“Taylor provided exceptional pet care from start to finish. She treated my pets with warmth and patience, and it meant so much that she was able to get my senior dog to play , something she rarely does with new people. Taylor followed all instructions flawlessly, communicated consistently, arrived on time, and kept me updated with plenty of photos and notes about their routines. I’m very grateful she accepted the request and would confidently book her again.”

“Cheyenne was absolutely amazing! She took great care of my boy and was great at communicating with me! When we had to cut our trip short she even gave us a refund for the visits we didn't need her to do. Definitely recommend her for all your pet sitting needs!!! Thanks so much Cheyenne!!!!!!”

“Ashley was great! She gave the friendly cat lots of attention, and she made an incredible effort to keep track of the one that wouldn’t come out. Her updates and pictures made me feel comfortable being away from my cats. I really appreciated the care she gave to them.”

About: I have experience raising five dogs from puppyhood from 8 weeks old. I work well engaging dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. I am currently a mom of four large bunting breeds. I am great with handling dogs with anxiety as well as those that have social and/or separation issues. I am able to run your dogs is preferred over a long walk. I have a flexible schedule and can adjust to your needs accordingly. If a client has any special requests, I am generally always able to accommodate. I have a fenced yard with sufficient land for play (about a 1/4 acre). The inside of the house has plenty of room as well the the basement is a designated pet play area.

About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds— including dogs, cats, and even exotic animals— I bring both knowledge and genuine compassion to every job. I understand that pets are family, not just animals, and I treat them with the same attentiveness, patience, and respect I’d want for my own. Whether it’s daily care, special routines, or unique needs, I’m committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m chronically self-employed because I love the flexibility it offers. I’m used to taking on a variety of jobs and adjusting to my client’s needs week to week. I will never take a job I can’t fully commit to, so you can rest assured I will give your pets my full attention when they’re on my schedule. Every pet has their quirks so it’s important to have fully transparent communication with my clients. I will always encourage a meeting with the clients and pets prior to the job starting, as I believe it’s best to get familiar with the pets and their home. I often request to visit at the time I’d normally visit while the client is away, because I want to see the walking/feeding/crating routine in its fullness. I ask a lot of questions and take notes to make sure we’re on the same page. I also request the clients to leave me their contact info, vet’s info, and an emergency contact’s info to make sure I can be prepared for any emergencies that may arise. I encourage clients to ask any questions they have, even if it seems silly. Likewise, if I have any questions, I will ask them instead of guessing. I often send pictures and updates throughout the stay. I stay off my phone as much as possible to be alert and cautious. I take care of your pets the way I’d want someone to take care of mine.
“Melody is so awesome! She came over right on schedule every day and sent pictures and videos of my kitties so I knew they were taken care of. She stayed and played with them for a while too which I loved because they are very social cats. She went above and beyond what I could have expected for my first time using the Rover app. We will definitely be booking her again!”

We also have chickens and 2 cats that are all spoiled

About: I have had pets my entire life, primarily cats as well as a few dogs. I currently have a dog and cat, so taking care of either is second nature. I have also had two cats at one time and understand the nature of multi-cat households. I have pet sat many times for friends and family. These include homes with multiple dogs, multiple cats, a mix, and even a snake. Reptiles and rodents don't bother me! These experiences have also included long-term stay (1 week+) and animals with additional care needs (senior, daily eye drops, diabetic with necessary insulin injections at meals). I am currently in vet tech school so I know what to look for to keep your pets safe! I also have experience volunteering in shelters with many animals of different temperaments. I am currently not working and doing school online! This allows me to have a very flexible schedule so I am able to accept same day requests! I live with my partner so he is able to care for our pets while I am away. Because I have pets of my own, I don't currently accept jobs that would require me to keep them in my home. As such, I am more than happy to stay with your pets the entire time you are away (unless we discuss any time I may have preplanned events). I would stay the night with them if you are gone overnight so we don't have any accidents or stress! I would do my best to uphold any schedule you already have in place (ie feeding, walks, medicine, bedtime).
About: Hello! My name is Melissa, and thanks for checking out my profile. Im new to Rover, but not animals care. I had a steady client, house sitting two dogs, but that is now too far away. That job was in-house care with my dog and all that included all that comes with it, feeding, playing and much more. Please let me know if I can be the one to help you! I've been an optician for 7yrs and am studying to get special certification. I do work part time as an optician locally. The job is only few days a week from 9-4. With enough notice I can make changes in regards to scheduling. Besides that I love going to the river with my dog or am just as happy sitting on the couch. I like a good schedule: something for me to follow, to know exactly what you expect and need. My dog and I walk in the mornings and after work or let out back on a lead, depending on weather. I am always outside with her. I take care of my cat litter everyday or every other. Swiffer everyday! I don't know how the litter travels everywhere!! Drives me nuts!

“Elizabeth has been SO incredible with my dog and is so easy to work with. I travel frequently for business and knowing that she is taking care of my baby while I am gone is so comforting. She sends me updates while I am gone and works with my schedule in order to make sure that my pup is well cared for. I would highly suggest her! ”

“Katie did great with my kitties. They’re usually scared of strangers and slow to warm up to people but they seemed to take a quick liking to her! She was timely with their visits every day and always let me know how they were doing. I genuinely looked forward to the pictures she sent me of them every day, it helped me miss them a little less. :)”

About: I love animals of all sizes, I am a certified dog groomer and have had past experience working in a vet care facility taking care of animals for 5 years. I am familiar with all ages from puppy's to elders and special needs cats and dogs are welcomed. I am also able to give your pet medications if they have any. No dog would go unloved and would be given all the attention he/she could want. Animal care is my top priority and your loved ones will always be safe with me. I have experience with every breed and any temperament. I'm trying to make pet care my full time job, so I have an open schedule 7 days a week to accommodate your pets needs. Care would take place in the client's home, lots of play time and following owners instructions for what they would like if they have any.
About: I was born and raised in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. I grew up in a home with 5 dogs, 2 cats and 2 turtles which were all adopted from the Humane Society (except for the turtles). I learned how to care for a dog as small as a chihuahua to a dog that probably could pass for a small horse. I love going on long walks and trips to the park. One of my favorite things to do is to simply show an animal love as if we have known each other for years. I will get my hands dirty and jump in the mud with all my furry friends. I just moved to Vancouver, Washington and I am currently on the hunt to find a nice big home so I can adopt as many dogs from the shelter as I can. I am a stay at home wife until I get another overseas job. I am mostly pretty available, if not available I will definitely let you know. I am very good with following instructions. Anything you need for your pets well-being will be a priority when it’s in my care. That is guaranteed.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life. I grew up with St. Bernards and very clingy cats. Now that I have my own place I have 3 orange cats and one little senior dog who I love with all my heart! I hope I'm able to show your pets the same love and care I show my own. I currently work 3 days a week at my full time job so that gives me plenty of time to take care of your pets! I'm open to taking care of your pets at odd hours. I can do any management your pet may need including medicine handling, teeth cleaning, bathing, etc. I do this things regularly to accommodate my own senior pets. I also have a sweet little dog that would love to play with yours! She is very patient with shy pets and is very respectful.
“Kiera took amazing care of our two cats while we were away over Christmas! She was so responsive and kind, and really went above and beyond to make sure our kitties had everything they needed.”
