I often request to visit at the time I’d normally visit while the client is away, because I want to see the walking/feeding/crating routine in its fullness. I ask a lot of questions and take notes to make sure we’re on the same page. I also request the clients to leave me their contact info, vet’s info, and an emergency contact’s info to make sure I can be prepared for any emergencies that may arise. I encourage clients to ask any questions they have, even if it seems silly. Likewise, if I have any questions, I will ask them instead of guessing. I often send pictures and updates throughout the stay. I stay off my phone as much as possible to be alert and cautious. I take care of your pets the way I’d want someone to take care of mine.

I’ve trained horses since I was 10 years old, started training exotic livestock when I was 16, attended 2 dog training programs in 2021 as well as spending 7 years as a veterinary technician. About: Hello! My name is Melissa, and thanks for checking out my profile. Im new to Rover, but not animals care. I had a steady client, house sitting two dogs, but that is now too far away. That job was in-house care with my dog and all that included all that comes with it, feeding, playing and much more. Please let me know if I can be the one to help you! I've been an optician for 7yrs and am studying to get special certification. I do work part time as an optician locally. The job is only few days a week from 9-4. With enough notice I can make changes in regards to scheduling. Besides that I love going to the river with my dog or am just as happy sitting on the couch. I like a good schedule: something for me to follow, to know exactly what you expect and need. My dog and I walk in the mornings and after work or let out back on a lead, depending on weather. I am always outside with her. I take care of my cat litter everyday or every other. Swiffer everyday! I don't know how the litter travels everywhere!! Drives me nuts!

“Courtney did a great job with my JRT, Oakley. She sent photos of her visits the first few days and Oakley looked like she was having a great time! Courtney noted that Oakley wasn't eating dinner and asked if I had any suggestions. I gave her my recipe for frozen tilapia in the microwave and Oakley ate it up! Courtney gave it to her every night afterwards--Oakley pulled one over her head! I usually make it a treat. I guess we both had great vacations! I also saw on the weather that thunder storms were happening in NWA. I told Courtney where Oakley's thunder shirt was and how to put it on...I was grateful for that.”

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, daily eye drops, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments. I am currently not working and doing school online! This allows me to have a very flexible schedule so I am able to accept same day requests! I live with my partner so he is able to care for our pets while I am away. Because I have pets of my own, I don't currently accept jobs that would require me to keep them in my home. As such, I am more than happy to stay with your pets the entire time you are away (unless we discuss any time I may have preplanned events). I would stay the night with them if you are gone overnight so we don't have any accidents or stress! I would do my best to uphold any schedule you already have in place (ie feeding, walks, medicine, bedtime).

I am familiar with all kids if medications so if something needs to be administered I am capable of doing so. I would love your pets/treat your pets as if they were mine. I know how to do CPR on animals if needed. I'm currently a stay at home mom so I am capable of letting them out when needed and caring and looking after them ensuring that they are happy. We can go in long walks and play ball if they are into that. I also enjoy hiking so if they are good with that we can enjoy some out door time. I feed them to their instructions given, I can administrator medications if needed. I can do baths, nail trims and ear cleanings. If they have anal gland issues too I can express those with no problem. If they are on prescription diets I'm familiar with all kinds. Your baby will be in good hands

About: I love animals of all sizes, I am a certified dog groomer and have had past experience working in a vet care facility taking care of animals for 5 years. I am familiar with all ages from puppy's to elders and special needs cats and dogs are welcomed. I am also able to give your pet medications if they have any. No dog would go unloved and would be given all the attention he/she could want. Animal care is my top priority and your loved ones will always be safe with me. I have experience with every breed and any temperament. I'm trying to make pet care my full time job, so I have an open schedule 7 days a week to accommodate your pets needs. Care would take place in the client's home, lots of play time and following owners instructions for what they would like if they have any.

About: i have been taking care of pets since i was ten a lot of family and friends have relied on me for there pet needs many years I’m currently employed full time. I work usually 5 days a week. I do work opening shift so I am usually off by 10am or 11am week days and any weekends are 1pm unless I am scheduled off. Please don’t hesitate to message me and ask about my schedule. I try to update it here well but sometimes things change. i have one dog named kody and my roommate has two cats and a dog but they are very friendly and welcoming to new furry friends!
