“My pups couldn't have had any more fun!! Julie, her husband, and their child couldn't have been any more commentating. We went to Julie's place for a few days before for a sniff, and Julie and her husband were so accommodating with our high energy Viszla. Throughout the time our pups were there Julie sent us pictures and updates. One of our Vizsla is super energetic and loves to play. Our other Vizsla is rather calm and loves to be a couch potato. Both of our pups may have different personalities, but Julie and her husband could not have been any better for us and our pups!! We will definitely be coming back!!”

I'm experienced with dogs of different energy levels and personalities, including playful, high energy dogs as well as more laidback pups who prefer a quiet, relaxed environment. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication routines, and other instructions provided by their owners. I'm also patient with puppies who are still learning and happy to provide extra attention and structure to senior dogs who may need a slower pace or additional care. Most importantly, I treat pet sitting as more than simply stopping by to feed a dog. I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you're away, and I want you to have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I'm dependable, communicative, and will happily send updates and photos so you don't feel like you're missing out while you’re away. I work from home, which allows pet care to fit naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to provide plenty of companionship, regular potty breaks and walks, playtime, and attention throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long periods of time. My schedule also gives me flexibility to accommodate each pet’s individual routine, whether they need frequent breaks, scheduled meals, medication, extra playtime, or simply someone nearby to make them feel comfortable. I enjoy having pets around while I work and am happy to make their care an important part of my day. Please no dropoffs before 8am and no pick ups after 8pm. I have a fenced in yard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time, play, and potty breaks without being exposed to traffic or other outdoor hazards. I’m also happy to follow each pet’s normal routine and any specific instructions from their owner, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and individual preferences. I keep a close eye on pets throughout their stay and make sure they have a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting a client’s home, I treat their space, belongings, and instructions with the same respect I would want for my own pets. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. “We don’t board our dogs or have them watched outside of our home very often. When we do need help, it’s usually a family member or close friend staying at our house. Because of that, we were a little nervous about having them stay somewhere else, but Emily was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient, loving, and kind with both of our dogs—especially our Labrador, who has become quite the homebody in his older years and needed a little extra time to adjust to being away from home. Emily handled it with so much patience and care, and we could tell she genuinely wanted him to feel comfortable and secure. When we picked them up, they were excited to see us but were clearly happy, comfortable, and well looked after. It’s obvious that Emily genuinely cares about the animals she watches and treats them like her own.
