About: We are Larry and Jen. We love all things furry. • We've lived in our home (on a dead-end county road) for 30 years. • There have always been dogs (big and small) and cats inside our home. • Some may say we love our pets more than our kids. :P • I (Jen) own my an online business and work part-time at home. • Larry works in New Paris, IN, four days per week. He comes home every day for lunch. • In our home, we currently have two dogs: a 9-mo-old cattle doodle (who loves everything and everyone) and a 14-yr-old toy schnauzer heading toward the rainbow bridge. Our pets are always spayed/neutered/vaccinated/etc. • We have a big backyard with a small portion fenced in to keep our pets safe. We also have a fenced-in pool (all dogs welcome). • Our kids are all married, and the grandchildren live 900 miles away. So, most of the time, it's just us here. • Our home is set up for pet care with room for cages and play yards. Our upstairs and downstairs are both gated off (we don't use either). • We have a mid-size doggie door that leads from the house to the fenced yard.

About: I am currently unavailable until April 8th, 2020 due to a study service trip with Goshen College. Feel free to contact me, but know you will not receive a response until April 8th. Thank you for understanding. I have no professional experience with dog care, however I have cared for numerous pets over the last 15 years of my life (I'm 21 now) and have loved every bit of it. I am looking to get some extra cash by doing something I love while in college. I love taking dogs to the park to play for hours and then snuggling up with them later because they are so tired. It's my favorite thing to do is tire a dog out so much that all it does is want to sleep later (kind of like a kid, haha). Really just looking for an excuse to spend time with animals. Professionally speaking, I am a student in college studying Sociology and Psychology. I am a part time lifeguard/supervisor, a swim coach, and part time data and research assistant at a local nonprofit organization. I anticipate a Spring 2020 graduation

About: I have 3 small dogs for my own. I have had them since they were puppies and they are crate trained and very well behaved. I enjoy having the company of the dogs walking and playing. I am a stay at home mom , I have a pretty open schedule and have plenty of time for dog caring and walking also very open to boarding as well. I have a small fenced in porch area where you dogs can play along with my 3 other small dogs. And can also easily crate your dog when needed. I have a nice neighborhood to take your dogs on a stroll.

“I really appreciate Devin’s availability and willingness to respond to me when I blew up her phone ;) I literally could not find a pet sitter in this area that would respond to me. I have a lot of anxiety about leaving my dogs, and so it was nice to have someone who responded so quickly. (On a semi-unrelated note to pet sitting, she also took really cute pictures of my dogs which was helpful to my daughter while we were gone).”

She is responsible and will make sure to follow all of your instructions to a “T”. When you use Jennifer, you can be confident that your pet is in good hands!”

Joel B.
“I do not trust my fur babies with anyone but Joel. Joel met my doggo with me, before taking the "job". He is kind and caring of my dog's boundaries. She is a Chihuahua and has big Chihuahua personality, walking her with other dogs can be difficult, but Joel gently took care of the walk situation. I have very detailed instructions when I leave. Joel follows the instructions exactly as noted, potty times, food times, play times, bedtimes and just cuddle times if doggo so inclined. I check in regularly as all fur baby parents would. He always answers and gives me updates as to how things are going. He is even willing to face time me so I can see my fur baby. When I get home, my baby is happy, no stress, happy to see me, and obviously well cared for. I recommend Joel as a 5-star fur babysitter.”

Minerve D.
“As a first-time dog owner, I was initially nervous about leaving my pup, Milo, in someone else’s care. A mutual friend recommended Minerve, and I’m so grateful they did. From our first meeting, Minerve was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional. She took the time to learn Milo’s routine, asked thoughtful questions, and built trust with both of us right away. She’s been walking Milo regularly and has even helped reinforce some of his basic training. Milo adores her - he waits at the door for her arrival and returns from walks calm and content. Minerve’s calm energy, reliable communication, and intuitive understanding of animal behavior have made all the difference. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible and compassionate pet caregiver.”

Jennifer & Larry W.
“We have a lab/mastiff mix and 7 cats. When Jennifer and Larry come to watch them they all swarm. They don’t even miss us. Jennifer and Larry keep up with the routines we have in place for the animals easily (we have a couple that need extra attention). We also have one runner who has gotten out with every other person who has watched her EXCEPT for Jennifer and Larry. I wholeheartedly and without reservations would recommend Jennifer and Larry, and my pets would too.”

Karen S.
Star Sitter

“When Karen is taking care of my pups, there are no worries. As an experienced dog mom she has a natural affinity - she's patient and just dotes over them. She really delights in each of their unique personalities. She's great at balancing their needs as far as playing, exercise and all the rest, to make sure they feel happy and secure while I'm gone, and that's a good feeling.”

Emma W.
“Emma is an excellent pet care giver. She loves all animals and has years of experience caring for them. She care for animals as if they were her own pets.”

Roy J.

“Roy is a true angel. It was a last minute booking and with power outages it was a crazy chaotic week. He went above and beyond with the girls!”

Emma E.
“Emma is responsible, always going above and beyond what we ask. Also flexible to last minute changes to our schedule. She has done everything from a quick drop by to let Ellie out to spending a weekend. I would recommend her highly. Naomi PS - Ellie says "I LOVE it when Emma dog sits for me. I get so excited I can hardly contain myself when I see her coming, or even when my humans say her name!"”
