“Karen took great care of our boy- very communicative and patient with his minor separation anxiety- if we find ourselves back in town we’ll be happy to work with her again!”

“They took great care of our energetic boy! Sent daily messages and pictures which were great to see 😁 and very accommodating after our flight got delayed and we didn’t make it back in time to pick him up!”

“Emily and her family took great care of my pup! She send lots of pictures and I truly felt like she cared for my dog as her own. Her house was clean and inviting and she was easy to communicate with. I would book with her again!”

“This was our first time boarding our 7 month old puppy and the experience couldn’t have been any better. Anuradha and her family took amazing care of our dog. They sent us photos and videos everyday. Our dog slept with them at night and got to run around with their dog everyday. We will definitely be boarding here again in the future when we need too!”

“Bobbi was absolutely amazing with Franklin! She kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she truly loves dogs and treated him like one of her own. I’ll definitely be booking with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!”

“Krystal's love of dogs is evident and her current bestie, Duke, was a welcoming partner! We left our sweet Piper with Krystal for a week and Piper seemed to adjust well and was in good spirits when we picked her up. I think she even missed Krystal and Duke for a day or so after we returned home! Krystal kept us abreast of how Piper was doing and was responsive to our questions. I was amazed by how unfazed she was by the cold, wet weather that hung over the Fox Valley the week we were away; seemingly taking the additional 4 muddy paws in stride! We would happily re-book with Krystal the next time we need to leave town.”

“Chelsea and her family took such great care of our two pups while we were away! We enjoyed the daily updates and pictures she sent us. We would definitely book again with Chelsea!”
“Maria was great! While on vacation we got delayed an extra night due to a tropical storm and she was quick to help and eased any worry of having a safe place for our dog. Chewy is a great pup but in need of a little extra attention and Maria easily fulfilled this as she only watched one dog at a time having Chewy return to us happy and healthy! We were also able to see updates on him through the pictures she sent and could see his personality still shining through as he was definitely comfortable in her care.”

“Cathy was a great sitter for Bandit! She was very communicative, reasonably flexible, and captured so many cute moments of Bandit’s stay with her. I would absolutely book Cathy again.”

“Luana is loving caring individual and takes pride in taking cate of your fur baby making sure my dog was a priority. Sends great pictures to provide updates. I will definitely recommend.”

“This was my first time using Rover (or any kind of pet sitting service) and everything was absolutely flawless. Gina was absolutely fantastic! Rover was an excellent choice, also. I had to rearrange dates with her and she was able to do all the necessary “paperwork “. I simply had to “accept “ changes which made me very happy as I’m not really tech-savvy!! From our dogs first meet and greet to the time I picked him up I was 100% confident in her genuine love and affection for animals. I received updates and photos of our dogs having a great time together regularly. I will definitely be requesting Gina & “Mack”, her adorable Chihuahua anytime I need a pet sitter in the future.”

“Our dog typically takes a really long time to feel comfortable at a new place, but she felt at home within a day. We were sent lots of pictures and updates, and the entire household was friendly, communicative, and very accommodating to our schedule!”

“Thank you, thank you, thank you for taking such good care of our doggie while we were away for a week. Knowing he was being loved and cared for like he is a member of your family gave us such a peace of mind.”

About: I have worked with numerous animals since I was 5 years old. I have owned chickens, rabbits, horses, dogs, and cats my entire life. I am a 4-H leader where I teach children how to train dogs and I help them show and prepare their animals at fair. I also show my own animals at the fair. Additionally, I have pet sat for numerous family members over the years as well as friends. I will always be there for your pet and I will make sure they are well taken care of and loved just like they are my own. I am a teacher who is currently on summer break. So my schedule is pretty open during the summer and I have a lot of availability. During the school year, most of my weekends are free as well as when we have breaks. I am flexible and willing to make things work for you! I live on a little hobby farm with my husband. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats who are very friendly. I have everything needed in my home to take care of a dog including a kennel if needed as well as tie outs. We have a lake that is 5 minutes from our house and if your dog loves to swim, I would be happy to take them. I take my dogs all over in the summer and I would make sure your pet gets a lot of attention and exercise as well. Additionally, we have a huge barn and fenced in pasture as well as rabbit hutches in the barn and a chicken coop! Whatever animal you have they can be comfortable at my property. Additionally, if you feel better about your animal staying at home, I am happy to accommodate to that as well.
“Laura is the definition of a perfect rover. I left my golden retriever mix with her for 2 weeks this summer and she took such unbelievable care of our Miso. She welcomed her into her family and home. She was reliable, provided cute photos, brought her to a lake on a family trip and even dropped her off at the end. She was perfect and I can’t wait to use her again. For my first rover experience, this was a dream come true. Thank you Laura and fam!!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
