I have spent years caring for my own dogs while also learning proper care and training from my granddaughter who works in veterinary medicine. I am passionate about giving your pets a loving home away from home. I am retired and spend most of my days working around my house with my two yorkies. I have a fenced in yard that we spend alot of our day in. My neigherborhood is very quiet and does not have a lot of traffic, I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to play safely. For cats, I have a safe and quiet room that they can have to themselves away from my two yorkies, but the yorkies have been around cats before and are okay with them.

About: I have raised and trained two puppies and I have also been a pet sitter for several families, caring for pets of all ages. I love to care for animals and provide them with lots of attention. I currently have a puppy who is very playful and she will be a great playmate for any dogs that like to play. I am happy to accommodate any special needs that your dog may have, and I enjoy taking dogs on walks if they like that. My schedule is generally pretty open for doggy daycare and boarding. I have a lot of availability but the days and times that I am available vary week to week. I am a massage therapist working part time out of my house, so when on a day that I have clients coming I will not be taking dogs. I am almost always available for overnight boarding. I have a fenced in yard and a puppy of my own that will give your dog company and entertainment. I am happy to take your dog on walks, feed and play with them, and give them snuggles if they like that.

About: We lost our beloved lab last year, she was 20 yrs old. We miss the pitter patter of paws, just not ready to be full time dog parents again. I am willing to take multiple dogs from one house or two that are sociable. I'm one to cuddle, but let them direct the inter action. I work from home and taking care of a dogs as they need will not be a problem. They will be in the house with me and get at least 1 if not 2 leash walks daily depending on the weather and heat. We have a large fenced yard wher they can run and play. My day normally starts around 5 AM with a walk. I work from home so I will be able to take breaks through out the day to allow for potty breaks. and their bedding will be in my office during the work day and in the living room or bed room in the evening. We will only create them if required or we need to leave the house for an eran.

About: I've been pet sitting on Rover for over 4 years now and I have over 10 years experience overall! I have cats of my own and had dogs growing up in the country. I'll treat your pet friends with trust,care, and lots of attention!!😏 My schedules pretty open and Im home most of the time! I try to stay reliable and affordable at all times and love meeting new people and animals! I currently live in a three bedroom house with a fenced yard. If chosen to care for your animals... I'd be very kind, patient and passionate while dealing with them. I'd make sure they have plenty of food and water and make sure they use the bathroom or have a clean litter box. I never discipline and I refuse to take a dog with a shock collar. The house is less than a mile outside of town and offers a large yard for walking and running on a leash. If you board with me, your dog or cat will be in safe hands. I'd report any kind of issue to you immediately. I like to send a lot of photos and videos during the service, I know how stressful it can be leaving your pet with an unknown person.

My main option on here is Boarding but I also do doggy day care, drop-ins and house sitting. I have worked with animals of all breeds and sizes for years so I have extensive experience. About: Hi, my name is Abby and I recently worked at a grooming and boarding facility here in Opelousas where I would care for the dogs such as feeding, giving water, giving medications, potty breaks, and love on them as well as watch and train with the groomer to learn how to groom. Animals have always been my passion! Right now I have my own dog, Murphy, a 2 year old labradoodle/poodle. I have always had dogs my whole life and also have experience with cats, birds, hamsters, chinchillas, and fish! I am now a dog groomer so I also offer bathing and grooming services while your pup gets pampered here in the comfort of my own home! In last years, I cooked her a special diet and gave her meds crushed in a few drops of local honey and a few drops of water when it became too hard to get her to take them any other way. She ate the cheese and spit out the pill!

About: I have loved all animals from a young age but have an especially soft spot for dogs. I have worked with a pitbull rescue in the past, volunteered at rescue events and shelters and my sister has been a vet tech for over a decade. I currently have 7 fur baby rescues of my own that I have found wandering the streets all different sizes and breeds : ) I work full-time but from home. I have a constant rotation in place for letting pups out to potty, play, and spend one on one time with them. I am almost always home except for a few hours throughout the week to workout or run errands. My personal pets have an underground fence that keeps them in the yard, however I have 3 large covered runs under the carport each with a grassy area and shop fans, cots, and large water basins if extended outdoor time is required other than a leash walk for your baby. Indoors I have 2 bedrooms designated for pups as well as a living area. I rotate groups throughout these areas as well as outside during the day as I have dogs of all ages and activity levels.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was roughly ten years old. I have experience with all age groups, training experience, and medical experience! I also have experience in potty training! I currently work fulltime for Rover, although that may change sometime in the future. I pride myself in taking the time and energy to devote myself to certain areas like pet care though.
