“Amanda has been a passionate animal lover all her life. She has cared not only for dogs and cats but horses, birds, goats, rabbits and much more. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. She has cared for both my dogs and cats, and they adore her! As soon as she walks in the door they greet her excitedly and show her all their toys. They will follow her around and want to snuggle and cuddle with her. My dogs respect her and also behave extremely well when she is caring for them. I highly recommend Amanda to care for any pet! She is the best!”

7. Shelley M.
“I am beyond grateful to have met Shelley. I have tried two other Rover sitters in the past and two neighborhood pet sitters. I was about to give up on finding a great sitter but decided to try Rover one more time. Shelley was fantastic! She arrived as scheduled and completed tasks. She is beyond amazing. This is my first River review, even though Shelley was my third Rover pet sitter. I didn’t feel right leaving bad reviews for the prior two sitters so I didn’t leave a review at all. However, Shelley deserves a review. She is awesome!!!!!!”
8. Emily G.

13. Cassie H.
About: In addition to having family pets since before I could walk, I started a neighborhood pet sitting business with my sister when I was 10, I worked for a pet sitting/dog walking company out of college, and have cared for more friends and neighbors’ pets than I could count. I am experienced in giving oral medication and caring for more special needs pets. I work from home and can do longer morning and evening visits and short midday visits. Visits would have to fit around my meeting schedule so I won’t be able to accommodate a strict midday break schedule. I Will follow whatever specific guidance you provide for your pet to ensure that there is minimal disruption to their world while you are away.
14. Alyssa D.
“Alyssa was an awesome cat sitter! She came over before my trip to meet my kitties and learn their routine. She visited them each day and took care of them -- I appreciated the sweet notes and pictures she sent me. She didn't mind also watering my plant for me and cleaning their litter box. She was very responsive when we messaged on the app. I am so grateful I met her and will definitely book her again for my next trip!”

17. Kayla D.
About: I have grown up and loved pets my whole life. Growing up I had all kinds of cats and dogs, so I familiar with many different breeds! My family has housed a range of animals including ferrets, birds, fish and hamsters. Our home now consists of a chihuahua, salt-water fish, 3 bearded dragons, and 2 geckos. The lizards require extensive care, so I am used to providing more than the average needs for pets. My extended family has also always have dogs so I am used to being around a dog everywhere I go, I love spending time with them!! Right now I am a college student at William and Mary. When I am not in class, I am available to provide care whenever needed. I am pretty flexible as long as it is not during class time. I will always provide a safe environment for the pets and be able to be available pretty much anytime! I love spending time with pets so my number one goal is to make sure they're happy.
