About: Triple decade caring for dogs, cats, and homestead animals. Available locally for pop-ins to cuddle/feed, long dog walks or some major play time. On those long run-around days or your next out of town vacation...you're pets will be well taken care of! I need a weeks notice to schedule in dedicated play time with your pet. While I'm at your place, taking the dog for a walk or feeding...they are my #1 priority and I want to give them all my love and attention! I have experience with indoor, outdoor and homestead animals. Safety in their environment is important and making sure they know I'm their safe person when you are away.

When caring for pets in their home, I focus on keeping their routine, environment, and comfort exactly the way they’re used to. I follow the owner’s instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play preferences, medication needs, and any household rules—so pets feel secure and stress‑free. I take time to learn each pet’s personality, whether they need extra play, quiet companionship, or a slow, gentle approach. I keep the home tidy and respectful, making sure food and water areas stay clean, litter boxes or potty routines are maintained, and any messes are handled right away. I also pay attention to small details like closing gates, locking doors, turning lights on or off as requested, and keeping the home feeling lived‑in and safe. Throughout the stay, I send updates and photos so owners always know how their pets are doing.

Slow traveling is my favorite. I can explore new neighborhoods, cities, and local attractions without being rushed. I will follow your directions for your house and loved ones. I’ve worked in horse barns, animal shelters, and dog boarding facilities, and I’m skilled in administering all types of medications, including insulin. Whether it’s feral cats or reactive dogs, I have the patience and expertise to help them adjust and thrive, including building trust with new people. I understand how intimidating change can be for animals, and I’m dedicated to making those transitions as smooth as possible. I’ve dedicated countless unpaid hours to caring for animals, driven solely by my love and commitment to their well-being. I will love your babies like my own. I do work mon-thurs 3-9pm and Saturday 11-4. I am a perfectionist. I'd be more than happy to jump through hoops to give your baby(s) what they need when and how they need it. I will put your animal above everything else, that's what I'm paid for and that's what I love doing.

About: I've been taking care of dogs on my own since middle school. We've always had a family dog in the household as well as friends and neighbors who would need help with their little ones. I have a BS in Animal Science, have worked as an emergency vet assistant/triage tech for the last 3 years, and have some professional dog training experience. I currently have 2 guinea pigs, and a 2-year-old AND 1-year-old pitty/lab mix that love to come to work with me and go on all sorts of outdoor adventures! Needless to say, my life revolves around animals and I don't know what the world would be like without them! I would love to get to know your little one and be there for them (and you!) when needed! Good communication and planning helps me arrange my schedule and make myself available for your needs. I often have days off during the week so I can spend time with our furry friends while their families are at work. Having worked in an emergency pet hospital keeps me on my toes and I always put safety first. When it comes to walking outside, I double check collar/harness every time to ensure a secure yet comfortable fit that can't be slipped out of. I also know dog body language and signs of illness to monitor and keep people and pets safe!

I will love yours like my own!❤️ I work full time M-F in pediatric health care and take care of our animals before and after work. I am also free most weekends! My husband works from home and has a flexible schedule during the day. Our daughter (11 years old) also loves to help with the animals! We are an outdoorsy, nature-loving family! We love to walk the dogs in the neighborhood and let them play and sniff all over our large yard. We currently have 2 dogs living with us - Oreo, a terrier, and Duke, a tripod yellow lab!
