About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life—dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, birds—you name it. I’ve picked up a lot over the years just by being around all kinds of animals with different personalities, temperaments, and needs. I’m confident and calm whether I’m hanging out with a couch potato pup or a high-energy goofball who needs a good run to settle down. I typically work evenings, but my schedule is pretty flexible during the week. That said, I’m currently not taking requests for Saturdays or Sundays, though I can occasionally make an exception. Just ask! If your pet has specific needs—crate routines, feeding schedules, meds, whatever—I’ll follow your instructions exactly. I’m big on communication and will always send plenty of pics and updates so you feel connected while you’re away. I typically work evenings, so I am available mornings and afternoons before 3pm. I'm currently not taking requests for Saturdays or Sundays, though I can occasionally make an exception- just ask! When I’m caring for pets in their home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I stick closely to their usual routine—whether that means feeding at a certain time, refreshing water, administering medications, or just knowing where they like to nap. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks (or litter scooping for cats). I’ll clean up any messes, check food and water, and keep an eye out for anything unusual in behavior or health. I also send photo updates during every visit so you know your pet is doing well. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to match your dog’s energy level and preferences—whether they need a slow stroll around the block or a brisk walk to burn off some energy. I use secure gear, always keep safety in mind, and make sure your dog gets both physical and mental enrichment during our time together. I treat every pet like they’re my own—with patience, respect, and love.

About: I have been working part time with Rover for several years. I recently had to put my 13-year-old lab down, so I do not currently have any pets. Animals are the brightest part of our world and nothing makes me happier than spending time with doggies and kitties. I currently volunteer for PALS, a program under Meals on Wheels, that provides food for animals in senior homes. I loved to walk my dog and would be more than happy to provide dog walking services to others on the weekends. I work weekdays, but am available after 5 pm and will work Saturdays, and Sundays. I cannot wait to get started and meet all the sweet babies! I currently work weekdays, but can devote time after work and weekends. I can utilize lunch breaks to check on pets and nights and weekends for more one on one time. I own a home with a fenced in yard for my dog. I will do anything and everything to ensure your animal’s safety and happiness.

About: I have two high energy rescue dogs and 3 rescue cats. Through the years I've learned how to work with animals to give them a safe space to be themselves with structure and routine. Great pet care begins with understanding the pet and helping to give them what they need to thrive. I'm available 24/7 to help provide whatever care your fur baby may need. Early morning walk before the sunrise? No problem! Mid-day potty break - piece of cake! My own home is pet friendly with a fenced in yard. Rooms that can provide isolation or shared spaces depending on the pets' personal preferences. If in the owner's home, I will be respectful of all rules and properties while ensuring your fur baby gets all the love and attention they need.

About: Animals have been my first love since I was six. As an only child, pets were like siblings, and I’ve been the family go to pet sitter for years. I’m based in Austin and work full-time during the week available for morning evenings and lunch drop ins. I’m also available for weekend house sittings or overnight stays. I’m reliable, respectful, and treat every pet like my own. I lost my dog not long ago, so caring for animals now means even more to me. Whether it’s senior pets, playful pups, or just keeping your home secure, I’m here to help. I work full time during the week, but I’m available for weekend house sitting, overnight stays, and evening check ins. I’ll always communicate clearly and update my calendar to reflect availability. I make sure your pet is well fed, hydrated, and comfortable in their environment. I pay close attention to their needs and routines, and I’m happy to follow any special instructions, including giving medication, crate time, or just extra love. Whether they need playtime, quiet company, or structured care, I’m here to provide it all with patience and respect.

About: As honest i can be, I do not have expert experience but! As i helped my friends and family with their fur babies i have learned a lot! especially patience and boundaries. Would never back down on checking in on their pets when needed. Spend some outside time with them if my friends were busy at work and other stuff! etc. I recently left my job for personal reasons so i am spending some free time to try something new, especially if it involves cute pets! I am more than happy to help anyone out if needed. I have a pet bunny named Storm, been having her in my life for 4 years now and its taught me so much. She is very high maintenance so i know how that is with any other fur baby out there. I have a schedule for her during the day time which works well as she also spends most of her time free roaming or sleeping! I too can follow schedules you guys have, talk about concerns, boundaries etc!

About: My wife and I each grew up surrounded by multiple dogs, fostering a deep love and understanding of them from an early age. I personally trained and raised my first dog, honing the skills that now guide us as we walk, raise, and praise our two current dogs daily. Among them is our standard poodle, a proud champion show dog, reflecting the care and dedication we bring to our furry family members. We have three small children, a male 2 year old, and twin 1 year olds boy and girl. They love dogs. We have a 14 year old toy poodle that we make sure gets outside at lease twice a day for 15-20 minutes and a 4 year old standard poodle who needs to go on a 20-30min walk 1-2 times a day. Both eat twice a day and drink as needed. Ensure they eat when needed, always have access to water and outside, and will be taken on walks frequently if requested. They need the love and attention we would give our own dogs too.

“Chantelle was amazing. On time every visit and great at communicating updates so we were at ease while we were traveling knowing she was taking great care of our Poppy. We will use Chantelle in the future for our pet care while away.”

About: I love animals. I have a toddler who’s 2, she’s an animal lover as well. I think it’s safe to say we prefer dogs who are about her size preferably smaller. We have tried a big dog, and I am sorry but with the height and the amount of pulling, I can’t have a big dog and my child on a walk. I’d love to change that once I get a house. My child also can’t be around any intense behavior issues, she’s a loving person and likes to pet the dogs anywhere and everywhere she’s at around the dog. I do tend to teach her to be careful and be mindful, but there are times I don’t have my eye on both the dog and my child. Thank you for understanding! I work at home so I’m able to provide the 2 hour potty break if needed, however, I usually take a late break or late lunch, and will have to wait until then. My kid loves the animals just as much as I do, so we do sleep with any dog that stays with us. My complex has a lot of dog areas, and inside there’s a mini field and a playground to where I like to let them loose and play with said dog.

“Sharlene was amazing and very communicative. For my first time using Rover, I felt very comfortable leaving my dog and a friends dog in her hands. Will absolutely book again!”

Emilee W.Star Sitter
“For years Emilee has been the person I called to take care of my dogs if I was going to be away. She has cared for my dogs more times than I can count, and she loves them as if they were her own. She always sends pictures and keeps me updated on how they are doing. My dog Kori had cancer and required medication every day. Emilee is one of the few people I would trust with such a task. Now I have a black lab puppy, and Emilee has walked her on numerous occasions. And let me tell you, walking Feeny is no easy task. I completely trust that my dogs will be safe, well cared for, and most of all loved when left in Emilee’s care.”
