About: I’m 59 years old and I’ve cared for many dog breeds since I was 10, poodle, lab, mixed breeds, golden doodle, pitbull mix. I take pride in how I take care of my dog from what I feed him, clean up after him, and keep him happy and comfortable. I believe I can offer the same attention to detail for a guest dogs needs. I am a full time programmer at the Riverhead County Clerk’s Office working 7-3 Mon-Fri, I would like to try boarding on the weekends and possibly during the week as I get more comfortable with this process I have a fenced in yard 4 foot fence, and own a 5 year old mixed breed terrier that loves to play. I’d be looking to care for friendly small to medium sized dogs that have are up to date on shots from the vet. I have a spare large crate if needed but it would be best if you have your own since your pet is used to that one. I’d like to see vet records of shots and meet before hand to make sure our pets get along

Before caring for a new dog, I like to learn as much as I can about their personality, routine, health needs, temperament, and any behaviors or situations I should be aware of. I’m also happy to do a meet-and-greet beforehand so both you and your dog can feel comfortable. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication, more frequent potty breaks, or extra attention. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep your dog’s environment safe and secure, and never force an interaction or activity they aren’t comfortable with. When your dog is staying with me, I want them to feel like they’re at home, not at a kennel. I also know how reassuring it is to see that your dog is happy while you’re away. I’ll stay in touch with regular updates and photos, and I’ll always reach out if I have a question or notice anything unusual. My goal is simple: you should feel completely comfortable knowing your dog is safe, cared for, and getting plenty of attention.

About: I was raised with dogs all my life and frequently take care of my friends dogs while they are away. I understand the body language of dogs and what they are trying to express without really expressing it . I love dogs and would be happy to take care of yours with love while you are away and send you videos and pictures and even face time if you need too ! I am also close to the beach and can take them for a beach walk . I love throwing a ball or snuggling whatever your pet needs .
