doing school online! This allows me to have a very flexible schedule so I am able to accept same day requests! I live with my partner so he is able to care for our pets while I am away. Because I have pets of my own, I don't currently accept jobs that would require me to keep them in my home. As such, I am more than happy to stay with your pets the entire time you are away (unless we discuss any time I may have preplanned events). I would stay the night with them if you are gone overnight so we don't have any accidents or stress!
