“Emily was so great watching our energetic lab for a few nights! Her communication was super prompt and she shared daily updates with pics/videos. She was so accommodating and her whole family seemed to welcome our dog into their home. Would highly recommend Emily’s boarding services! We’ll be back!! 🙂”

“The pups loved their stay with Amanda and her family! They were clearly doted on and had a great time. We got updates throughout the stay and communication was easy & clear. Would definitely board with her again. Thank you!”

“We had such a great experience leaving our little Luna with Jacob and Willie (his friendly dog!). Jacob was super communicative with little reassuring updates and made sure to provide a cozy and comfortable space for her to stay while we were on vacation. Were really grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who’s looking for someone to care for their pup!”

“Our dog Sara had an absolutely fabulous time at Judy's home. Judy is so friendly, and her dog Rosie became our dog's best friend instantly! There is plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor space for dogs to roam around, and lots of toys. We're so thankful for Judy and her wonderful doggie care!”

“Kourtney is so sweet! She boarded my two dogs for 6 days. I have a big dog who is a love and a little dog who is mean and a biter(legit just randomly bites). I was VERY honest about him and she still accepted him. I honestly cannot thank her enough for taking them. She truly is a rockstar dog sitter!”

“Ashton and his wife took excellent care of my dogs while I was away. They were kind, reliable, and made me feel comfortable knowing my dogs were in good hands. My dogs came home happy, healthy, and well cared for. The pickup and drop-off process was smooth and easy, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my pets. I will definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy pet sitters!”

“Megan did an outstanding job taking care of our pup. Communication was excellent and she sent a lot of really cute pictures of her while we are away. We felt very comfortable leaving her with Megan and her family!”

“Adriana has been so wonderful every step of the way! She was very flexible when I needed to reschedule our meet and greet. She welcomed my family and dog into her beautiful home and has a great set up for hosting dogs. She has a perfect fenced backyard and we were able to see how her dog and cat interacted with our high energy dog. We had a last-minute change of travel plans due to illness and Adriana was so kind and helped us figure out a new plan. Once we dropped off our dog she sent frequent video and photo updates. Her family made sure he had a lot of play time and exercise through games in their yard and neighborhood walks. She is very organized, kind and a great communicator. I highly recommend her and we will definitely trust her with our dog for future travel.”

“Absolute best sitter I've left my GSD with. Hoping to book again soon so he gets more socialization with their pup. Kalani was very accommodating and understanding of my last minute request to book on a holiday weekend and my boys' anxiety that can look like aggression. Great communication and care. Would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat!”

“I can’t stop saying how wonderful Rachel is. She has cared for Louis several times and each time I’m at ease because I know he’s in good hands. Thank you Rachel so much!”

“Yingying and her family took such wonderful and thoughtful care of Max! He was a spoiled and happy boy while staying with them. Highly recommend and would happily rebook in the future.”

“Luiz and his family took such great care of our dog!! She was treated like she was family and make what could have been a challenging stay into a puppy retreat. We received daily pictures and videos. We will definitely use Luiz again!! Such a great experience!!”

“Jessica and her family were amazing caretakers for our 6 month-old Golden Retriever, Ollie! During his stay, Jessica sent me continual updates, photos and videos of Ollie enjoying walks, playing with her own dogs, watching Sunday football, and having the best time! I would highly recommend Jessica and look forward to Ollie staying with her again soon!!”

“Alberta took great care of my pet mice! She helped me move their cage, put them into their travel carrier for me (which is not an easy task sometimes...), and sent me pictures while I was away so I could see how they were doing. Highly recommended, I'll definitely go back to her if I need to board them again.”

About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

“Tilly seemed to enjoy her overnight stay and interacted well with Alexandra’s dog. There was excellent communication between us with several great status photos provided. Will certainly use her services again!”

“Angelina went above and beyond every single day, sending me regular updates, photos, and little notes that made me smile and reassured us that everything was going smoothly. Coming home, I could tell my dog had been not only well taken care of but genuinely loved. It’s such a relief to have someone I can trust. Thank you, Angelina!”

“Rose had a great overnight with Jodi. Jodi was super nice and made Rose comfortable in a new space. We got updates and photos so we knew Rose was doing well. Rose hasn’t been boarded very often so we are very happy to have someone to look out for her. We’ll definitely use Jodi agin.”

“Was very communicative and great with my dog. Took blue on multiple runs and hour long walks, which really helps her when she’s feeling anxious away from home. Would definitely recommend.”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
