About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give to every pet as if they were my own. I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I take the time to really get to know them and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have experience working with goats, cats, dogs and lizards, chickens and even horses, along with senior pets. I’m patient and consistent when it comes to basic training, potty routines, exercising and helping reinforce good habits. I know how important that is, so I focus on structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of encouragement. For senior pets, I have lots of experience in administering medication, and sticking closely to their routine, or providing extra attention and care. Reliability and communication are very important to me. I make sure you stay updated with messages, photos, and check-ins so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make your pet feel happy, secure, and cared for every step of the way. I’m currently working part-time and remote, so I have plenty of flexibility to help others take care of their fur baby. You can count on me! I provide a safe, loving environment. I currently have a 4-year-old Bernedoodle who is everything to me. I grew up surrounded by animals and have always had a strong love for them. Over the years, I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors by dropping in to care for their pets, feeding them, spending quality time with them, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I make it a priority to follow each pet’s routine closely, give them plenty of attention, and create a calm, safe environment where they feel at home. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family

About: I have been around cats since I was younger. I have 1 cat at our house and she is a feisty girl, her name is Cookie. I am much more a dog person but cats need love too! I do love on a rainy day when Cookie cuddles up to me while I read or nap! I am comfortable with a variety of needs a cat may require. I have house sat for various cats and have enjoyed interacting with them!

“Blair was perfect for our needs. Our dog is very skittish with unknown people and never does well in a kennel. She came and met with him while we were home to get aquatinted with him. She took care of him for the two days we needed and he was perfectly fine and relaxed when we came home. Will definitely use her again. Thank You Blair!”

“Raquel did a great job. I really appreciate her putting our Chewey order away too. (Always seems to come when I am gone.) She checked w/ me when she had questions and gained the trust of our timid kitty.”

About: I’ve always had dogs, ever since I was born, so I have a LOT of experience! I have been trusted with my friends’ pets as well, going over to their houses to take care of the dogs and play with them! I am working part-time right now, so I have pretty good flexibility when it comes to needing someone to come and take care of your pets. I can do some weekends and weekdays. I am not available Wednesday evenings after 4. I will feed them (a certain amount of times a day if that is what you normally do) and make sure they have plenty of water. If they normally go in a crate during the day/at night, I can do that for you as well.

“My cat had a rough time adjusting at first and she was so patient with him as he was settling in! After he adjusted he loved being there, and I love the pictures I got from Anna from his stay! If I ever need someone to watch him again I will definitely be going to Anna!”

About: As a current cat parent myself, I appreciate when I know my cat is in good hands. This not only relieves my stress, but his as well. I can return to preparing for my trip, meeting, or holiday prep worry-free. I have firsthand experience placing my pet's care into another's hands. It took so much much trial, error, and good luck before I settled on a small roster of people who look out for my baby just as well as I can. People who would do whatever was necessary for making sure my pet's health and happiness was respected and nurtured. I've also nurtured many types of animals as they were sick, healthy, hurt, anxious, etc. I've also housesat, catsat, and dogsat for a number of people in Indianapolis, just in this year alone. Medications, anxiety, shyness, distrust, to name a few, are not foreign concepts in my cat care. I've experienced them in caring for my own little ginger boy, cats from my past, and cats I've recently catsat for. None of those things deter me from making sure your cat receives optimal care, respect, and attention. ?? Being a total free-spirit, I currently possess a large amount of flexibility and an open calendar. Especially around those family holidays. I can offer what few others can in this moment, time, intentionality and availability in pet care.

About: Caring for cats has been a passion of mine since I was as little as eight. From kittens to elders, long-hairs to short, I've taken care of them all! There is no part of cat care that I dislike and I would love to spend time with your fur babies.

About: I am currently unavailable until April 8th, 2020 due to a study service trip with Goshen College. Feel free to contact me, but know you will not receive a response until April 8th. Thank you for understanding. I have no professional experience with dog care, however I have cared for numerous pets over the last 15 years of my life (I'm 21 now) and have loved every bit of it. I am looking to get some extra cash by doing something I love while in college. I love taking dogs to the park to play for hours and then snuggling up with them later because they are so tired. It's my favorite thing to do is tire a dog out so much that all it does is want to sleep later (kind of like a kid, haha). Really just looking for an excuse to spend time with animals. Professionally speaking, I am a student in college studying Sociology and Psychology. I am a part time lifeguard/supervisor, a swim coach, and part time data and research assistant at a local nonprofit organization. I anticipate a Spring 2020 graduation
About: I worked with dogs for the past 5 years at a kennel and I have 5 dogs of my own! I’ve watched my grandparents pets on occasion as well! “My husband was traveling several trips to the Bristol area for business. There are not any options for dog daycare with a national chain so I found Josie & Michael on here. The BEST dogsitters we have ever had for Jr. They treated him just like he was their pet plus every morning, he would almost shake his tail off when he would see Josie at the door. So if you live in the Bristol area or traveling there, please check out Josie & Michael for your fur baby sitter.”
“Anna was great to work with. We're new to Rover and she answered any questions and was very accommodating to our needs for the day care. We're from out of town and using Rover and Anna made our stay easy for times during the day when our dog could not be with us. We would definitely use Anna when back in the area.”

“Justin was AMAZING in taking care of our 2 fur babies while we were in town for vacation. My black lab, who is very shy, warmed up to him right away which I knew was a very good indicator that they were in good hands. I will be using him from now on whenever I am in town.”

“Betty is a nice, reliable, experienced caretaker that gives the best care to the dog. My dog Dobby had a very enjoyable afternoon with Betty and her dogs in the big backyard. She also takes lots of pics for update, I would definitely recommend Betty to everyone.”

“Jennifer and Larry were awesome. Nestli was excited to enter their house the moment he got there, and immediately began exploring the fenced yard with joy. He was happy to be there, and when we picked him up, he made sure to give Jennifer several kisses and wiggle butts goodbye. Obviously, Jennifer and Larry took great care of Nestli, and also accommodated our extra time needs for our event, for which we are very grateful!”

“Chris was terrific with Willow and very accommodating to our schedule. Love that he sent pics and updates throughout day. Willow must have had a great day because she was worn out when she got home😄 Thank you Chris!”

“I’ve been bringing my dog, Mykonos, to Lynn for daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. Every morning, he gets so excited to go back, which says everything about how comfortable and happy he feels with her. He comes home calm and content, showing no signs of stress or anxiety. It gives me real peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. Lynn clearly cares deeply for the dogs she looks after, and I’m grateful for the warm, safe environment she provides.”

“Lindsay was extremely accommodating to my schedule! She welcomed Millie in and gave her a second home while I was at work. I felt at peace knowing Lindsay was taking great care of Millie and giving her all the love and attention she deserved.”

“Jamie was wonderful! Her communication was excellent, she sent plenty of photos and updates throughout the day. My dogs came home so happy and tired, I know they had such a fun time.”

“LiLi had a great time at Kimberlee’s. When I came to pick her up, she was still trying to run around and play with their dog, Odie, who has become one of LiLi’s best pals.”

About: New to Rover.com but 10+ years of fostering over 400 babies for local shelters. They were all spoiled by the time they were ready for adoption. (No apologies for that 🙃) Your pet will be well cared for/spoiled while they visit! I can take two dogs, for the safety of your pet(s) and mine, only if they are from the same household. Love animals and miss fostering I did while in California. Your family member will be in caring hands who has years of experience with puppies and kittens who needed medication. I’m retired and have all the time in the world. 🤭 I still foster and mark my calendar as unavailable when I have foster babies. You can always ask if there is room for one more. 😉 New home with half acre fenced yard. Have a very active border collie who wants a playmate. My animals have always had the run of the house but I can provide a crate if need be. If you need an extended period of time, let me know. My last foster was 6 months old, from a local shelter and was here for over 2 months.

About: I grew up helping out on my friends parents farm. After we moved away my family signed up to foster for the humane society and my love for animals only grew. I’ve helped deliver and care for puppies and kittens. I now have 2 daughters of my own that love animals just as much as I do and our favorite thing to do is go to the humane society to play with the pups and cats 💕 I run my own business and work from home. Both my girls are in school so I have a lot of free time I’d love to use on with helping some furbabies 💕 I live in an apartment right of the millrace so we love walls on the trail! We also love going to the dog park here in goshen because it’s always empty. I will make sure your furbaby is very well cared for in the time they are with me 💕
“Flexible and an understanding caregiver for our active poodle. We were visiting out of state and Sonny was able to accommodate us last minute. Sonny sent us photos, videos, and updates through-out the day, which helped my family be more at ease. We will be using Sonny’s services when we visit next time.”

This is focused around times when our son is off school in order to give constant care. The adults also have flexible work schedules ensuring plenty of support for the rhythms of pet care. We keep a tidy home where your pet can relax and play. We make every effort to maintain the rhythms (exercise, feeding, etc) that your pet is accustomed to.
About: Growing up with an Australian Shepherd Blue Heeler mix (Buddy), I loved teaching him new tricks, going for walks, and playing enriching games that helped get his energy out. My parents added a Chiweenie (Joey) to the family a couple years ago, so now when I visit I love to walk them both, give Buddy back massages, and snuggle little lap dog Joey. I often dog/house sit for my parents; being in their home environment seems to be most comfortable for the pups. Aside from dogs, I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2021, have switched careers from management and sales to healthcare, and now work for a local school system. I am looking for something fun, active, and outdoors for the summer - what better activity than dog walking/sitting?! I cannot wait to connect and meet your furry family. I am currently working full time, but will soon have the summer off to help care for your pups! My current schedule varies, but I am available some evenings and weekends. Send me a message and I will get back to you ASAP! I will ensure to adhere to any dog schedules/routines, send regular photo/text updates upon client request, and to care for your dogs like my own. I will do everything in my power to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I will do my best to mimic how you care for your pet to ease any distress and make your absence as enjoyable as possible for them.

About: I can't help but attempt to nurture every animal I come across, from a baby squirrel to adopting my former streetcat (Iroh). In addition to housesitting, catsittting, and dogsitting for a number of people in Indianapolis, just in this past year alone, I've also taken upon the responsibility of self-fostering 3 kittens. Recently, I finished 5 months of bathing/grooming training experience through Petco. This past experience has taught me the importance of pet safety and taught me much about dog care and health, from regular bathing to nutrition. I've taken care of several different species of pets in the past 15 years, including several in/outdoor cats, a rabbit, two hamsters, a chameleon, and a former family Labrador Retriever. Since I was young, I've had a large amount of compassion and consideration for all living critters and creatures. I now spend much my time commiting to reading and research about dogs, cats, and other animals. My experience, multiple-species expertise, and unconditional care creates a space where your pet is not only looked after, but loved on. Being a total free-spirit, I currently possess a large amount of flexibility and an open calendar. Especially around those family holidays. I can offer what few others can in this moment, time, intentionality and availability in pet care. 🗓️✨ As a current cat parent myself, I appreciate when I know my cat is in good hands. My fur child deserves to be just as safe and comfortable in his living arrangements as I am in mine, no matter where I am. Finding that type of care is no small feat either. Assuaging my worries (and his) on top of everything else that traveling demands, can really be the cherry on the top of my stress-out sundae. If you resonate with some of these concerns, then I may be the pet sitter for you. I will read the list of your special care instructions AND follow through on their necessities to soothe your nerves and those of your pet. Given the opportunity, I'd love to be a companion they can count on for meals, play/fun times, walks, and any other special activities you share with your little one. Meanwhile, allowing you to relax and lean into your confidence that your pet is in great hands. So, let me do what is necessary to remedy, not only your anxiety, but your pet's as well. I'd love to be the person for you and your companion. 🤓📝

I’m doing schooling online and I’m extremely flexible on a day to day basis and on weekends as well. I wake up early and go to sleep early typically so I can adjust to whatever feeding schedule any animal may be on. I have a very large property with woods and lots of room to run around. I live on a road I take daily walks on. I have a large house and a barn outside as well. I’m flexible depending on what your fur baby is most comfortable with. I can offer a lot of exercise, cuddles, they can sleep in a crate if that makes them comfortable or they can sleep out of the crate.
About: Within the past couple years I started my own small business in pet transportation. I received licensing from the USDA and am knowledgeable in best practices in caring for pets while their families are away. I truly believe that our pets are our family and will aim to make your pets feel loved and well-cared for while you’re away. Beyond my own pets, transporting gave me experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I do have references to attest for the high standard of care I will provide. I am no longer transporting pets due to being away from my family (pets and humans) for extended periods of time. Recently I have become a stay at home mom, but really miss all the extra animals I got to love on. My availability is pretty flexible throughout the week now and I’m excited to meet your furry family members! I am available to care for your pet in your home or through walking. I will accept puppies/young dogs for boarding and doggy daycare in my home as I have my own large dogs, who are friendly, but intimidated by other large dogs. This can include feeding, administering medicine, walking, play time, crating, etc. I will always aim to stick to you and your pet’s schedule. I have a couple of years of experience in a vet office, initially attending college for veterinary medicine.
About: I grew up with cats & dogs. We always had at least two in our house as kids and I've owned lots and lots of pets with human names. Since I’m a teacher I am available all summer long. I am an early riser and can accommodate all times you may need for your pets My pets get walked four times a day and seem to be my mode of exercise. I can accommodate early and late hours in particular.

“Callie's stay with Pamela was fantastic! Pamela's house is in a great location - close enough for us to drop Callie off before a flight out of South Bend airport but far enough to be on a quiet wooded street that's very dog friendly.
